I never had a chance to try this dessert restaurant. I had a delivery recently and I like all the items we got. I will order more from them. I highly recommend the egg waffles. I believe it's Hong Kong style. It has its crust and tender inside. I had the one more savoury and also sweet too, with seaweed. I like it. The other three items are also very tasty.

I always like trying different items on the menu of Zoe, they offer great bubble tea, desserts and Asian snacks. I particularly love all the drinks that contain mango, because Zoe puts a lot of fresh mango inside the cup, instead of artificial mango powder, which tastes horrible. I like their Hong-Kong style waffle with ice-cream and mille-crêpe cakes (they have a variety of flavours and I think matcha is my favorite). The last time I went there they only offer take-outs. In summer, you can use their terrace and sit there to sip your bubble tea. Highly recommended!

I came here to fix my craving for hong kong style egg waffles, but I would say I am a tiny disappointed. Yes, the ice cream egg waffle is definitely appealing to the eyes (and it looks great in pictures!) but the taste of the comfy warm egg waffle is lost and drained by the over-powering flavour of the ice cream. The plant pot tiramisu, on the other hand, is delicious and creative! The shovel spoon is a very cute addition! 3/5 for the waffles, 4/5 overall for the coziness.

We love coming here during the summer to cool down with a nice dessert. The menu ranges from $5-$10 but I highly recommend you share since the desserts are pretty large. The have lots of cases of mangos along the back wall so you know it's definitely worth trying anything with mango in it. It's a great place for a date or with friends.

My friend/co-worker's shaved ice dessert dish
    Jim P.

A friend/co-worker and I decided to grab a bite to eat after a meeting. We were originally going to grab a bite to eat someplace else but because of work, I had a late lunch and wasn't really hungry but wouldn't mind having something sweet. We decided to drop by here. The place is very small but we were seated immediately when we showed up. As we looked at the menu, I made my decision on what I wanted as did she and when the server returned, I asked for one of the desserts but was told that they either didn't have it or ran out. I then decided to pick a mango type pie which they did have. I also asked for one of the teas on the menu and the server mentioned something which I didn't really catch except to understand that I couldn't have it for some reason or another. He pointed at the front counter and told me that I could order a tea from the front. I asked him if there was anything similar to what I wanted and he looked up at the front and then said they have something that is mango as well so I said okay. My friend ordered 2 dishes (an octopus dish and a chicken dish) and 1 dessert (a shaved ice dessert dish). I asked my friend/co-worker what the server said when I wanted to order my drink from their menu and she informed me that he said that this place merged with a tea place so they needed to update their menu and I couldn't order that option from the menu. The items came relatively quickly. I tried one piece from my friend's chicken dish and one piece from the octopus dish. The chicken was okay and the octopus dish was good. She also offered me a spoon of her shaved ice dish which I accepted. I thought it was good. In terms of what I ordered/got (drink and mango pie), I liked both. The drink that I was given seemed like a fruit drink or boba/bubble tea drinks but instead of the gelatinous/tapioca balls, there were big pieces of mango in it. Based on my experience, this place has good desserts/sweets but in terms of the regular food, I wasn't overly impressed by their deep fried chicken pieces and I thought that their octopus dish was good (not excellent or outstanding). Service was good. We finished and went to the counter to pay. They accepted credit cards. I would rate this place as 3.5 stars which I've rounded up to 4 stars.

    Vanilla layered crêpe cake

Everytime I pass by this place, many people are ordering. I'm not a sweet tooth guy but today I really felt like having dessert after my lunch. I went for the layered crêpe cake, very interesting texture. Now I can understand what all the fuzz is all about. Very good dessert. If you see the menu, everything is so creative. Great place I would day.

Had the Matcha Mille Crepe Cake- less sweet than other versions I've had but very good matcha flavor. The layers were well made. I feel that there could've been more cream to balance out the texture. Also had the longan hot drink- here you can adjust the sugar level which isn't always the case. M

Zoe's bubble tea where medium is large, and large is XXL. :'D I took their Okinawa Brown tea with regular sugar and regular ice. It's very well done, nothing more and nothing less. If you thinking of getting authentic bubble tea then here is the place to be. On top of that, they got tasty macha cakes or other flavours are also available. It's perfectly located about 30 secondes from metro Concordia, exit St-Mathieu. Only complain is from my friend who took a large milk tea and got an XXL haha.

    Potted plant tiramisu
    Xue L.

I've tried several items there and some were delicious while some were disappointing. The popcorn chicken was very flavorful and crispy and it one of my fave. The coconut milk dessert with different toppings was also very good. However, i was very disappointed with their lime soda which just tasted very sweet and their potted plant tiramisu that didn't taste like a tiramisu at all. The concept of it is very cute and creative, but it felt more like eating oreo crumbs than anything else. The best thing right now is that they added presotea to their menu so it gives more yummy options for drinks. The service is quick and the staff is nice as always. Next time I go back, I'll know what to order.

I believe this was their tiramisu crepe cake...yummm

Looking for dessert in Montreal? Look no further! Zoé is it. Located maybe (if that) 2 mins from Guy Concordia metro (Édicule Guy). Now I will say it is hidden, but you can still see it if it makes sense? Put it in your maps to not get lost. Now the more I write I'm noticing a pattern that I tend to find really small places to eat BUT they are worth it. Waffles with ice cream? YES! Crepe cake (with different flavors)? YOU BET! Tea? ABSOLUTELY! I found this place coming out of my favorite dumpling place in the same area and out of curiosity, I found my way there. Place is tight and small, so please be very mindful of that, but you know what? For the treats that you get, it's so worth it. If you're ever in the mood for something sweet and different then I would encourage you to try them:)

bubble waffle with black sesame ice cream!
    Stanley D.

Solid dessert place but with poor service at times. I have been to this place a few times already for dessert, and I always take the egg bubble waffle with black sesame ice cream. And it is always good! Granted that I have not tasted it anywhere else, this is a solid dessert. However, the service sometimes can be iffy. Last time I went, after we were seated, the waiter only took our order about 30-40 minutes after we sat down. While we did not mind it, I am sure the other customers waiting in line did not appreciate it!

    Mango sago!!

This dessert place is at a really convenient. Super close to Concordia, downtown, metro stops. At first look it doesn't seem like much, but the inside is very cozy and cute. Service is not the best you'll get , but the food makes up for it. Their mango sago was a little too sweet for my liking, but it's not something that would stop me from going back. Will definitely go back for their egg waffles and drinks soon!! Recently came back again and i tried their rose milk tea this time. I am in love with it. Of course i wouldn't come without ordering my mango sago again. Everything is still a little sweet in my opinion, but it's not a big deal. My friend also ordered the egg waffle, and he loved it, although i found it a little too crispy for my own liking. Service was really good, despite it being a busy and packed Saturday night. It is definitely my go to dessert place in Montreal now.

If you're looking for a Zen place where you can enjoy great conversation while eating some Asian dessert you must try. We shared the Black sesame ice cream ....hmmm!

Service-wise, it was great. Simple, fast, and ready with a bubble tea in your hand within a minute or two. The store is not a sit-down spot, but more of a small stall where you grab and go. I've been to several Chatime shops in the States, so I have an idea of what to expect and it's pretty much how Chatimes are rated in the States as well. We stopped by while going to nearby Old Montreal and happened to walk into Chinatown. I wanted to see what Chinatown in Montreal was like and truly got an idea for it. It's busy and all the stores are bustling and open crazy late -- just like this spot. This spot is open 24/7, which is unheard of in the other Chinatowns that I've been to in my life. We tried Presotea near our hotel so right away we had an idea of which bubble tea shop was considered higher-end/pricier. This spot was definitely for the cost-saving person who just wants a quick fix of bubble tea. The difference between the two is obvious. I ordered regular milk tea with the QQ topping. I like the QQ topping (which is nata de coco jelly with regular tapioca). It's half lychee jelly and half black pearls. The bubbles did not have the flavor that the Presotea bubbles had. Chatime is simply plain with no taste in their bubbles, which is fine. Tea-wise - I could not immediately tell the difference. However, in the end, each shop is meant for two different people.

The Mango Solar Bubble Tea was super refreshing -- the mango flavor was vibrant and real, not artificial at all. The bubbles were perfectly chewy and added a fun touch to every sip. It felt like sunshine in a cup! The Matcha Red Bean was a beautiful balance of earthy matcha and sweet red beans. The matcha wasn't bitter, and the creaminess paired so well with the chewy red bean bits. A must-try if you love authentic matcha drinks. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and unique flavors -- I'll definitely be back!

I was walking everywhere and when I came across Shuyi Tealicious en route to the nearby art museum it appeared like some sort of desert mirage. I've never been so eager for a boba drink as I was at that moment. As a regular reader of yelp reviews I come often upon those for tea/boba shops and it's always a mystery to me how anyone knows what to order. The menus in these type of places are just plain confusing for someone who doesn't regularly consume these drinks. Shuyi's is no exception. But here's a secret: based on my random order one can't go wrong here even if one has no idea what it is they're ordering. Here at Shuyi Tealicious I ordered up something with Strawberry and Boba and drank it while sharing a nearby bench with an amusing bronze sculpture. That drink was so satisfying that it was done before my stomach knew it and I had to fight an urge to head back inside for drink #2. Yes, I was that dehydrated. These drinks are extremely satisfying, especially if you don't want to be overfilled while staring at art for the next few hours. I might not know anything about this type of place but I did like it a lot and it served to satisfy my craving.

I love that because I hate paying $5-7 for a boba that is mostly milk tea and 1/3 ice cubes.
