They cited that their shop has been sued multiple times in the past Which makes me wonder what they have done to be sued so many times that they had to create a policy. The gentleman behind the desk and one of the mechanics suggested that I lie in the future about having done any work on my car so they are actually promoting lying and dishonest acts Which further makes me worry about and wonder about their integrity and adds Creedence to the fact that they have been sued multiple times. I would highly recommend trying somewhere else and not doing any business with this place. My father and brother were mechanics and I grew up around a garage and it is worrisome and unethical to turn down work out of fear of being sued again. There are plenty of other garages in the area. BUYER BEWARE. I purchased four "new" Michelin tires from these folks on eBay. One developed a…read moresidewall bulge, they said that's from hitting something, I guess it could be, but when I bought a local replacement tire in Colorado where I live, I found out I have excessive wear on all four tires after only 1,000 miles and two months of having these tires on the car. The email I sent to Used Tire House and their response is included below. Selling five year old tires as "new" is not right, and they will do NOTHING to make it right. My email: HERE'S MY ISSUE: I had to buy one new tire due to sidewall damage. I bought these tires from you as "new" in Dec 2017. It turns out these tires were manufactured in 2013, they have been on the car for 1,000 miles and they are already down to 8/32" fronts and 9/32" at best on the rears. I guess that old rubber wears quickly? I am asking for some sort of compensation from your company. I'm thinking $145.00 ( the price of one tire), is a reasonable refund given these facts. Their response: We are really sorry, but there is nothing that we can do in this issue, because bulb you have on a tire is a physical damage and our warranty as we said only 30 days.
