They had a last minute opening with Amy and for a great price I got a one hour Swedish massage. The office space is clean and well managed, front desk staff is friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite spas in the Houston area for massages. There are many offerings from foot massages, deep tissue massages, hot stones, aromatherapy, etc etc etc. You can book online, choose your masseuse, pick a day/time, choose a treatment, duration, and much more The space is always immaculate. The staff is very friendly and professional. I've never had a bad massage experience here. The masseuses are extremely skilled in what they do, and they are attentive to ensure you are having a good experience and that you are getting value out of your visit Along those lines, I find the services provided at Cloud 9 are very affordable. They used to offer a slight discount if you paid with cash, but I'm not sure if they still do. And occasionally they run deals/discounts Some tips: I would book at least 1 hr of a massage. While I think their entire staff is mostly like exceptional, I usually book Amy. She is great! And I recently had Jenny who was also excellent. It is my first time at this massage place in the medical center but a close friend had recommended it. It was a little tricky to find the building because it has the name Dental Associates on it but there is a small Cloud 9 business sign on a wired fence next to the parking lot. I was immediately greeted and had to fill out an easy intake form on my phone. I chose to do an 80 min foot and deep tissue massage with any female therapist and it provides a private room. There is a community room for the foot massages only. I was assigned to Amy who was nice and made me feel comfortable. The deep pressure was good for my upper body but she quickly adjusted to less pressure for my lower body as requested. I appreciated her checking in with me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable with her pressure. I did feel cold at times so a heated table would have been nice but the warm towels helped a lot! At the end, I was offered hot tea or water. The hot tea was very smoothing afterwards. The check out was simple and cash tip is preferred. I definitely can't wait to return for another experience! read more

A friend recommended Cloud 9 and it is a find! When looking into booking, I couldn't find their prices listed. I called and the staff was very friendly and helpful with listing out their prices for me. I opted for the 60 minute deep tissue full body massage. My appointment was booked for around the time they opened and I was grateful that their doors were open and I was able to check in before my scheduled time (about 10 minutes before). My only feedback was that it was a little hard for me to find. Parking is in the back lot and the building says "Dental Associates". I did ultimately notice a Cloud 9 banner indicating I found the right place. The massage was great, zero complaints. I am very curious to try their foot massage and will be back! read more

Cloud 9 is by far my favorite place to get a massage. The therapists here are incredible. Jenny is my preferred therapist but I've had others too and you really can't go wrong. The atmosphere is relaxing, quiet, and clean. You won't find spa amenities here, and this isn't the type of place where you'd spend the day. I booked a 60 minute massage for myself and my husband. He received the Swedish tissue massage and I got a deep tissue massage. Both my masseuse and his were professional and did a good job identifying tension areas. The front desk staff was also courteous. Overall, it was a great experience for the price. Of note (which they state on their website as well), their massage times have time to disrobe built in, so it is not a full 60 minute massage. read more

The massage overall was very good. However, we drew on a white board the areas we wanted extra attention and those to avoid. Neither was paid any attention to. Also, not just here but massage in general, you pay for 80-90 minutes and the actual massage is less than 60 minutes. Just saying. The appointment call and check in were exceptional. read more

We love this place! Front desk is always friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. It is clean and makes me feel at ease. This was our second couples massage here. Never disappoints. My Swedish massage was with Linda and my husband had a deep tissue with Melody. Both ladies were friendly, professional, and gave a fanastic massage. They have soothing music playing and use soft voices when asking about pressure. Great at listen if something needs adjusting or needs more attention. When the massage is over and you head to the front desk, someone is waiting to offer you cold water. We left feeling calm, relaxed, and just feeling great. I have been to Cloud 9 dozens of times in the years since they opened. Although the menu offerings have expanded in recent years (full body massage, foot/body combo, aromatherapy, etc...) the massage service has seemingly gone downhill. In the past, your assigned therapist would ask which area(s) you would like to target or avoid before the beginning your session (even in the "foot" massage room, which includes a lite full body work-up). Now most therapists simply go through the motions, and employee turnover is quite high (which very well could be the norm in this industry.) This has all been fine with me considering Cloud 9's prices are competitive compared with custom massage studio pricing, and making a reservation is easy. Even walk-ins are typically accommodated quickly. With all of that said, my most recent massage was especially lackluster. I barely felt any pressure. When my therapist massaged my feet, her touch was so gentle I felt it more ticklish than relaxing. I spent the entire portion trying to control my reflexes from kicking her. I left feeling like I'd wasted an hour of my free time, feeling no better than when I'd arrived, with less money to my name. As they say, you get what you pay for. read more

I booked & pre-paid for my 40/40 deep tissue massage. Once I arrived & checked in the receptionist right away made sure to tell me to tip in cash. I felt that was rude, right off 1st thing walking in. Next, once I was greeted & walked to the main open room, I questioned if my massage wasn't a full body nake massage? So my lady went for Californication. Once, she came back, she stated she would be doing the foot massage 1st, then move to another room. I didn't care for having to get up & carry my belongings on that cold floor to another room up to the front. To both our surprise, the room was left dirty. So she was rushed changing out the sheets. I felt, she was rushed due to time. The massage it self was just okay, nothing relaxed about my whole ordeal. Now the room part, was out of her control, but being that I paid for 80 minutes. I didn't get my whole 80, with all the delays. My appointment was at 7:30 & I was getting dressed by 8:50. Once I walked out the room, she handed me a small cup of water. I asked if I could get tea? I enjoyed my massage, I had Mia, the room was a bit cold, but she was very intentional and really got the spots I needed bc I have chronic back pain. I would have no issues, but waliking out I was feeling so relaxed and preparing to tip and she essentially said " That's it?" which left a bad taste in my mouth considering I was just giving her the cash I had and planned on putting more when I paid for the service. I'm disappointed bc I get massaged twice a month and I would have chosen her as a regular but now I'm not sure, just left a bad taste in my mouth. The receptionist apologized multiple times, and I'm so grateful for her, I wish I could remember her name, but she was very professional and apologized profusely. I am a long time customer of this location. There has been times I have had a favorite person, but I don't go as often as I would like so I don't have a constant person I see. As I was leaving the receptionist was eager for me to leave a tip but once I said I didn't have any extra money her smiled turned into a frown. Moved out of state 5 years ago and still had some unused Cloud 9 gift cards. Scheduled a trip back to Houston and was able to use my credits on 2 massages. Both were with Steven and I enjoyed both immensely. No need to tell him your problem areas. He'll find them! He asks if the pressure is okay and just let him know if you need more or less. I'd have had a 3rd massage if we were in town another day. But I'll be back next time I'm in town. I did notice the super friendly desk clerk is no longer there. She was great! But I know people move on and how hard it is to find employees now. One girl was there both days and not a great communicator. Kinda reminded me of the new Wednesday Addams, but without the sense of humor. But she got the job done. And I noticed the face rests only have a folded washcloth on top, no extra layer surrounding the face rest itself. Just different from most other places, it seems.
