I don't know what the fuss is all about but I wasn't impressed. I had better in California. Service was fast but the food is not something I would crave in the future

Tiny little spot in Chinatown but then we spotted another not even a block away. A huge variety of different types of tees and slushes with different toppings to add. Generous portions quick service.

Got a Regular Sakura Lychee Slush. Very pretty big, the regular size is a large at most other places and the large is even bigger. It was good, fresh lychee flavor, but a bit too sweet for me. Would recommend trying. The drink was also $10.47 which is more expensive than other bubble tea spots but size makes up for it!

As I was walking around Chinatown, I spotted Presotea. The shop looked so tiny and it had a few people lined up. I decided to check it out. Unlike the bubble tea places in the GTA, there are no spots for you to sit down and sip your drink in the store. You pay, take, and go. It's that compact. It was my first time at Presotea. I pulled the same stunt as my dad does when he is at a new place and can't figure out the sizes. He goes large. I didn't realize that I am slowly becoming my dad as I mature until I ordered a large mango lychee slush here. This drink was a whopping $9.14. It is the most expensive slush that I have every bought in my life! Was it worth it? I'd say yes. I paid using a credit card. The transaction was smooth. While waiting off to the right, I looked at the stacks of empty mango crates in neat columns. This place uses real fruit. I was happy. I looked at the toppings that you can get in your drinks. My drink had cubed mango in it. I saw the woman prepare my massive slush. Presotea uses a Vitamix. I got my drink. It was hefty! I took a sip and it was enjoyable. Although it was hot that evening in Montreal, I felt the need to be on a beach, under palm trees, sipping it. Instead, I casually walked around the area, took my drink to Complexe Desjardins to take in the water fountain, and took it back to my room to continue sucking it down. I took me the following day to drink it all. It was delicious. I loved the fresh taste of mango combined with the lychee. The chunks of mango in the drink created interest with each sip. I have learned that I do not need a large size. However, I can say that it tastes good hours after it is made. Just make sure that you refrigerate it if you do! (314)

Amidst the bustling street of chinatown were two stores of Presotea that had lines forming outside of the store. I was not disappointed with this brown sugary sweet drink. The boba was certainly chewy but the milk tea itself did taste a but watered down. The brown sugar syrup didn't add much to the drink but it's a good size considering it was a medium.

I love my boba so while walking around Montreal, I happened to pass by Presotea in Chinatown and it caught my eye. It's a small stand so there's always a line. I actually didn't think to stop the first time I passed by it since long lines are a turn off for me. However, I passed by it again in the evening and it was so hot that I needed a drink for my walk back to the hotel and figured it must be good since people kept waiting here all day. The other thing about the line and why it's so long is probably because it just moves so slow. There were probably no more than 10 people in front of me but it still accounted for about a 20-30 min wait... Anyways aside from the wait, they have a series of mango drinks which seems to be their signature item. They also had the brown sugar milk and other typical flavors you would see at other boba shops. However, I opted for their regular mango slush and it was delicious! They make it with fresh mangoes (evidence from the cases of mangos they have) and it even comes with mangos as the topping. All this for a regular size which was about $5 usd. Trust me a regular is enough - their large is humongous! The regular lasted me my whole walk back downtown and I still had some by the time I got back to my hotel. I can see what the hype is and why there is a line here now haha!

Possibly the best bubble tea in Canada IMO! Definitely has outmatched rival Cha time in all aspects. Specialty menu centered around mango. The mango with coconut slush with aloe vera is amazing, must taste!!! Another must taste is the #32 passion fruit green tea with lime, aloe Vera and basil seed!!! *No space to sit and enjoy the drink... just carry out

In Montreal, if there is a line, you get on it because it must be good. My family and I first walked by and there were about 30+ people on line. Mind you, it was 30 degrees and freezing and these people still wanted a cold drink! After lunch, we walked by again and there was about 10 people on line and we decided to wait and get a drink. My cousin had this before and it was her favorite bubble tea place in the area. I had the fresh mango yogurt slush and it was the best drink ever. I've had my fair share of drinks in NY and Presotea is definitely my all time favorite. I wish they have one in NY! The mango was so fresh and sweet. I had the medium size and it was huge for less than $5USD. SO WORTH IT! I can't wait to come back to Montreal for this!

Absolutely awesome Mango Green tea bubble tea. Cost: $9.49 for a large size. Very refreshing on a hot day and the pearls were surprisingly good as well!! Great service and located right in Montreal's Chinatown. I'll be back and I for sure recommend!

FRESH MANGO DRINKS AND BOBA. What more could you want out of life!? I've had waaay more than my fair share of boba in my lifetime and always love trying new boba shops - and Presotea has definitely made it into my Hall of Fame for boba places. At face value their boba seems like it comes in on the pricier side, however you get a lot for what you pay for. Their regular sized drinks are as big as a large (if not bigger) in other boba places. They have a variety of options but what they're known for are their signature fresh mango blended drinks. I got their M1 with bubbles, which is their classic mango slush. This is one of the freshest boba drinks I've had in awhile. They blend the mango right in front of you and while the drink is smooth, there are still a few small chunks of mango at the bottom of your drink to remind you that it's fresh. OK onto the other star of the drink: the actual boba/bubbles. The boba had great texture and flavor. The boba had a good buoyancy to them - it was firm enough to hold their shape and provides a bit of resistance when you bite into them but still soft on the inside. They were the right level of sweetness without being too overpowering. 5/5 If you're in the Chinatown area and had to choose one boba place to stop by, let it be Presotea. You won't regret it. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys mangos or even smoothies.

Good tea but a little sweet. The service is fast and the ambiance is nice. The medium size is more like a large, than a medium.

The earl grey boba was the best boba I have ever had. I will say the location is small and awkward to order in.

The Short Version: Bubble tea kiosk inside this mini food…read morehall in Old Montreal. I was shocked that in this touristy area I was able to score a bubble tea for $3.99. It was good too. The Long Version: I love bubble tea and always endeavour to try new bubble tea places whether at home or on vacation. One Babo was founded in Montreal, QC. I only later learned (after my visit) that it used to be called One More Thé, which was famous for its fat and short cups. I had bubble tea at One More Thé when they had a location in Les Cours Mont-Royal and I enjoyed it. Anyway, the One Babo location I went to no longer uses short fat cups, but just regular cups and they are paper which is the trend these days. Great for the environment, so I support, but less photogenic for sure, lol. The straw was plastic so it pierced the lid easily and I didn't make a mess which I always do with paper straws. I ordered at the ordering kiosk and was surprised to see they had promotional drinks for only $3.99. Well, I was all over that. Haha. I looked at the different varieties and they had a dragon fruit tea with green tea popping boba, which is what I got. I wanted zero sugar and less ice but there wasn't an option to indicate this at the kiosk, but the staff member said I could let her know the modifications and she would make it accordingly. When you say no sugar here, it truly is no sugar! I have found that at most bubble tea shops their base tea is already somewhat sweet so even when I order no sugar, it's still sweet, but not here. The tea was completely unsweetened even a bit bitter. My bad, lol. The popping boba added a splash of sweetness, but in the future, knowing what I know now, I will get a quarter sweet. I still enjoyed the drink and it had a potent tea flavour which I liked. Service was pleasant and the staff pointed out to me that the print on the cup was an Old Montreal landscape since their location is in Old Montreal. What a nice touch. This location is inside a mini food hall called Le Coin Gourmand. Other businesses in the food hall are Hectare Cafe (a Carribean coffee shop), Mel'Oui (a sandwich shop) and Quan An (a Vietnamese restaurant). In addition to bubble tea, they also sell food. I'll need to return to try their food and check out the other businesses (my husband did get a coffee at Hectare Cafe while I was at One Babo, but I want to try their Haitian pastries). Oh and I'll gladly try another drink at One Babo. Hopefully they continue to have some at promotional prices, lol. Review #211 (2025)

Service-wise, it was great. Simple, fast, and ready with a bubble tea in your hand within a minute or two. The store is not a sit-down spot, but more of a small stall where you grab and go. I've been to several Chatime shops in the States, so I have an idea of what to expect and it's pretty much how Chatimes are rated in the States as well. We stopped by while going to nearby Old Montreal and happened to walk into Chinatown. I wanted to see what Chinatown in Montreal was like and truly got an idea for it. It's busy and all the stores are bustling and open crazy late -- just like this spot. This spot is open 24/7, which is unheard of in the other Chinatowns that I've been to in my life. We tried Presotea near our hotel so right away we had an idea of which bubble tea shop was considered higher-end/pricier. This spot was definitely for the cost-saving person who just wants a quick fix of bubble tea. The difference between the two is obvious. I ordered regular milk tea with the QQ topping. I like the QQ topping (which is nata de coco jelly with regular tapioca). It's half lychee jelly and half black pearls. The bubbles did not have the flavor that the Presotea bubbles had. Chatime is simply plain with no taste in their bubbles, which is fine. Tea-wise - I could not immediately tell the difference. However, in the end, each shop is meant for two different people.

The Mango Solar Bubble Tea was super refreshing -- the mango flavor was vibrant and real, not artificial at all. The bubbles were perfectly chewy and added a fun touch to every sip. The matcha wasn't bitter, and the creaminess paired so well with the chewy red bean bits. A must-try if you love authentic matcha drinks. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and unique flavors -- I'll definitely be back!
