I usually have a really nice time here, but my recent visit was disappointing. I came in looking for some relief for my neck and back. I paid for the baby back massage which is supposed to be 30 minutes of back and shoulders and 30 minutes everywhere else. I ended up getting an hour long massage on my head, hands, and feet with about 5 minutes on my back. I usually enjoy this place so I'm not sure what happened. Disappointing when you pay for a service and don't get what you signed up for. read more

The best reflexology place in the city! The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and their therapists are outstanding. The front desk staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always remember their customers' preferences, making every visit feel personalized. Highly recommend! read more

One of the best massages I have ever had!! Jason took his timing working out all of the knots I had with expertise! Very welcoming and kind. read more

I'm giving a 2 star because I didn't feel very welcome at all.. I had a 6:15 appointment. The lady at the front desk asked me to pay before going to get my massage. I've never had to do this anywhere else. She goes to the back and returns n asks if I'm okay with a male masseuse. I said sure. She tells me to follow her and everyone comes from the back and watches as I walk in behind her, a lady masseuse is staring at me like she's never seen an African American woman that was 5'10 i guess thats tall. Idk why everyone needed to watch me get seated in the massage room. I felt very uncomfortable and like I was being treated differently. I won't be back here unfortunately, because I think his name was John, did a good job. I even asked her to scan my card again when leaving to add additional tip for the masseuse. That's why I don't post many reviews because service in general all over the city has been wonky for the past 3 years or so. read more

great foot massage, dark neon room. Easy check in and they took me last min. I'm picky about foot massages and they took their time.

Made an appointment for my mother. Dropped her off, picked her up and got out of my car to go and pay for her. I give her cash because thats all i had, and immediately goes, where is the tip, did mom take care of tip?? A tip should be optional. They lost me at that. Ive been a client for a few years now and have recommended a lot of family and friends to this place. Unfortunately i will not be returning back to this place. read more

Ruby is also AMAZING! She gives a great deep tissue massage that is equal parts relaxing and "hurts so good." Shes also very sweet.

I have been coming to Midtown Reflexology for years. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They offer individual rooms, and double rooms as well if you are with a friend. They always try their best to accommodate the timing you have available, which I appreciate so much.. as everyone is so busy these days. I always appreciate a reflexology massage, and Midtown does a great job of paying attention to where you need specific pressure or more time. I will definitely return, this is the only place in Houston I go for massage. read more

I don't think the staff here have any type of actual knowledge or training It was a very unpleasant experience Paying 80 dollars for someone to constantly run over ur bones was not what I was expecting The lady did not ask a single question about what area I would like for her to focus on or what issue I'm having The massage was basically a bunch very random movements the banging of the oil bottle, and the very loud background conversations outside of the room, the list goes on I will not be back read more

Been coming for years and always leave feeling so good! Sam is wonderful. Place is relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Professional and clean. My fiancé and I love this place and my go to masseuses is Nancy . Place is clean and ambiance is calming and inviting. read more

This place is great! And for the lady who said she felt violated... you should let them know your insecurities before doing into a massage. I've had massages and tons of different places and went to school for massage. It's very normal for them to lift up the blanket over their own faces to ensure it gets laid down properly on your body and out of their way on whatever area they are going to be working on next. You should definitely get a massage from here and if your uncomfortable with anything be very clear before the massage. read more

Great experience! Front staff was super helpful explaining all the different services. Once you head to the back it's very serene and relaxing. read more

This place should be a requirement for everyone needing stress relief and a sense of well-being. Who doesn't need that?? I trust these folks; they are skillful and really deliver on therapeutic massage. read more

Seriously high-quality foot spa techniques from Jimmy and Lisa. Jimmy was who I got when I requested someone "strong", and Lisa was who Misti got when she requested someone "regular". Both are top tier qualified and competent, and we would request them by name in a heartbeat! Our massages were as good as the very best we've had in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. If I were hiring for a new foot spa in Houston I would totally try to poach Jimmy and Lisa! Very friendly scheduling manager with a pleasant phone demeanor made the appointment process easy and clear. Clean towels, and a standard group/warehouse style environment with dim (but not creepy) lighting - very West Coast. Completely fine by me for $40/hour. Those who've only had $120/hour massage experiences need to familiarize themselves with this traditional foot spa ambience... Will *definitely* be back next time I'm in Houston! read more

Excellent place. I've gone twice here and will return again. Very relaxing. Rooms are not decorated like Spas, so if you're looking for that this is not the place, but they do have soft sound, very calming. I do recommend. read more

My massages and the facility are always superb when I visit. I leave feeling extremely relaxed.

I just moved to area and I'm so happy I found Midtown Reflexology. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Everyone is very polite and professional. I had 80 minutes massage with Michael he was incredible. The facility is beautiful and clean. I'm for sure their new client :). Thank you for the amazing experience I had today read more

We've been coming here for the last couple of years. Making a reservation is easy and they will put couples in the same room if possible/requested. The massages are performed on comfy chairs which go completely flat. The quality of these massages varies a bit over the different therapists but all are pretty good and the treatment/routine is very similar. They will adjust the intensity if you ask for it. Although the price has gone up in recent years, it still is a good deal. read more

This place is the bomb. I'm a circus instructor so I train very intensely. Needless to say my body is always beat up & very achey & tense. I got the 60 minute sole 2 sole massage & it was amazing. My masseuse was not afraid to really get deep & work out my knots. He also frequently asked if the pressure was ok, if I was comfortable, etc. The environment is super clean, modern, & relaxing. Everyone stuck right to schedule. My massage started right at 10:00am & lasted the entire hour with my masseuse only leaving the room for a few seconds to grab hot stones & hot towels. By the time my masseuse left for me to get dressed, it was 10:55am. I really appreciate the prompt timing because I had to go to work right after at 12:00pm. I left feeling like a new woman. I had a nasty knot in my right shoulder that was totally dissolved after my session. I'm going to start make bi-weekly trips to Midtown Reflexology. I couldn't recommend them enough. read more

I just had one of the best massages of my life with Susan at midtown reflexology. I have a lot of chronic pain and am not about to get bodywork at the frequency I need because it's always so expensive--but with the prices here, I could afford to come weekly and I will probably start doing just that. I was greeted and helped with so much kindness as well. I tried the signature reflexology and was so impressed with how comprehensive it was. I have left feeling like a new woman and I can't wait to come back! read more

I was soooo impressed. I honestly just wanted to get s foot massage and literally got a full body massage for $40 and it was a good one at that. I was 40 weeks pregnant and desperate to get the baby out of me. My chiropractor recommended I get some footwork done so I gave it a try. While it did not induce labor, it did put me into a state of deep relaxation and loosen up some of my muscle. My masseuse was very professional. He used deep but comfortable pressure. He did one limb at a time and kept me covered. The massage starts with a warm foot soak that is soothing as well. The setting is very clean, very organized. The set up is four massage chairs to an open area, but no one was grunting or moaning during my session so I can't say if it was distracting or not. I felt comfortable the entire time. Bring a cash tip and expect to tip approximately 10-15-20 dollars depending on your service. It's really really worth it! read more

I love love love Midtown Reflexology. The staff and massage therapists are very professional and highly skilled. I have had reflexology, massages, and combinations, and they are all top notch. I appreciate the diverse service times, from 30 to 90 minutes, because I can schedule a session no matter how busy I am. Michael is particularly amazing for full-body table massages. Treat yourself to a 90-minute massage! You will be so happy you did. Truly therapeutic. The studio is well managed and impeccably maintained. read more

I'm obsessed. Just try it. I do the 80 minute reflexology massage with hot stones. It's everything you need without any of the bull.

Clean. Friendly. My masseur was excellent. I would recommend this place. I will be back.

Has really gone average after Covid. They increased prices 30% and now they just go through the motions. Very weak. Wife feels the same way. Has definitely changed. Too bad. read more

Great spot!! New, clean, organized and really high quality massages for very affordable prices

For the last few weeks I've been having reoccurring pain in my feet, a coworker suggested checking out Midtown Reflexology. The location is directly across from the AIG building on Waugh. Layout was fresh, inviting and professional --that really helps a first timer. After checking the selections I decided on 1 hour massage/reflexology combo. I was directed to a private room with an adjustable chair that was actually more comfortable then it looked. The process started with a foot soak followed by head, neck and shoulder massage...so far so good! The reflexology segment was detailed and with firm direct pressure. Overall, it was immediately evident that the tension in my feet was reduced, I could stand without having to shift my weight! Most definitely worth the price --I'm gonna be back for sure! read more

Midtown Reflexology - So festive! - Massage Near Me - Houston, Texas

I've gone here a few times over the year and the therapist was great that I went to. But one day I accidentally left my anniversary necklace (worth over $1,000) in the tray. I didn't notice until I made it home that I left the necklace and called to tell them that I forgot it in the room. A lady that works the front desk answered the phone said she would have a look and call me in an hour. Never received a call, so I drove there to see if I could take a look myself. The lady that I spoke to said she looked for it said that they couldn't locate the necklace and really gave a "I don't really care" attitude about trying to find it while I was there. I told her that the necklace was really important to me and that it was really expensive (which kinda lit a fire under her ass), but she still gave me the same answer. So I told her that either 1) people that work there stole it or 2) someone who used the room after me stole it and if she could take a really good look again. The girl said she would call me by the end of the week to let me know if they found it (which she never did). I know it was mostly my fault for leaving the necklace in the first place but as a establishment I feel like they dropped the ball for not inspecting the room after I left to alert me that I left it. Which makes me think that someone stole it. And after my husband went back after a week since I didn't hear back from anyone, the same girl gave an attitude to him and said "she already came here last week and we told her we didn't have it". I'm really sad to leave a review like this but as a warning to anyone that goes here, please DO NOT take anything of value to this establishment, or double check that you didn't leave anything... because you will NEVER see it again, and the workers will be too lazy to actually look for it. Will never go back here just based off of this incident. read more

Words cannot express my sheer delight finding a Reflexology Spa. Friendly and knowledgeable staff phenomenally talented and fully vaccinated therapists. This will be my new go to for a peaceful and relaxing reflexology session. read more

I have been going here for about 10 years and love the service and staff!!! First thing you do is lay on a comfy recliner (leave clothes on) & put your feet in warm water. They put a soft big blanket over you & massage your neck, arms, shoulders, legs, back and feet. Soft music, low lighting and ocean sounds are so relaxing. You are in an area with about 5 other recliners but everyone is polite and It is quiet. It's such a treat to go here. read more

Such a wonderful experience! I loved every moment of my massage and Angela always made sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I will definitely be back every 2 weeks. I love the price point and that's why I will be a continuous customer read more

How do you come out of a massage with neck pain? By having a masseuse who instead of massaging is pinching your skin, not only that, leaving my wet feet exposed so that I feel cold and uncomfortable while he walks out for several minutes even after he returns he tries to pull the cover off my feet, which is still wet and feels cold. I've been going here for years, although infrequently, I've always been impressed with all my massages until today. I won't name his name, but he needs more training. Apparently one of their best masseuse has left, I'll give them another try but there's a lot more options if this is where their service is headed. My neck still hurts! read more

Midtown Reflexology is my new favorite place in Houston! For $35 (increasing to $40 starting in October), you get a blissful hour of reflexology applied to your head, feet, hands and back. The interior is dark and ultra clean and you drift off to soothing ambient music playing softly in the background. So far, I've had Leon and Yogi as my therapists and both have delivered firm reflexology massages. My husband raves about Mary. There's also a "happy hour" special of reflexology for $20/hour, Monday-Friday from 11-2. read more

You don't have to take your clothes off, to have a good time.* *Disclaimer* My 80's one hit wonder joking aside, this is not -THAT-kind of place, but that goofy song did manage to pull itself from the depths of my subconscious as the masseuse worked his magic on my muscles. Midtown Reflexology is a clean, professional oasis located in a strip center on Waugh, in that Allen Parkway borderland, between Montrose and the Heights. The specialty is pressure points on your feet and hands, but you also receive a cranial, neck, back, shoulders, legs, and arms massage. In essence, a fully clothed body massage, with special attention to your appendages. $35/hour, as noted by the other reviewers, is quite reasonable, especially for this area. I also like not having to drive all the way out to Bellaire for a reflexology experience that might be $10-$15 cheaper, but might be just like Suzanne G. described in her review. Every masseuse I've been assigned to at MR has been great to fantastic. I've always left more relaxed than upon arrival. The lemongrass lotion they use is pleasant smelling, yet somehow not greasy or overpowering, so you can leave without feeling like you need to immediately go and wash off. This is a doubleplusgood because they offer a weekday Happy Hour special of 30 minutes for $20 from 10AM-2PM. So if you're having a stressful workday, you can get some tension relief on your lunch hour and still have time to hop over to Whole Foods across the street for some grub, before returning to the office. In sum, highly recommended. Make sure to wear something comfortable where you can roll your pant legs up to your knees, and please exercise caution when operating heavy equipment post massage. read more

If you are looking for a spa experience replete with lounge, champagne and robes, this is not your place. If you are okay with that, keep reading... The experience begins when you are whisked to the back rooms that are outfitted with several chairs per room. It is not likely that you will be introduced to anyone, but that is fine with me because you don't go there to chat (not one of those type of places). Your feet will be set to soak in a warm tub, while your therapist goes to work on your neck, scalp and upper extremities. Foot and lower leg work comprise the majority of the hour - you are at a reflexology center, so not surprising. Just when you think your relaxation is about to end, you are asked to turn over where you receive the final flourish of some low back/hip work. Not a bad way to spend $40 and an hour! read more
