    Ice latte

Such a cute little place, the area is under construction which was a little annoying but the place is worth it. We came in on a Sunday to have a quick breakfast before heading to the science museum. Their coffee is really good and the food was great, we came in right on time before it became packed, we were a group of 5. Our server Elle Gallacher was super nice & really funny which made the experience even better. Highly recommended

A charming corner cafe in Montreal. It is located in an old building filled with charm, and lots of beautiful plants. There were several levels with seating options. We stopped in for coffee and pastries and there were so many choices it was hard to decide. We had lattes, scones and cookies. The were all so fresh and sweet. Service was excellent. The staff were nice, friendly and patient while we were deciding which pastries we wanted to purchase. Highly Recommend!

Avocado toast and s'mores French toast, along with hot chocolate
    Maria B.

My husband and I had breakfast here today and we thought the smores French toast and avocado toast were great. We also enjoyed their hot chocolate. It gets crowded, but we found a table upstairs. Good food and fast service. Walkable from the Notre Dame basilica.

    Solstice Avocado Toast

Stopped in for brunch. Food was excellent. We had the Solstice avocado toast with burrata and tomatoes and added a sunny side up egg. The presentation was beautiful although it needed a little salt and pepper. The croissant breakfast sandwich was excellent. We got it without the prosciutto so it had smashed avocado, sunny side up egg and Gruyère (I believe). This was hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have had. It came with a side salad which had a delicious vinaigrette dressing. My only knock on this place was the service set up. Four of us spent about $150 for brunch. I don't mind paying that for a great meal, which it was. For that price point, it would have been nice to have someone seat you and take your order instead of having to find a table and then go back down 2 floors to the counter to order. Apparently other locations have table service. Bottom line, food was delicious and I would definitely go again.

    Perle Sandwich

I know that this place is just a chain coffee shop but the vibes are actually impeccable. I didn't know Montreal's coffee scene is so strong, and I really loved all the cafes I've been to and this one was a great representation of the culture. We were able to easily find a table for 3 at around 10am on a weekend, but coming in 30 minutes later you might have to wait. I ordered a Perle Sandwich and it was genuinely quite good. I was a bit worried that there wouldn't be that much food and I wouldn't feel full when they first brought the plate over, but it was actually delicious and filling. I loved all the bits of vegetables in the tuna salad which went very well with the bread. The salad on the side was great too. I think though what was more impressive was the interior and how all these different types of furniture items came together into one cohesive unit. It was both botanical but also vintage vibes. Definitely a great place to spend in the morning.

Small corner shop with a second floor seating and mid tier seating area. It feels quite cozy inside. Large autumn latte (three shots of espresso) with oat milk sounds good for my hubby, less the whipped cream and cinnamon toast, cereal. Grabbed a large autumn latte, chocolate drizzle and pistachio croissant and the last Nutella cronut. C$20.70 We ordered to go, but the latte was put into a mug, while the cronut had the chocolate croissant were put into wax paper. The Nutella all comes off of the Cronut in the wax bag. Annoying. :( would be better to have the Nutella inside the Cronut. The Cronut is not so good, the dough seems like it's old and stale and rather hard too. The Nutella is the better part of this stale Cronut. The chocolate drizzle is so-so, the croissant isn't that buttery, flaky pastry you expect at all. It's quite dense and the inside is soft and mushy from the rather sparse dusting of pistachio nuts. Their pastries are quite overrated. The autumn latte was just average. Nothing special. They don't even try to fancy up the top of your latte at all, may as well not even bother. Service is quick, hardly any real interface.

I went here twice during my recent trip to Montreal. Once to pick up a chocolate croissant and matcha latte to go (both amazing) and then again for brunch with a group of 10. It's a cute space and the menu has a nice range of salads, sandwiches, and other brunch items. The service was overall pretty quick considering that it was fairly busy and we had a large group. The only downside was that the tables are tiny, so it was tough making room for everyone's plates and drinks. I ordered the lox toast which was super filling, with a generous portion of lox, capers, and red onions. Overall, it's a cute brunch spot and the food is solid!

    Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup

While visiting Montreal, I made a point of stopping by this café after bookmarking it on Google. The cute decor and positive reviews had already caught my attention. Parking was difficult to find, so we ended up walking quite a bit after leaving the car. I loved the café's corner location, which gave it a charming vibe, especially with the staircase leading up to it. The layout was unique, with multiple levels and scattered seating, although it was tricky to find space for our group of four and we eventually split into pairs. We tried several items. The iced matcha latte with vanilla wasn't the strongest I've had, but the flavor was still enjoyable. The lavender latte was a pleasant surprise, carrying the lavender notes beautifully without being overpoweringly floral. The matcha cookie quickly became a favorite. It was so good that we went back to grab the last one. While I wished for a slightly stronger matcha flavor, the texture was perfect and the sweetness level just right. It just really hit the spot. The Avococo was another delicious pick, with well-balanced flavors. The grilled cheese was tasty but small and a bit plain (they could use more cheese and maybe even a variety of types), while the tomato soup served alongside was creamy, herb-forward, and flavorful, though also quite small for the price. Overall, everything we tried tasted great, the service was friendly, and the café itself is beautifully decorated and unique. That said, the price point is a bit higher than I'm used to, especially considering the portion sizes.

Latte glacé & chocolate pistachio croissant
    Kate S.

Solid 3. + really good pistachio chocolate croissant + latte glacé + cute ambiance +/- super busy - they don't take names or give you a number and soooo many people are waiting for drinks. Some guy (who ordered after me) grabbed my drink before I could get it, DRANK OUT OF IT, realized it wasn't what he ordered, then set it back on the bar! The barista was so busy we could never get her attention to make me a new drink, which ended up taking 20 minutes. Ugh. - on top of ^^^, they forgot to make the Cortado we ordered Maybe our visit was a fluke, but there has to be a better streamlined system.

Avocado toast with cucumbers and falafel

Very cute spot with friendly service and yummy food/drinks! I had the avocado toast with cucumbers, pickled onion, cabbage and falafel. Now the falafel wasn't great and I didnt expect it to be. It was hard and dry and didn't taste fresh at all but I still enjoyed my dish. I also had a lavender matcha latte which was very tasty! A great brunch spot overall

Salmon bagel sandwich and an americano coffee

I had the salmon bagel sandwich which was pretty tasty though it could have used more salmon. I also had an americano which was good. A little expensive, like 35 cad.

I'm obsessed with this coffee shop! Note: this review is only on drinks. ***LOCATION*** This charming coffee shop and cafe is located right next to the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal aka the top tourist attraction in the city. However, this spot somehow still manages to have a local feel to it. ***EXPERIENCE*** My partner and I had a fantastic time at this coffee shop. We wanted to find a spot to have the money date and couldn't have found a better one. We were able to find seating upstairs and for it to be pretty intimate and somewhat private. There were a lot of people (as it was a Saturday), but something about the seating makes it feel still spacious. When you first walk in, it feels like there is a stage with seating. It's a beautifully designed coffee shop with a lot of yummy natural lighting. I ordered a mocha and it was probably the best mocha I've ever had. I'm still dreaming about the rich cocoa they used in it and the fresh coffee. It was divine. My partner really enjoyed his coffee too. They have food options, but we didn't get food on this visit. The avocado toast looks pretty yummy. ***PRICE*** My mocha was about $8. ***BATHROOM*** There were two gender neutral restrooms upstairs. I liked that the sink was outside and the stalls were just the toilets. ***CONCLUSION*** If you are looking for a delicious mocha, I highly recommend checking this spot out.

    Athena add chicken

I'm conflicted on what to rate this place. I ordered the Greek toast called the Athena and added chicken. It was delicious, the staff was friendly and service was great. I'm just not sure it was worth the cost.

I ordered my raspberry and custard danish to pair with my Americano coffee... but I also wanted something more substantial so I went with the pancetta. Well, I thought I was ordering the pancetta, when I pointed at the item with the sign for it, it was actually a ham and cheese croissant...but until they served it I didn't know that's what I had pointed to. When I questioned it that it didn't look like pancetta they said that people always mix that up... I guess maybe they ought to display it differently, but they happily made me the pancetta and I took it to go because at that point I had already bit into the ham and cheese and that along with the danish and coffee, it was enough for then... They didn't charge me for the pancetta! That was NICE, so I gave them an extra tip in the jar, because they were very gracious about it. The danish was very good and went nicely with the coffee. I enjoyed my window seat overlooking the street (until the bee came....) Later, when I went to eat the pancetta, I unwrapped it and found it to be barely filled with any meat, but certainly plenty of greens. It wasn't pleasant, so I didn't really take but a couple bites before throwing that away. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, if that's how it normally comes. Overall I'd go again and order the danish and coffee. The ham and cheese was actually pretty good too. But I'd be careful on the pancetta.. maybe it was a one-off situation.

We ordered a hot chocolate, cappuccino, tiramisu, and an affogato, and every single item exceeded expectations. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overly sweet -- pure comfort in a cup. The cappuccino was perfectly brewed with bold espresso flavor and beautifully textured milk, exactly how a great Italian-style coffee should be. The highlight of our visit, without question, was the affogato. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The pistachio gelato was unbelievably creamy, nutty, and flavorful, and when paired with the hot espresso, it created an unforgettable balance of temperature and taste. It was truly out of this world and worth the visit on its own. To finish, the tiramisu was light, perfectly layered, and not overpowering -- a flawless end to an already incredible experience. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and authentic. Café Olimpico isn't just a café -- it's an experience. Exceptional quality, consistency, and passion in every cup and dessert. There was also a touch of sweetness in the sauce that cut through the richness in the best way. Every bite was perfectly balanced.
