Le Petit Dep is just adorable! We were coming out of the Notre Dame Basilica, thinking to get some coffee and just across we see this cute cafe, and it was like meant to be. Inside, is eclectic, with so much to look at wherever you turn your head to. Plants, art, merchandise and, of course, all the pastries and delicious treats they offer. The line moved quickly, but finding a place to sit is tricky. It's a small seating area, but worth waiting for a table to open up so you can enjoy the ambiance while sipping on their delicious coffees. My latte was perfection, served in a porcelain cup (real tea time), and the chocolate croissant was decadent. Plus that glace on top... just as pictured in French Cookbooks. Wish I had gone back before we left and taken some to go.

Cute and charming coffee shop just next to Notre-Dame. My London Fog Tea was just what I was looking for on this sunny morning in Montreal. Wish they had the bagels fresh to order, but mine was still good. Grabbed a chocolate croissant to go for later, and that was delicious! I would certainly suggest you go here for a bakery item. They will warm it for you to enjoy right away.

Located right up the street from my hotel and a few steps away from the Place D'Arms is a nice hidden gem of a cafe. As you walk in you can feel a bit of a nostalgic atmosphere from the local products to the decorations and greenery that blends all together. The staff was friendly and very focused to make sure your order is the way you prefer. I enjoyed the buttery croissant and an iced Jasmine tea. I also bought some sliced strawberries. All a perfect combo to go sit in the square and have a light snack. I went everyday to this cafe because I fell in love with its charm. I think you'll enjoy this place too. Njoy!

Oh, super charming little café right across from Notre Dame basilica. Amazing fresh food, selections, and delightful drinks. Fun things to look at everywhere your eyes rest They also have large cases of take away food and drinks as well as local packaged foods to take home to remember a trip to Montreal.

They have their own little store inside, they have a bunch of city merch and also of the coffee place itself. I got a cold brew and a peanut butter cookie... then I realized I'm trying the matcha lattes so I went back and got one hehe The cold brew was ... okay but it is pretty strong I am not sleeping tonight haha The cookie was also okay it felt like a subway cookie which taste great but I kind of expected more than just subway level taste :/ The matcha was better, it was a bit milky but I loved the taste!

Love the ice cream choco latte! To die for! La Tuile'rie was so delicious! Ice cream a La mode was so goooood! Strong coffee!

I was first attracted by this place from its green facade. It looks charming on the outside. The decor and furniture inside is lovely too! Besides an array of candies and sweets, they have a wall of chocolates and fine goods. While browsing their counter of foods, I was delighted to see a vegan peanut butter & chocolate chia pudding. This is what I bought and I'm salivating just thinking about it now.

This adorable little café is definitely worth the visit for the decor alone but we would suggest stopping for a snack. Sweet or savoury - you can't go wrong and it will definitely hit the spot. We enjoyed it so much we actually went to both old port locations on the same day

What a beautiful cafe! The aesthetic is so charming and rustic. Old French teapots and doilies decorate this little shop. As a typical tourist, I got Canadian syrup in a can. But this place offers so much more- jars and jars of jams and marmalades. Come early because seating is extremely limited!

I came here for coffee the other day and it was possibly the worst coffee I've ever had! Tasted like old socks! I won't be coming back.

I ordered my raspberry and custard danish to pair with my Americano coffee... but I also wanted something more substantial so I went with the pancetta. Well, I thought I was ordering the pancetta, when I pointed at the item with the sign for it, it was actually a ham and cheese croissant...but until they served it I didn't know that's what I had pointed to. When I questioned it that it didn't look like pancetta they said that people always mix that up... I guess maybe they ought to display it differently, but they happily made me the pancetta and I took it to go because at that point I had already bit into the ham and cheese and that along with the danish and coffee, it was enough for then... They didn't charge me for the pancetta! That was NICE, so I gave them an extra tip in the jar, because they were very gracious about it. The danish was very good and went nicely with the coffee. I enjoyed my window seat overlooking the street (until the bee came....) Later, when I went to eat the pancetta, I unwrapped it and found it to be barely filled with any meat, but certainly plenty of greens. It wasn't pleasant, so I didn't really take but a couple bites before throwing that away. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, if that's how it normally comes. Overall I'd go again and order the danish and coffee. The ham and cheese was actually pretty good too. But I'd be careful on the pancetta.. maybe it was a one-off situation.

It can get busy and the lines form out the door, but the pastries and coffee are worth it. We ordered the chocolate and pistachio filled croissants and donuts. I would rate both chocolate and pistachio filled croissants a 9/10 and the donut versions of each a 7/10. I felt the croissants tasted better and had more filling. We ordered the Remix which is authentic freddo expresso, cafe crema soft serve and topped off with hot frothed milk and chocolate. This was a 10/10 and was every bit of amazing as it looks in the picture. Service was fast and friendly. One note, they don't have flavored coffees, so I couldn't order a caramel latte, for example. We ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisu, and an affogato, and every single item exceeded expectations. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overly sweet -- pure comfort in a cup. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed with bold espresso flavor and beautifully textured milk, exactly how a great Italian-style coffee should be. The highlight of our visit, without question, was the affogato. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The pistachio gelato was unbelievably creamy, nutty, and flavorful, and when paired with the hot espresso, it created an unforgettable balance of temperature and taste. It was truly out of this world and worth the visit on its own. To finish, the tiramisu was light, perfectly layered, and not overpowering -- a flawless end to an already incredible experience. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and authentic. Café Olimpico isn't just a café -- it's an experience. Exceptional quality, consistency, and passion in every cup and dessert. Highly recommended, and absolutely a place we'll keep coming back to.
