Just picked up a CCW bike and brought it back to Vermont. I love the bike. That meant I had lots of questions and needed help with paperwork, etc. They were great. CCW's competitive advantage is its design of the bikes. It sources from Asia and selects parts so that the bikes can be maintained by riders. I looked at the Honda 300F - another nice bike- but it could not compete with CCW's design. Highly recommended. Update 4 months later: I rode the bike all summer -almost 1,000 miles. Lots of fun and no issues at all. I'm about to put it away for the winter and wanted to share the positive experience. Note: At about 500 miles (break-in), the manual recommends a valve adjustment. I had this done at the local shop and it was $80. I changed the oil myself and that was easy. Very happy with the bike- thanks CCW!

I was riding through Cleveland on my way cross-country. My chain links had been seizing causing…read moregrinding on my sprocket... but I had to get to a wedding on the East Coast and didn't have time for the typical 1-2 week backlog. The owner, John, offered to diagnose my bike minutes before closing... insisted on staying late that night to look at all repair scenarios and get quotes for each... and also insisted on double-checking everything the next day before ordering parts (on his day off) and having them overnighted. He had my bike all torn apart and waiting for the delivery truck. Within two hours of the parts arriving, the next morning, he had me back on the road and safely on my way to the wedding. I can't say enough about the owner, John. I could tell right off that his dogged determination was a product of his passion for his work... insisting that he was just treating me the way he wanted to be treated. John, I made it to the wedding safely. 3,000 mi down, and 7,000 to go. Thank you.

Specific cases of people getting the shaft. Feeling mistrusting with this shop. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Took a bike here for a grinding noise and the shop replaced BOTH rotors and charged for parts and labor to only have the grinding still remain. I'll be taking this up for a third attempt to actually have the issue addressed this week. Also noticed that they phish for business when you arrive. Not sure if they are hurting for the business?? Red flag?

There are usually two guys working behind the counter, the day I went, there was one guy, I asked him to order me 2 inner tie rods and he ordered me 2 OUTER TIE RODS! So I went to another store and purchased what I needed because I could not make it more clear to the guy what I needed and he acted like he knew more than I did and he wasn't the one working on my truck. He's one of those guys. I cancelled the order and the gentlemen was visibly annoyed. Which he shouldn't be, he ordered the wrong part and I got the right part at a better price. The second time I went to the store the same guy was there and I asked him for grease. He said all he had was wheel bearing grease. TWO SECONDS LATER, Charlie Calanni Jr. walks in and I tell him my dilemma and he talks to the guy and VOILA!, they walk back into the warehouse and get the RIGHT grease that I needed. Obviously, this guy IS RACIST and DOES NOT PROVIDE PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will NEVER GIVE MY BUSINESS TO THEM EVER AGAIN! I informed the other gentlemen of the situation, exactly as it happened, and told him that I would NEVER be coming back. He told me to wait and he would talk to the guy and I said this is the second time he has provided POOR SERVICE and I would not wait to hear his "excuses" for being racist. I would rather drive to Brookpark than down the street to Lake Erie. The people seem a little more friendlier. I like to be able to talk about modifications to my bike with out some one making a hard sale to purchase parts. Willing to share experience and make suggestions. I also do not like the high power sales tactics on purchasing a new bike. Really, I have a few. I do not need a new bike. If the want to do some thing for me convince my boss to let me have more time off to ride. If not fix the traffic in to Cleveland so I can ride all summer long. I do have to say that the prices are bit higher than what I can purchase parts with shipping cheaper at some of the larger online stores. I know that working on bikes requires special skills. But some of the modifications do not require special skills. I think the cost of labor should be tiered based off the type of work being done.

Parts and accessories available is overwhelming.
