Very nice facility. Extremely friendly & talented massage technician. And LOVE the background sound playing. Highly recommend Cynthia and a Swedish massage with Hot Stones. read more

I followed my masseuse to NOW from a other location. It was interesting to see an open concept massage parlor. You basically enter a communal area with curtains separating each "suite". They play really loud wind/wave sounds to block out the noise but if you have someone entering or exiting next to you, you can still hear them. Conversation is definitely not ideal. I didn't like that so much, not because I like conversation during a massage but because I prefer it quiet and other people coughing and moving around messed up a bit of the zen. Otherwise, the furniture is new, the place is clean, and the bedding nice and crisp. My masseuse was the best, as always.. (shout out to Ricardo!!) Overall, location was alright - there's a hospital parking lot in the back in case you can't find any on the Main Street cause it gets pretty busy in the area. This place is one of those which take membership for monthly service in order to save money.. but they run more expensive than the last place I went, especially when everything is an add-on cost. I hate that they nickel and dime everything and there's only 50/80 min options. read more

Ricardo is absolutely amazing at what he does! He is incredibly skilled, professional, and attentive, and you can truly tell he cares about his clients. On top of his talent, he has the best energy and makes you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. I always leave feeling refreshed and renewed. Highly recommend Ricardo! read more

Recommend booking with Morgan! She understands exactly what the body needs, whether it is easing tension in the lower back, addressing hip discomfort, or simply creating overall relaxation. Her technique is thoughtful and precise, and it's obvious that she's very experienced. Beyond her skills as a massage therapist, Morgan has a warm, professional presence that immediately puts you at ease. She listens carefully, adjusts as needed, and makes every session feel personalized. read more

I was desperately in need of a massage to manage some shoulder pain and my usual place was booked. I appreciated being able to get a same day massage but I was not a fan of this concept. I am not the biggest fan of spa sounds and they were like hard core pumping wave sounds and white noise really loudly into the communal massage area. On top of the real thunder you can hear, it was just overwhelming. The communal massage area is so awkward. You feel like you can barely take a deep breath or you will be too loud. Especially during the winter where people are coughing it threw off the relaxation and I am someone who feels energies so I could just feel all the other individuals in the room. Pricing is ridiculous. They are already expensive for only a 50 minute massage for $125 but then to get any sort of tailored massage line deep tissue is an extra 20-30 dollars. I don't feel like I got any extra type of service for having paid the extra $20 for deep tissue because I still had to ask my therapist for more pressure. They have a membership they seem to really want you to pay for but I don't think this is your place if you are truly trying to relax read more

Kassema always relieves the pain areas that I have and listens to any concerns that I may have with muscle pain.

I love The NOW massage! Vanessa is such a superb massage therapist. She is professional, knowledgeable, intuitive, caring, and kind. Thank you, Vanessa! read more

Very clean and great service. I cycle/ cardio about 6 times a week so finding Now massage was a blessing. Amanda makes the experience great always asking if there are certain areas where I am tense. With so many sketchy places in Houston, now massage is a relief from that non sense. read more

I stumbled across this gem via Yelp. When I saw it, I bookmarked it because I wanted to try it out at a later day. I appreciate the location. It's about 10 minutes away from my place. Parking can be a pain (a Houston norm) but there is street and lot parking behind Torchy's. I parked in the lot behind Torchy's and walked a block to the massage boutique. I arrived about 10 minutes before my 2pm appointment. I was greeted and completed the check-in. Very pretty and relaxing environment, well decorated. My masseuse was Soleil. She was sweet and gentle. I got 50 minute massage with gliding cup. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommend this cute little place. read more

This was my go to place. About a year ago, changes started to be made and it's just not the same. My last three appointments there - a few months ago, massage was average at best; a month ago, Last minute cancellation with no other availability for days; and finally, I show up 15 minutes before appointment like they ask. They check me in and say the therapist will be out shortly. 30 minutes later they tell me that they have been unable to reach the therapist. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THUS PLACE THESE DAYS. read more

Bummer, I bought a $60 gift card for a friend so they could treat themselves to a 25 minute massage. Unfortunately, my friend let me know that they only provided her with a 15 minute massage and no explanation to why it was cut short. She said she arrived at 5:30pm to check in and fill out paperwork, and was on the table at 5:40pm. By 5:55pm, the massage was done. I guess if you book an appointment here, check-in 10-15 minutes earlier so they will give you the full service. 3 stars for the cute, relaxing atmosphere and the friendly staff who helped me purchase the gift card and box it up. I was excited to hear how my friend's massage went prior to actually booking a service for myself but I think I will go somewhere else. read more

EVERYTHING about my prenatal appointment was 1000/10! My therapist Shea knew exactly what i needed. I left the Now with a membership, i can't wait for my next appointment! read more

This place not only took 115 every month saying that I could use that anytime. But when I booked and then try to cancel because I couldn't go, since I just had a baby and I wasn't feeling good. The owner Ben charged 425 dollars on my card on top of the 115 they already have charged every month. Despite the fact that I told them last time I was in, that I wanted to cancel because I couldn't come anymore because I had my c section schedule the following month. This place just literally took 700 dollars and provided no service no phone call nothing. This should be allowed. No massage place do this! Stay away from this place and their membership. read more

Terrible experience here massages are mediocre at BEST. I just was trying to cancel and get refunded for a massage they purposely made it seem that gifting or giving away massage is easy. Just to use credit or screw you over. Treated me very badly over the phone unprofessional and lack of ethics. read more

I just recently discovered this spot through social media! This is such a cute and relaxing spot for a massage. Everything is easily booked online or over the phone. You can add on treatments and book massages for a full or half hour. Everyone working was really friendly. Only two downsides are there's no locker room or shower space, so need to be going home right after. And just an fyi, added treatments cut into massage time. I added a scalp massage for $10 without realizing it! This place really reminds me of Haitus in Galleria Uptown area. Haitus is a little more expensive but does have a full lounge and locker room with showers. Memberships are available at both! read more

The NOW Massage Houston Heights - Massage Near Me - Houston, Texas

Took my daughter here the day before a huge exam. She really enjoyed the message, essential oils, & ambiance

I experienced what felt like a very much needed therapeutic massage by Boon. He understood the assignment and accomplished the mission successfully. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning during our opening chat. He checked in with me during the massage to make sure the pressure was ok. EVERYTHING about the treatment was just what I needed. I highly recommend The Now and Boon! Many Thanks! read more

Wow! This space is phenomenal. The vibration and ambiance is really sweet and sensual, wild and exotic, all at the same time. I had a "healer" massage session with Julie who is also phenomenal. She was able to validate a truth that I didn't speak of and I'm grateful for that. She's very safe and comforting. Namaste! I will be a regular here, for sure. Not just for a massage but for the vibration and hOMey welcome by ALL staff. You guys did amazing!! read more

The NOW Massage Houston Heights - The super cute lobby. - Massage Near Me - Houston, Texas

Had the best massage experience here. The atmosphere is amazingly comforting and relaxing.

I've had a handful of massages here during my membership and and generally the quality and ambiance are good and consistent. The schedule is flexible and I've never had an issue getting in same day (as long as not picky about the therapist). The price point is middle ground, nicer than most strip center massage places but under hotel and luxury spas. So generally a good value too. The only complaint is the tipping guidance. They "suggest" $20 for a 25 minute massage, and $40 for an 80. That's between 30% and 40% of the posted price. I usually leave 25% for amazing service, but NOW somehow makes me feel bad about it. First, the clerk is standing right there watching as you check out. So you feel obligated to tip high regardless of quality of service. Second, promoting a 40% tip as standard practice is a bit outrageous. Now, for an excellent experience this might be warranted and I have left it. But, the way they go about it makes me feel just pressured. And question if they are paying the therapists enough or subsidizing wages with tips. Either way, after a few awkward check out experiences, I finally cancelled membership. I still recommend Now for last minute massage bookings and a dependable experience. I don't see the value in the membership or check out experience. read more

Massage with Boon was very efficient and effective on my body. I felt pain but it didn't hurt working through my tight areas. I was able to breathe better, the pressure was perfect the entire time. I didn't feel rushed at all. The Stretch massage was therapeutic and I left feeling lighter and having better posture. I wasn't congested and the pain in my chest and shoulders was decreased by 90%!!!! Highly recommend The Now Massage & booking with Boon. read more

I love coming here for a luxurious massage. Staff is friendly and each masseuse have skills that gives each massage a different experience. Everything went well. Friendly staff, best massage, beautiful place. The atmosphere, the vibe, and the staffs are what I like the most about The NOW Massage in the Heights. I like that you have the individual space yet still share the big room with everyone. I don't mind the walking sound and the short instances of words exchange between the guests and the staffs. As someone who has a slight claustrophobia, I appreciate the concept The NOW has offered. I am a participant of their membership program and I save a lot monthly for quality massages compared to other day spas I have been to in the past. The massage routine can be catered to your needs on the day of the appointment and never is the same for two consecutive visits. Boon is my go to masseur every time but I have had experiences with other masseurs as well and I have to say, they are all well trained. If you are big on self care and always wanted to try out massages, please give The NOW a try! Parking can be difficult but it's very safe to park on the streets. Just need to give yourself plenty of time so that so you won't be late for your appointment. read more

Good solid massage but I am a big guy and she seemed timid. I am not modest and wanted deep tissue massage and she skirted around the edges. It's not sexual at all but y'all wanting deep tissue massage should go to a Vietnamese massage that will get into to the joints. Again not sexual but hips and glutes require some more strength and deep tissue massage to help loosen the muscles. My opinion only. read more

OMG! NOW Massage is such a beautiful place. It is a warm and inviting atmosphere that really allows you to relax before the massage begins. I had a great massage therapist who had a firm technique to get the knots in my shoulder out. He also provided advice to maintain my body in-between visits. Also, the staff is communicative and friendly. I plan on being a regular and trying a variety of massages. read more

First time in Houston and found one of my LA FAVES!!! I fell in love with The NOW West Hollywood in 2015 and SUPER EXCITED to see a boutique in Houston! H-Town STAND UP! Doggy owner? There's even a water bowl at the entrance for your furry friends!!! (SUPER CUTE!) I walked into the lobby and the scent of Jasmine Coconut made me feel at home! The warm and welcoming front desk were so sweet and my 80 minute massage was EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!! My therapist even suggested specific stretches to help me extend my self-care. After my service I treated myself to a scoop of Jeni's ice cream! THE MOST PERFECT DAY! Thank you for taking such good care of me NOW Houston!!! Looking forward to seeing you all again!!! read more

I really liked the ambiance. The person checking me in didn't really do anything for me. She checked me in with little to no enthusiasm. She was eating and playing on her phone while I waiting in the lobby. The therapist was nice but looked a bit sloppy. His white shirt was stained but overall he was accommodating and asked me a bunch of questions before the massage. I booked a deep tissue enhancement but the massage was not deep tissue at all. Upon booking the massage I accidentally submitted it with a gua shua enhancement but then had them change it via text message to a deep tissue. When I checked out, I wasn't charged for an enhancement. I'm not sure how it fell through the cracks. I also left covered in oil. I had to wipe my car seats down when I got home. read more

I have called around 4 or 5 times. Never got a answer or return call. I am unsure how to get in touch with this business at all.

Maritza was amazing!!!! Her care and attention to detail was impeccable. She's my new favorite!

So glad I found this gem. Love the staff--they're very professional and friendly. More importantly, the therapists are some of the best I've ever had experience with and the setup is excellent. I feel like I'm getting a massage in a tent outdoors, which adds to the relaxing mood. The owner Cynthia and her husband are awesome--they're part of the reason why I am still a loyal customer. I probably shouldn't broadcast this gem because they could get too busy for me if word gets out, but I want this establishment to stay around for many years to come! read more

The ambiance and decor is amazing - Tulum vibes. My favorite therapist so far has been Vanessa! She's great. If you get a membership, the price is unbeatable from other massage boutiques. This is really the only massage place that's really hit the mark for me since I moved to Houston. Truthfully, its the only one that ever really felt clean (its very clean here). Everything else was a great added bonus. read more

They are all so nice! The facility is so well kept, clean and smells amazing! Boon is the best masseuse there! Love this place

Stumbled upon this place on a stroll, so returned to check it out. Very cute spa from the outside. Came in for a NOW 50 massage, and as soon as I entered I felt like I was transported to a dimly lit relaxing massage cabana on a beach in Mexico. The ambience was perfect. All the service was friendly. I had a mini consultation with my masseuse prior to entering the massage room. The table was warm and comfortable. The massage itself was nice. I prefer firmer consistent pressure than what I received, and perhaps next time I'll consider a deep tissue massage instead of a standard NOW 50. The price points were a bit higher than some other places I've been, but the ambience definitely offered more than other places. Parking appeared to be street parking. read more
