Woweee! We had a group of five and got five 60 minute Swedish massages ($80) and one prenatal massage ($90). Everyone in our group was very satisfied with our massages afterwards and feel like we want to go to more Thai massage places now. I am just sad that this place is not near where I live and that we just went here on vacation. I made a reservation ahead of time for us all via phone and had to put a 50% deposit down to book. Both times I tried calling, they answered right away; no issues with communicating & with questions I had. When we first entered, they had us fill out some forms, which asked us about things like injuries, pregnancy, where we wanted focused areas. I don't believe my masseuse read the form because she asked me before my massage started where I wanted focused areas, but this wasn't a huge issue for me. I was just curious what was the point of asking it on the form if they didn't look at it; maybe they did & she just wanted to confirm, I'm not sure. At the beginning of my massage, she asked me if stretching was OK, what I wanted focused on, and confirmed I didn't want her to step on my back, which I appreciated all of these being asked. She did stretch me with my permission, which was amazing & exactly what I needed. She made sure to also confirm the pressure of her massages were okay with me as well a couple of times during the massage. Some of my friends got warm beds. Unfortunately, mine wasn't and my room was pretty cold. When the blanket was moved from my body, I was pretty cold. This is probably my only complaint about the entire experience. Had an AWFUL experience here on my birthday, which led to over a thousand dollars wasted in: chiropractic care, physical therapy, medical massage therapy, and x-rays. My masseuse BRUISED my entire back, it was all purple. I asked for a relaxing massage with gentle pressure but she dug in with deep pressure over and over all over my body. I could not walk, sit, or stand without being in excruciating pain. I was out of work for weeks and eventually had to get x rays and go to physical therapy to relieve the pain. I called 3 different times to speak with the owner about my experience and get a REFUND for terrible service but was never called back or contacted in any way. I have gotten any refund, no call, no apology, so here is my review so everyone can beware of their shady practices. They showcase their state "licenses" in the front but only one photo is showing, all other ones are covered. Don't be fooled by looks and aesthetics. This place seems zen and in a nice neighborhood- but they are super shady and overpriced. I don't think the "owners" are anywhere to be found. They've been on "vacation" for over 2 months. read more

Beautiful space too though definitely not "Milk and Honey" posh. It's nice because Baby Barnabys is right across the street if you are hungry. Anyways, prices are very fare and the service was great. She got the Thai combo (which ended up just being a deep tissue because the Thai part was a little too intense for my mom). She said it was the best massage she's ever had! I got a prenatal massage with Maya and boyyyyy was it much needed. I really do not understand how this place has 4.5 stars because my experience was horrible. As someone who tries to get massages regularly, I know a good massage when I have one. I reserved a 90-minute deep tissue massage. Unfortunately, my masseuse essentially just rubbed me down with oil for 90 minutes. The medium pressure I requested, was not existent. The "stretching" was okay and I could have done a better job myself. Parking was a little difficult on a Sunday afternoon. Though they do have 3 parking spots in the front, 1 spot was inaccessible. I called and was told I could park by the business next door. Anyway, the place is clean and the staff was nice. I also confirmed over the phone that they still had the massage and body scrub special and had no problems when I arrived, or at checkout; From arrival to the end of my massage, the process was all seamless. Although touted as a Thai massage place, Nava De Massage also offers a ton of different massage options-- deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.-- as well as body scrubs and wraps if you're feeling fancy. If you've never had a Thai massage, be ready for a lot of stretching! Your masseuse will pull, bend, and twist you into a pretzel (but you'll be a very relaxed and loose pretzel afterwards!), as well as walk on your back to stretch out your back. But don't worry, they use handles connected to the ceiling so they don't put their entire body weight on you. If you're wanting that big stretch, try the Thai massage! If you're intrigued but don't want to commit, you can start with their combo Thai massage which is half Thai and half traditional deep tissue massage. The stretching isn't as aggressive as in other places, as say Hawaii, so it's still pretty relaxing. It's not for everyone but worth a try at least once :D The staff is very friendly and the masseuses, although there's a slight language barrier, are very nice and will check in with you from time to time to see if you'd like a pressure adjustment. I like how they don't chit chat during the massage. The place is very clean and simply decorated. A 1 hour massage will run $80 before tip. They have gift cards so this place is a perfect gift for that someone who already has everything :) they run promos pretty often so check their website or yelp page!
