This was a Mexican food "stand" that popped up at browns island for a festival.. I ordered an elote en vaso($6) and quesabirria tacos($17). The elote was great! Sweet, savory, creamy but texture was different because it was not on the cob. The quesabirria taco were pretty good. Good meat and consomé. The only critique was the crispiness of the tacos, they were a little soft. Given it was a stand and not a real kitchen it was still excellent. I would definitely try them again to get the in person experience. Food(50%): 7.6 Staff/service(25%): n/a Value(25%): 6.7 Overall: 7.2/10
Although service is always very sweet, the mangonada is something that I normally get from either here or dahlia. This time, I felt like the mangonada was not as big and the consistency was off then normal. Their prices are a bit more expensive than other places as well. At first we had gotten a small mangonada while ordering a large which was not a big deal, although the large mangonada we were given was taken from the fridge or freezer so most of the mangos were kind of frozen (usually soft) and the ice part of it was more chunky/clump than it was supposed to be (likely because it sat inside of the cold). Inside had a small amount of seats but fitting for the place. The corn is always good here!
This place has been on my list but a local food reviewer on social media got me here! It's a smaller establishment with heavier foot traffic, you can dine in and there are two tables outside. My group placed our orders online and arrived less than five minutes prior to our pick up time. We did end up waiting another twenty minutes but it was worth it! I ordered the RenzoEats burrito and a cup of street corn in a small. I loved that with each bite of the massive burrito, there was a new combination of flavor. The steak was cut into smaller pieces which I loved because I'm not a "hunks of steak" girl. The flavors and seasonings reminded me of a homecooked meal; and the corn?! So good. Buttery, savory, sweet! Despite the order taking longer than the estimated pickup time, the service was great, the workers were polite and friendly! Will definitely be back!
Excellent Mexican food. The birria is really good. My husband always gets their carne aside fries and loves them. Great service. They have coke products for drinks. Sometimes there is a delay in getting your food when they're busy, which is normal, just be ready to wait during rush hour
Excellent food! I visited for a quick birthday bite and enjoyed every bit! I had the quesabirria tacos. Served hot and stuffed to the edges! The cheese set everything off! It was nice and clean inside and they had good musics playing. The service was good! The employees were nice and helpful.
We had chips and queso, grilled cheese birria, and Renzo eats burrito. We ate hear based off Renzo Eats and this place did not disappoint. In addition to being amazing food, the restaurant was clean (including the bathroom) and the staff was competent. We definitely will be coming back and can't wait to try more menu items!
Birria Burrito was nice and freshly made lot of beef and rice. They should have added some bean in this burrito. The texture was good I wish they had toast one side so been easy to dip it in the sauce. Eote Entero was very sweet and tastes! I was greet with a smile. My waited was about :35 minutes. I will come back to try something different! They have ice cream too!
We highly enjoyed our selections here. Love that it's local family owned. Location is quite small so be aware in regard to seating. It would be great to see them add a few small tables outside, particularly during warmer months.
The food was descent. I feel that the tacos were a bit unflavored and a bit on the dry side. The torta was okay, again a bit dry. It was supposed to be an Al pastor torta and it lacked the pineapple and redness to the meat. The fries were good, especially because you can tell they are frozen fries. The ramen birria was okay, it did have a lot of birria but again still lacking flavor. The green salsa was chunky almost as it was defrosted. The churro sundae was delicious. The churros were freshly made and crunchy. Over all I rate it a 7/10 for a taco place and 10/10 for their ice cream options.

I was disappointed to learn that the shop could only make chocolate and vanilla flavors when it came to milkshakes- even though there's multiple ice cream flavors available. I ended up purchasing the chocolate milkshake, which was average tasting.

The selections are all provided to you via the menu on the wall and the ice cream case that is awesomely displaying their flavors. The woman taking our order was in peasant and accommodating. I ordered the Quesabirrias with shrimp (3 tacos in each order). They usually come with pork, but as I stated in the previous paragraph, they were accommodating. He ordered an El Pastor quesadilla (comes with fries). The quesabirria tacos come with the dipping sauce and a spicy sauce that has a serious kick to it. The tacos were not skimpy on the shrimp and filling. The sauce was great and spicy and the dipping sauce was delicious as well. He said that the quesadilla was delicious and the fries have a spice or seasoning on them that keeps you wanting to eat them. I tasted the fries and I am still in my feelings that my order didn't include fries (lol). Unfortunately, I could not taste their ice cream selections, but I will DEFINITELY go back as many of Their flavors look so delicious. They can be made into smoothies. Also, near the register, they have bottled drinks and snack you cannot find anywhere else. Give them a try when you are craving tacos.
Been wanting to try this place for a while and all I can say is why did I wait so long! Husband and I got the birria tacos, Al pastor torta with fries, and chips and quac. I *think* these might be my favorite birria tacos in Richmond. The meat was super flavorful and they didn't skimp on the portion size of meat in each taco. The torta was soooo good, all of the flavors mixed perfectly together. And I loved the homemade chips with the guac that had a good tang of lime. I also love that they have plenty of dessert options including Hershey's ice cream. read more

My favorite spot for ice cream, I always stop by if I can. Their cookies and cream is one of my favorite ice creams of all time. I also love their mangonada. Everyone there is super nice and friendly. read more

Just had the pleasure of dining here for lunch today and it was AMAZING!!!! There are limited tables inside however the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back! read more

Small place but enough seating. Food was tasty, chicken torta had great seasoning. Steak quesadilla was great, lots of cheese. Agua frescas were extremely sweet. Seems like they do a lot of DoorDash/phone orders, service was good but a bit slow. Didn't get ice cream but looks like a great selection. read more
I am a big birria fan, having lived in Southern California and visited Mexico a few times, so I have been wanting to try E-Loteria's version of it! I was happily surprised, and loved their birria tacos. The meat was juicy, tender, and the consommé served with it was so flavorful. Loved the ambiance with the Loteria wallpaper, and as a special treat they had the balloon backdrop from their birthday celebration. I liked their horchata too and it wasn't too sweet. Service was friendly and quick. I will certainly be back to try other items from their menu! read more

My true rating 4.5/5... This place is so fun and cute!! I'm taking my little sister back her on Valentine's day. Their dessert menu looks so good, and we'll need something sweet on a sweet day. The elote loco was my favorite! You got so much, and it was so delicious for a really great price! The drinks were also yummy, the pineapple being my favorite. I loved the cute pouch! There were a lot of bright colors! Walking in instantly puts you in a good mood. The staff was also so friendly and so accommodating. Our table was out of paper towels, and she came and restocked and quickly wiped down before our food was even ready. We didn't even ask her! I appreciated the awareness. The only reason for that half star lost was because my quesadilla and my fries were very salty :( It was really yummy, but I couldn't finish it because of the salt. read more
Randomly saw this place on Yelp and added to my to-try list. Finally got a chance and I was sooooo happy with the food! I was craving elote and their originial elote featured sweet and chewy corn with a nice layer of mayo and queso. You have the option of picking different spice levels. Their quesabirria tacos are DELICIOUS - juicy and tender meat with well-seasoned consomme soup and good chunks of cheese! Even without dipping, the meat inside the taco was already dripping with sauce. The flavors took me back to my time in LA! The lengua taco surprised me! I'm a huge fan of beef tongue and their lengua was cooked super soft. The corn tortilla was a little on the harder side but their meat and salsa made up for it! I also enjoyed their horchata - a little tad sweet but just how I like my horchatas. Everything was priced reasonably, the staff members were nice in walking me through the elote options, and there is a huge parking lot. Seating is limited but tables were clean and their food is definitely bomb! 12/10 would recommend trying!! read more

Best ice cream I've had in Richmond. Menu of tacos, elote, and ICE CREAM. Delicious. Get the coconut-pineapple! Five flavors of agua fresca on tap. I watched them make a batch of the pineapple-cucumber. No mystery ingredients here! read more

Delicious! We had the quesabirria tacos and elote en vaso. I got a medium cup and probably could've went with a small since it was so large! (I say this in a good way) The tacos were incredible. The outside was perfectly crispy and not greasy. Plenty of protein inside and the consommé was flavorful. They give you a decent portion of broth so you even have some leftover to sip on if you'd like. They give you salsa verse as well as some cucumber salad. The salsa verde had a nice kick to it. The cucumber salad wasn't perfect pallet refresher. Service was great and our food came out quickly. This is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. They also have ice cream and other desserts. We were stuffed so we didn't have any, but we will definitely be back. read more

Hands down, 10000000% the most delicious tacos I have EVER eaten in my life. the meat was so flavorful and the shells had the PERFECT crispiness to them. Yes, it took 30 minutes to cook, but absolutely worth it...just call ahead if your crunched on time. The street corn was so amazing and juicy. Can't wait to try more items on the menu on a weekly basis. read more

The birria tacos are definitely a go for sure. Super rich flavor and good balance of cilantro and onions inside. The rest of the menu looked really delicious as well. Definitely need to go back and try the ice cream and other snack plates they sell. Only problem I had with the place was the price of the taco plate. For 3 quesabirria tacos I paid 14 dollars, (regular tacos were 4 dollars) little pricey if you ask me. Alll in all, good place to go just can't go there everyday haha. read more

We visited E-Lotería based on the deliciousness they serve showing up on my instagram feed and the pictures were not deceiving! We started out with some ice cold jarritos! I'd been dying to try the birria ramen and it was super delicious! The birria quesadilla and elote was super delicious as well! I can't believe I hadn't gone sooner. Stop scrolling and go!
