We literally don't skip it. Now--the Utah scones. These are newer for us and I'm still not over them. Like... why are they that good?? I honestly think R&R gets overlooked because people walk in expecting a plate of meat and call it a day--but the real magic is in the fun stuff. The loaded, slightly chaotic, unexpectedly amazing menu items that don't feel like typical BBQ. So if you've been and thought it was just okay--go back. Order different. Be brave. Get the fries. I dunno, the young man was incredibly nice and respectful so I give 5 stars just for him. The smells are amazing immediately upon entering the very clean and tidy establishments. Service with a smile was prevalent ..greetings and farewells with thanks. Customer appreciation incarnate... I got my 3 meet plate to go. I'm now totally distracted by the delicious smells emanating from my package. Need to get home to sample the goods. First bite... ribs, sausage and brisket. Got three to go sauces. They gave me two of each. Carolina sauces. Yellow with a hint of sweet mustard. Original- Smokey and savory- very good Spicy Sweet - is an excellent blend of spicy Amd sweet. Very tasty. The ribs were meaty and Smokey. . Very tasty. You get two bones on the three meat platter. The perfect number. Hot sausage was perfectly mild. Very good. Good portion. Came in on a Sunday with the family and while the service was good and the location was clean, the food was dismal. What happened to the quality bbq R&R was known for? My pork loin was way overcooked, dry and gritty. My brisket was dry and cold. Really hope things get better but R&R is off my list for now. read more

I ordered the R&R plate for lunch. The brisket was cooked to perfection and the ribs were less meaty today, but still tasty. I was with a big group so we ate outside which was peaceful and nice. There was a soda that was out which an employee quickly resolved for me. Finishing off with their peach cobbler was wonderful. read more

Had lunch here with my friend and it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, the meat tasted like it was boiled.... Also had the mac and cheese which just tasted like microwaved mac with an unnecessary amount of pepper. My friend ordered ribs and it was very dry.. last time I came was 3-4 years ago and it was a much better experience then. read more

Ordered the small family dinner and they up-charge for brisket, so we paid an additional $20 to have all brisket. No brisket just fat end pieces, it was terrible! This is last time I will go there! Called the manager and he said he would refund us the $20 but had to run any additional through the GM. What a waste of my money and gift cards. Normally this place is not bad and I'm not sure if its this location or what but today the wings were not good. I'm guessing someone made sure the chicken made it to 165 degrees and took them out of the frier and plated them but sadly the wings were fatty and the meat was stuck to the bone. Found a nice chunk of something in my burger. Food tastes great but its a surprise when you bite down on something hard. The service was standard not really an outstanding performance but thats the younger generation i guess..As for ambiance... pretty standard. I would like to see some softer seating. The drink machine was out of 2 selections as well as the sweet tea machines being broken. When i asked the young man while eating, if he had ketchup he just pointed to the drink supply counter and said, "over there" in an impersonal way. Tasty "Fast Food" style BBQ. We grabbed a number and ordered from our table instead of waiting in line. Service: Fairly quick and friendly. Food: Pulled pork nachos were pretty good, but seemed quite plain. Meat, Queso, diced tomatoes (fun fresh flavor) and white sauce was all that was included. Add your own BBQ sauce from the table. I would've enjoyed them more with a thinner chip. Hubby had 3 meat meal: pulled pork, turkey and ribs. Side of mashed potato and roll. Meat was dry, even after adding sauce. I came here on a date on a Thursday evening at about 6:30 and it was PACKED. Super long line too so we decided to get takeout and eat in the parking lot before going to the escape room place nearby (hence my dark picture). My date got the deal of the day which was the rib tips and fries and I got the pulled pork nachos. The fries were good. The ribs were dry! Pretty hard to chew. Not very flavorful either. I normally love R&R BBQ, but this location has consistently given me old, dry food. The brisket was dry on my last visit. The hush puppies were stale on the previous visit and the chicken was cold. The portions have consistently gotten smaller and the prices are a little higher. I've heard others say similar things about this location. It's a shame because I've loved going to the other locations. If there is another location somewhat close to you, choose that one. You'll probably get better food. Not good. We usually go to R&R in SoJo and Lehi but we wanted to try a new location. We won't be back. Food was more than dry. Look like the brisket on my husband's nachos was not cooked fresh the same day. I don't eat meat, so to say the baked potato was dry too says a lot. The side salad was ok but so tiny. The young lady taking our order had a dry personality too. She got nicer after my son told her she had a crappy attitude. I don't understand - Too expensive these days to think we'll come back if you treat us poorly and skimp on quality. Must be the location tho cuz I've never had this issue with R&R before. The food is usually delicious, but this new location is always out of food. Came in on a Sunday and they were out of 3/4 of their menu. They blamed it on supply chain issues, but I go to many other restaurants and I never see a sign on the door of other establishments stating they were out of everything. Sounds like management at this location needs to figure it out and learn how to order properly. This is the third time I've been here since it opened and every time they were out of a lot of items. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a Caveman burger and paid extra to add bacon. After I ordered my food to go, I was told apparently they are out of patties and could use sausage instead. I was fine with that. After getting home and looking at my food. They forgot to add the bacon that I paid for.
