Always drive by this place but never tried until covid hit since it is hard to find a parking spot in the neighborhood. Ordered 2 banh mi and when I taste them, it didn't taste like chicken and beef like I ordered. I remembered seeing pictures of Buddhist gathering and realized this was a vegetarian place. Good vegetarian options! Although it didn't taste like meat, flavour was still pretty good and refreshing. Given the fact that most places raised their prices due to Covid-19, seems like their pricing is still pretty good. Around $4.50-$5 for a banh mi. They also serve soups and other dishes over the weekend.

Boulevard St. Laurent was completely shut down for the Mural Festival so while we were wandering up and down the street, I kept an eye out for Sapa, which a local had recommended to me. They weren't open when we first walked by but we window shopped hard. Tropical ice cream meaning Asian flavours! How can you say no to that? Hours are kind of random. Closed Monday but everything else is 1:00pm to 8:00pm. I assume they'll change this once they sort out the kinks. Menu. There's Vietnamese iced coffees you can get with ice cream. Sounds like a magical combo. Lucky we did recon beforehand because the raspberry lychee wasn't in the display case when we came back and were trying samples. We asked one of the workers and turns out they were prepping a new batch. After careful deliberation, we settled on two but there's lots of interesting Asian flavours. Pandan, yuzu, corossol and ginger to name a few. - Raspberry lychee and passionfruit ($3.85 double scoop cup) - we shared a double scoop of raspberry lychee and passionfruit. Both were very light, refreshing and full of flavour. Good consistency although it started to melt as we headed towards the metro. My favourite of the two was the raspberry lychee. Next time I would try their soft serve but this was a great spot to grab a quick cone. Perfect for some dessert if you're on busy boulevard St. Laurent.

Lovely place that serves lots of original ice cream flavours (nutella, Vietnamese coffee, ginger, pandan, etc). They also serve soft serve ice cream (chocolate, vanilla). The staff is super nice and helpful. It's a family owned place and their daughter said they wanted to bring an asian taste to ice cream. I got the nutella ice cream and it tasted pretty close to the same thing. The flavour was rich and creamy an the consistency was great! I wasn't afraid the ice cream was going to slip off the cone. It doesn't look like much but it is really a gem. Go try it out! PS: Cash only for now

Service-wise, it was great. Simple, fast, and ready with a bubble tea in your hand within a minute or two. The store is not a sit-down spot, but more of a small stall where you grab and go. I've been to several Chatime shops in the States, so I have an idea of what to expect and it's pretty much how Chatimes are rated in the States as well. We stopped by while going to nearby Old Montreal and happened to walk into Chinatown. I wanted to see what Chinatown in Montreal was like and truly got an idea for it. It's busy and all the stores are bustling and open crazy late -- just like this spot. This spot is open 24/7, which is unheard of in the other Chinatowns that I've been to in my life. We tried Presotea near our hotel so right away we had an idea of which bubble tea shop was considered higher-end/pricier. This spot was definitely for the cost-saving person who just wants a quick fix of bubble tea. The difference between the two is obvious. I ordered regular milk tea with the QQ topping. I like the QQ topping (which is nata de coco jelly with regular tapioca). It's half lychee jelly and half black pearls. The bubbles did not have the flavor that the Presotea bubbles had. Chatime is simply plain with no taste in their bubbles, which is fine. Tea-wise - I could not immediately tell the difference. However, in the end, each shop is meant for two different people.

The Mango Solar Bubble Tea was super refreshing -- the mango flavor was vibrant and real, not artificial at all. The bubbles were perfectly chewy and added a fun touch to every sip. It felt like sunshine in a cup! The Matcha Red Bean was a beautiful balance of earthy matcha and sweet red beans. The matcha wasn't bitter, and the creaminess paired so well with the chewy red bean bits. A must-try if you love authentic matcha drinks. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and unique flavors -- I'll definitely be back!

I was walking everywhere and when I came across Shuyi Tealicious en route to the nearby art museum it appeared like some sort of desert mirage. I've never been so eager for a boba drink as I was at that moment. As a regular reader of yelp reviews I come often upon those for tea/boba shops and it's always a mystery to me how anyone knows what to order. The menus in these type of places are just plain confusing for someone who doesn't regularly consume these drinks. Shuyi's is no exception. But here's a secret: based on my random order one can't go wrong here even if one has no idea what it is they're ordering. Here at Shuyi Tealicious I ordered up something with Strawberry and Boba and drank it while sharing a nearby bench with an amusing bronze sculpture. That drink was so satisfying that it was done before my stomach knew it and I had to fight an urge to head back inside for drink #2. Yes, I was that dehydrated. These drinks are extremely satisfying, especially if you don't want to be overfilled while staring at art for the next few hours. I might not know anything about this type of place but I did like it a lot and it served to satisfy my craving.

I got their new product "happy taro milk tea" which comes pre-assembled with smashed taro chunks, taro balls, oats, and sago. It was very tasty. This boba shop prides themself in making sure they add enough ingredients/toppings in each drink and also give you the option to do less ice. I love that because I hate paying $5-7 for a boba that is mostly milk tea and 1/3 ice cubes.
