This place pretty much has everything I need and the staff has always been friendly and extremely helpful with any questions I've had about my Jeep or products... On a sidenote, they also have a veterans discount so just make sure you ask for that. The hours of operation work with any schedule and the parking lot is actually easy to get in and out of on one of the busier streets in Lakewood. read more

I visited AutoZone to change my car battery in August 2023 and I had a smooth experience. The battery had never been changed before since buying my car in 2017, which was a new car, so it was time to change it. The store is big and they sell all sorts of items for vehicles including tires, car air fresheners, etc. SERVICE -- When I walked in, a gentleman assisted me in deciding which new battery to purchase then a service worker followed me outside where my car was parked to change my battery. The woman who changed my battery was very professional and she explained what she was doing. I asked her questions because I wanted to know how each step of the battery changing process worked. The whole process took about 5-10 mins. Almost a year later, my car is still running smoothly and I've had no issues with my battery. I immediately went to Auto Zone. It was dark and freezing outside. I went into the store and relayed my situation to Eric behind the counter. I also informed him of an off-and-on blinking brake light issue I was having on my steering wheel dash. He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. He came outside, checked my light situation out, and informed me it was the fog light. They couldn't do that there, but I could take it to my local auto shop, and it was a quick resolution they could take care of. He also ran a diagnostic on my auto, and nothing showed up with the brake light. I had explained to him a sensor engine blinking situation that I had 3-4 times in the past that was a Kia recall issue. I relayed to him that the brake sensor light issue started after Kia had my car for a couple of days and had given me a very hard time about the recall issue. He informed me of when they started working on the sensors (in mechanical terms) and how that might've triggered something, which made total sense. The diagnostic showed no issues with the brakes. Overall, I was satisfied with everything we discussed and pleased with the outstanding customer service I received from Eric. Absolutely great guys at this location! I went in on Saturday 1/18/25 after calling about possibly getting the wrong wiper blades for my car. I asked if I can come in and they could install them for me...they said absolutely. I brought in some cash to tip the gentleman, and he said "It's ok, we do this all the time." I always frequent this Autozone. There is advice, caring, personalized service consistently. I honestly haven't had even a mediocre experience here! Don't know what it is? They'll take you right over and offer opinions. Have a dreaded "check engine" light on? They'll hook up to your car's computer and you will get a printout with the explanation of the codes. They'll go over this with you and make sure you have a copy to be taken to your mechanic. If you are a do-it-yourselfer-and it's a minor issue (ie a sensor), they'll recommend as well. All the guys here (only 1X was a woman working-and she was great too) are clearly passionate about cars and want to help. If you're really lost (like me- as I am clueless with car mechnicals) they will walk out with you to your car and take a look. I have never ever felt a "hard sell" on any of their products, but they will give you some great recommendations. There were a couple older guys working there and they were funny and extremely knowledgeable. I know they aren't the lowest $ at times, but I will tell you, stellar customer service is always remembered - and I'm loyal when I feel I get treated with respect. Went to AutoZone for the first time to get my battery checked. The two gentlemen working this evening were fantastic. Showed me what they were doing, explained what the tester was showing as the results. Very helpful selecting a new battery and then changed the battery for me. Very pleasant doing so. Took me maybe 10 minutes from the time I parked till the time I left with my new battery. I really appreciate their help this evening!! Great service. read more

My husband and I went in because our left drivers side blinker was not working and assumed it was a fuse, but with Jason's amazing help we learned that it was a bulb. We are so grateful for Jason. He went over and beyond and came out to check our car, to make sure that's what it was and he was right. Then he took us inside and found us a pack of 2 bulbs for a great price of $8 and then came back outside to help us put it in and make sure it worked and it did! Not only did he genuinely want to help us, but his personality was awesome. We are so grateful and we even tried to tip him and he declined the tip and told us it was his pleasure to help us out. Now if we ever need to go back to an Auto zone, we will definitely be going to this location, since our experience was phenomenal. The least I could do is write a review for this Autozone! The man who helped me Mr. Sullivan, went above and beyond replacing my headlight bulbs.
