Menu with Espresso, gelato, and stroopwaffles

Great stroopwaffles! Just like The Netherlands. Great service. Very friendly and lots of options. Also gelato and espresso drinks.

Best Stroopwaffles outside of The Netherlands! So happy to have found this place while visiting Montreal. The owner is an absolute delight! Going back tonight for another one!

There is gelato almost on every block very similar to Italy. So we have had an opportunity to…read moreconsume too much gelato and so we did! Paysanne gelato was delicious. We had the petite pistachio and mango. You have to pace yourself as gelato is not calorie free. Service was fast friendly. The was seating nearby where you could eat your gelato and savor every bite. Ok so the day before my interview I went to Eaton Center and saw all the flavour of gelato in this…read moreplace, and I almost cried! "I cannot eat this! Not the day before interview." So right after my interview I ran here! The staff is very nice and let me try the flavours (the labels are all in French! But for the most part I could guess what it were!) So I tried creme brûlée which is not a tad too sweet to my likings, and pistachio. And then they were like pistachio with chocolate and cherry, or plain? The kid inside me were almost like "can I try everything?" With much self control I tried the plain one and it was awesome!!! And then I got a small scope! And the they were like you can get one more flavour! I was like "YAY! (with the victory dance in my head)". So I was like strawberries please (gelato strawberries are always good!) Happiness for less than $5! Where else can you find? P.S. apparently my boyfriend told me gelato is still made of dairy! More specifically cream! None of him and more for me! Ho-ho-ho!

Tried to come back twice :) Overall, lovely, very true-to-flavor and high quality flavors, noting…read morethat some of the flavors are more subtle than others (e.g., in the chestnut and maple). The chocolate ice cream on the other hand is super saturated (note the Dutch chocolate is the same as the sea salt except the salt). While I loved the ice cream, unless I'm specifically in the mood for something creamy, I actually think I would prefer to get the sorbets next time for the more concentrated gelato-like flavor. The matcha sorbet seemed like a winner, but they also have such a wide range of delicious flavors. They let you try some flavors, which is perfect for an indecisive person like me. And the servers are so sweet!

Cross my heart and hope to die - Cremerie Meu Meu has the best sorbets I've ever had…read more My friend stumbled upon this ice-cream shop tucked in a tiny storefront near the Mont-Royal station on a blistering hot and humid day in Montreal. We first got a double scoop of the Orange and Arctic Fire Sorbets. I'm not usually one to get orange-flavoured desserts/drinks since I can easily get some old-fashioned OJ, but this Orange Sorbet was absolutely divine on the hot day. Sweet and tangy, yet not overpowering. The Arctic Fire was an interestingly sweet with a floral tone - I wish I remembered the main ingredient, but I was too busy indulging in my ice-cream/sorbet addiction. The sorbets were incredibly good. After we devoured them, we went back in immediately to try more flavours. My friend and I ultimately decided on the Mango and Passion Fruit Sorbets, both representing tangy fruits that we enjoy and love. The owner highly recommended the Cantaloupe to help us cool off, and proceeded to give us a free scoop on top of our packed cup! We were so appreciative of the free scoop, and I'm glad we got to try it out! It was my favourite flavour - it genuinely tasted straight like the fruit, just an ice-y form. My friend's favourite was the Orange. If you're in the Mont-Royal area, make sure to give this place a try! I wish we tried some of their ice-cream flavours, but we already did 5 different sorbet flavours that night. Couldn't afford a brain freeze! I think from now on, I'm gonna start trying Orange-flavoured desserts/drinks.
