My partner and I have come here every Valentine's Day for the last four or five years and this may just be our last visit. Our massage started 30 mins late and this was somewhat understandable seeing that it's a "holiday" and the spa literally has no control on the arrival of the client. I then noticed that there was a 48% increase in price in comparison to the previous year- ok...inflation, but damn. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the massage, but was not fully satisfied with the customer service received. Usually, following the massage we are given water or tea to replenish and restore fluids to aid in recovery, but not this time. Just took the money and said thank you...Wham, bam, thank you Ma'am! My partner enjoyed his massage a lot more than I did and received a bit more attention to detail, his face, head and even ears were tended to- I believe this was because the masseuse expected him to pay--which he did not lol. I frequent Top Thai Massage. They are very professional and can really provide you with a deep tissue massage. Most of the time they're available which is nice and convenient. Almost all masseuses are pretty good- I go once a week and it's rare that I experience an unworthy massage. You must tip/ tip well or they will question why you don't. Which is pretty normal for a massage from what I have experienced. It's a clean place. This is not a full spa location where you get access to a sauna or sit around in a robe. My boyfriend enjoyed it and the massage therapist walked on his back softly and he said she did a great job. I like lots of pain and pressure and my deep tissue massage therapist, Sarah, was spot on. Very intuitive. The tables are large and comfy and, for those of you who aren't familiar with Thai massage, the therapist gets on the table and physically stretches you out. I think there was a point when I actually broke a sweat because I was so stiff. You need to be comfortable being stretched pretty much in the nude with a sheet covering you.
