The beef itself was tasty, though it came topped with that same mango salsa that I don't think it needed. The rice was on the plain side for me. The dish also came with a plantain of some kind that was hard to place, somewhere between a maduro and a tostone. We also tried the yuca frita, and the texture was a little different than what I'm used to. There's clearly a following here and the flavors are good in their own right. It just leans more its own style than classic Cuban, so I'd go in expecting a fresh take rather than the traditional version.
