Happened to be in the area and saw this gem in the strip mall across from Food Lion/Hope Thrift off Patterson. I was welcomed when I walked in and announced it was my first time. The kitchen was in the back and there were a few "dine in" tables both inside and out. The entire place was very clean. The owner is from Argentina, and there's a string art picture of his homeland on the wall. Another wall boasts a menagerie of plants and succulents. We were greeted by a pleasant young lady, the owners relative and she explained all the varieties of empanadas and their numbering system to tell them apart. We ordered the ground beef, the pork and the spinach pockets. They were pretty good, nicely seasoned, flaky, but not over the top. We got 3 for $10 which didn't put a huge dent in our "pocket"!
