    Amazing shredded beef arepa.
    Mark C.

An easy 5 star rating. I needed a snack while having beers at Vasen and this was an easy target, with the shredded beef arepa being my mark. It was stuffed with a generous portion of delicious, tender, juicy shredded beef. If you've never had an arepa you've got to try one and try one from this business. The people behind the scenes in the truck are friendly and welcoming. I'm going to find your truck for a meal soon!

Delicious arepa made to order. Be prepared to wait 20 min because they are made to order con amor! Generous size-- one is plenty!

The cashier confirmed my order, but still gave me the wrong items and they were burnt. I brought them back, and she tried to convince me it was the same thing I ordered. As if I was just supposed to eat whatever they handed me. I asked for a refund. She got an attitude, disappeared into the kitchen, and came back saying it'd be 5 minutes to fix. Seven minutes later, it was still wrong they gave me chicken instead of beef. I spent over $80 and was treated like my business didn't matter. If I pay for something, I expect to get exactly that not what you feel like giving me. Poor service. Basic food. Sloppy attitude. Beware Richmond, VA (I told you so) this was my last visit. One star.

This tidy little Latino market carries many Hispanic, Mexican and South American products. Being of Cuban descent, I frequently head to this site for Goya products, including rice, black beans, plantains, Adobo spices, coffee, Maria cookies, fresh fruits and veggies, tomato items, empanada shells and my "never be without" Mojo Criollo Goya marinade. This marinade truly is the spice of life and I use it in many of my recipes! You will also find baked goods, household items, and sundries at this store. There's a deli/butcher in the back and a frozen food section. There's also a small restaurant and pupuseria serving Latin fare, from Cuban sandwiches to tacos to tostones to tamales to yucca to soups/sides and more. They serve Cuban coffee, horchata, Latin sodas, and other drinks and some tempting desserts, like flan and tres leches cake. For an inexpensive, quick bite in a casual, no nonsense eatery with lots of festive atmosphere, you've gotta try Cielito Lindo, it really is "a slice of heaven". And not to worry if you don't speak Spanish, some of the folks there speak English. ¡Provecho!
