My massage therapist was great, though based on my cousins' feedback, a few of the female therapists were a bit hit-or-miss. Pricing felt fairly reasonable for the length of the massage sessions we received. The establishment itself was clean, but it was somewhat noisy due to its close proximity to a busy street like Bellaire, which slightly took away from the relaxation factor. After we finished and went to pay, I noticed a $5 surcharge for card payments. I'm not sure what the charge was for, but I do wish it had been disclosed more clearly upfront. Older review for the 5 stars, can't speak to this place now. Had been a customer since 2009 after discovering foot massages in Vietnam. Former owner was Peter and he was amazing. Some Vietnamese friends recommended the place. James was the best masseuse ever and he took over after Peter sold it. Hadn't been in a couple of years and reached out to schedule a massage with James, sadly he no longer works here and there is also another set of new owners now. Posting an update so others who went to see James know he's no longer here. I wound up scheduling at someplace else for my massage. But the new owner was nice and tried to find out if James ever still did massages there and he doesn't. read more

I came to Triple Tree for the first time in search of a halo spa and possible foot massage. While they do not have any scalp halo massage service, they do have some great package deals, which I took advantage of. Noticing their high ratings on Yelp I thought I might as well give them a try. They were friendly and non-judgmental, IYKYK, upon walking in, and I decided to go with the fresh special they had on a sign hanging at the entrance: which was a $55 foot soak and massage. The nice lady Sammi led me to a semi-private area where I soaked my feet and she 1 foot and leg at a time massaged the toes foot ankle up to the knee. It felt marvelous. Then she dried my feet and led me to a massage room and, had me remove my dress and bra leaving panties on face down on a table. The scalp neck and back massage felt wonderful. The lotion and oil used was not overly greasy and I felt like a new person afterwards. I tipped 20% and left a Google review at their request. I will definitely return! read more

Always a great experience. Been going here for years. It's located in Houston's popular Chinatown on the strip of Bellaire which can get very busy, especially during the weekend. Regardless of when you visit, there is plentiful parking and appointment availability. They often take walk-ins during the week, but I still recommend calling to make an appointment. They offer a punch card every time you visit to qualify for discounted future services. The facility is nice and clean offering various massage type of services for a good price. The ambiance is dark, with soothing music in the background inside each private room when getting a full body massage. They have a awesome male masseuse that does excellent deep tissue massages. If you're wanting a sports massage or deep tissue, just request a male masseuse. I get this service plus cupping for $60. Don't forget to tip your masseuse. Enjoy! read more

This is our go-to place for massage. They do very good job and the price is very decent. Sammy did my massage yesterday and boy! She was able to get all the knots on my neck and facial. Affordable massages, but I definitely didn't feel relaxed for a majority of the massage. Not sure if it was the type of massage I asked for, but I felt like I was at a chiropractor appointment. Essentially, the massage was not as soothing and relaxing as I thought it would be. My girlfriends and I paid $30 each for a 60 minute foot massage, which also includes a full body massage (face/scalp, arms, back, legs). After you check in the front, you are brought into the back area, which is quiet, dimly lit, with 2 massage chairs per section. A hot water tub is brought to your chair, where you can dip your legs into. If you are planning on getting the foot massage, plan on wearing clothes that allow you to expose your calves. Since I was wearing jeans that I could not roll up to my knees, I was given a pair of white boxer shorts to change into. Then the massage starts with the face/scalp massage first. Also, I wanted to mention that the massage is done over your clothes and the blanket they use to cover you. As for my experience, I was just a little confused during the massage because my finger, shoulder, and toe joints were pulled/popped, and my lower back and legs were getting stretched in all sorts of directions. I mean, it was fine and I didn't complain, but it wasn't really what I envisioned for myself walking in. Although my masseuse was very kind and respectful, his hands and clothes smelled like cigarettes. This made it very uncomfortable for me, especially while he was using his hands to massage my face. After the massage, my friends and I felt more beaten and battered rather than relaxed and loosened, as one normally would be after. In the end, I'm not sure if this is how all their foot massages go, but it was not what I wanted. Maybe their other massages are more comfortable, but I do not see myself coming back again. read more

There are so many locations like this in the area and they all have a different style. This particular massage was more of a sports massage that worked on some deep knots. I never experienced the previous owner but nor did I have any problems with how things were done now. The location was clean and the staff was friendly. Finding the right massage parlor is like finding the right man. Once you find the one that goes above and beyond your expectations, there's no need to slut yourself around to the other cheap, unsatisfying ones. Triple Tree Center dares to put itself in the heart of an area cluttered with many seemingly identical massage joints yet charge at least 5 to 10 dollars more. They're either crazy or confident. I say they're the latter. The first time I made an appointment I ended up having to cancel. There was no fuss, and they were very kind about it. Communication is no problem here. I requested two women for a couple's massage; I got two women (sounds simple enough... but, trust me, it's not). They were already set up and waiting for us when we arrived. The hot water for our feet was already by our chairs. They promptly set our belongings aside to get us ready for the massage. Instead of old sweaty towels, they use blankets to cover you. Instead of Equate baby lotion, they use a scented massage lotion. The ambiance is beyond any place in the Bellaire area, and it truly adds to the experience. The best part? Both of our masseuses were amazing. I've had good massages, but this was spectacular. i never wanted it to end. My boyfriend's was just as good. The staff here seems to be well learned in what they do. Each movement is made with intent. In any other massage parlor, you get your "foot" massage, then finish in the back on a real massage table. Here, there is no need to ruin the relaxation mid-massage. Their reclining chairs turn into massage tables and all you have to do is flip over and keep enjoying. This place is another fine example of how Yelp has never steered me wrong. They gave me a stamp card (visit 9 times, get the 10th free), and I plan to fill it before the end of January. I was a little skeptical at first, since they massage through your clothes (I'm used to laying on a table in my underwear! lol). I have to say that I am a fan. I felt super relaxed after my massage. We got the 60 minute Reflexology for $30 and I thought it was worth every penny! It is a foot massage, but they massage your entire body. I agree with one of the reviews. This place is not the same as it used to be when Peter was the owner. Everything has changed - was the best massage place to the worst. The masseuses are noisy and are always talking to each other while giving massages. The more they talk, the less you get a good and quality massage. It's supposed to be a quiet place, where customers can relax while getting a massage. It's time to find a better massage place. read more

Peter, the previous owner, sold Triple Tree to a Chinese owner. The facility has now changed; it is no longer super quiet, organized, aromatherapy smelling, nor clean. The layout inside has changed, and my masseuse even picked up his phone towards the last 5 minutes of the feet massage. For male masseuse, James, a bald guy, is really good. I can't speak for the women - haven't found one I like. Anyway, we won't be returning since the facility changed owners. Furthermore, I had an experience where the other Chinese male masseuse was touching me in places that made me feel uncomfortable. It is hard for me to say something because I wasn't sure if that is part of the massage. Afterwards, I asked my mom if she was touched in those places, and James did not touch her there. I decided to tell the receptionist, and she told me that she will ask the same guy who groped me (*eyeroll* like that is going to do anything, what an idiot). So there you have it, they don't care about you, ladies. Either choose a woman or James - you have been forewarned about the other Chinese guy. read more

Not what I expected. My lady was two aggressive felt like I was just getting beat up. Went with my girlfriend and we both agree that there was no "TLC" (Tender Love Care). I kept repeatedly explaining to my Masseuse where I was hurting the most and she just never paid attention and kept telling her not so hard because she was creating friction between her hands and my body by how fast she was going. Also it was very noisy ever 10 minutes it was a worker or customer making a lot of noise and making it an unpleasant experience. When it came to paying I was not going to leave a tip but they insistedand demanded a tip I didn't argue I gave the ladies a tip for their time but first and last time my girlfriend and I ever come here. I had a great time at Tripe Tree Center today! I came in with tight shoulder and upper back pain, but by the end of the service, I could turn my head left and right easily. The service is very nice, relaxing and restoring. Highly recommended to people who are spending a lot of time working before the desk, great way to maintain physical health.
