This place is awesome. I am a massage junky and have been going to Thai massage places because it seems like they're the only place that can go deep enough for deep tissue--until I found this place. There's a gentleman who does a really good job and he seems to really understand musculature so he gets all the right points in your muscles. I've also had the foot massage and it's great. Feels just like the ones in Beijing, though a little better because I think they really understand the muscles and what needs to be massaged. I'm so glad I found this place. I actually really love how my body massage was in a room by itself and likewise my foot massage. I'm a private girl, so being out there with everybody was not going to be ideal for me. Jeff was pretty great. A lot of massage therapists are really scared to be very firm with a female but every time he asked, he became increasingly more firm and I really appreciated that because I'm not an average female! Central Reflexology - 4/5 since the woman whom I believe is the owner has wooed my husband with her massage skills. The business itself is similar to other competitors in layout and feel. Prices are a little funny, but they're not outrageous. This is not as much a review as it is an angry LETTER TO THE DISRESPECTFUL CUSTOMER who nearly ruined our experience. I hope you read this review and feel ashamed of yourself: Dear Customer Who Ruined My Evening, Just to make sure you know exactly who you are, let me recap the events that took place... You called to make an appointment, saying something along the lines of, "No man, okay?" To someone who runs a Chinese massage parlor, this translates to, "I would like a female masseuse." I was laid out in a private room when I heard you enter with husband in-tow. Totally aghast, you began clamoring about how you'd requested "no man" - as in, no man to be present on premises during your massage. There was an obvious language barrier on both ends (each of you have strong opposing accents). The manager massaging my husband got up apologetically to try and deescalate the situation. Within moments, you turned a place of serenity into a chaotic mess, spewing out angry lines, such as... "What is it you don't understand?! Do you not understand English? I told you on the phone 'no man'. My husband will get angry if a man sees me!" "Can't you just tell the male workers to leave for an hour? They need to go. Just tell them to leave." "This is my religion. You not asking them to leave is like you're forcing me to go against my beliefs. How would you like it if you didn't eat pork, and I forced you to eat pork?!" The back-and-forth of your squalling and the manager's apologies endured for at least 15-20 minutes. Finally, they gave into your demands, asking the men to leave, and put you into a private room for a basic foot massage (reserved for customers who actually pay for more than the basic foot massage). I respect all religions and beliefs, but what you did was purely selfish, demeaning, and offensive. How DARE you talk down on these workers for not mastering the English language just because they did not understand your vague demands over the phone. And screw you for impeding on my (and everyone else's) relaxing evening for the sake of your own. The manager and workers were nothing but apologetic and soft spoken. You chose to make a spectacle of yourself by turning a simple misunderstanding into a self-proclaimed hate crime, when in fact YOU were the one who incessantly slammed the staff for speaking Chinese. Maybe try being clearer next time you make an appointment. Saying, "No man," is not the same as saying, "No man, please. If a man is on premises during my massage, it goes against my religious beliefs." Or better yet, next time you call Central Reflexology, it should be to make an apology to the manager. I hope this review finds you, and I hope you never bother the staff or customers at Central Reflexology again. read more

Yes! For me, I love this place because I don't have to drive to it. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I love it because of the convenience for me. 1. for back massages, you have your own room. All reflexology places I've been, you're in a big room filled with beds and you're fully clothed. Here, my back massage was as if I were in a massage parlor, just without all the frills ya know. Aside from having your own room, the technique and style of all reflexology places I've been to have all been about the same. 2. prices are good. The prices shown on their website aren't what's reflected on phone and in person. For my 30 min back+ 30 min feet combo, it was $40, not $45. I wish I got my lady's name - she was awesome. Great amount of pressure and great at her job. If you plan on coming here: definitely make an appointment - the location's small. read more

This place was great!! A hidden gem! I took my Mother-in-law here and we both got an hour back message plus a head and neck message. It was amazing, and for such a reasonable price! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the first impression walking in of the decor was not great, but the staff and the quality of the message we'll make up for it. After walking about over 60,000 steps according to my Fitbit this weekend, I was due for a body tuneup. I got the 60 min body massage and 30 min foot reflexology. The gentlemen applied deep pressure in all the right spots of my body. He truly loosened up my knots and muscle tension, made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I've only been here twice, the first time was about a year ago with a lady who did an amazing job as well. I don't know why I travel to Chinatown for mediocre massages when there's a perfectly good one in my neck of the woods. 10/10 recommend if you are in the area and need those knots released. Prices aren't the cheapest but this is a better massage then all those fancy places I've tried (Houstonian, Milk & Honey, etc.). It's also half the price. The body & feet combination massage was excellent! A colleague had mentioned this place to me and I highly recommend it. Experience was above my expectations and will definitely come back. Prices are inexpensive,$40 for 1 hr. My only recommendation is to improve the customer service due to not knowing what the process is once you get to the room, especially for first timers. We weren't told to take off our clothes right away and were just standing in a dark room waiting to see what was the next step because we didn't know if the foot or body massage was first. Came here after reading reviews. I was really wanting a massage but didn't want to spend $100 bucks. I'd been to other reflexology places before and like another reviewer said it's bit different in the fact that for the back massage you go into a private room and remove your shirt then move out into the general area for the foot part. Both parts of the massage were good and you really can't beat the price if you don't mind not getting a fully traditional massage for half the price. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're into the reflexology or foot massage places. You really can't go wrong. The reason for 4 stars is they don't mention you should take your shirt off so when the lady came in to do my massage and I still had my shirt on it was a bit awkward for her to have tell me and then come back in again. Since this isn't the norm for this type of place I feel they should explain it before you go in if they don;t recognize you as a regular. But overall it was GREAT and I will be going back!! read more

Went back tonight for a couples combo massage. Had the worst experience of my life and the worst massage ever. I asked for hard pressure three times, the last just kept rubbing me with lotion. Wasn't reflexology at all. I wanted to get up during the massage and just leave, was counting down the minutes for it to be over that's how awful it was. This place is a hidden gem! I've been wanting to write a review for quite some time, but don't want to share my favorite place! It's clean, convenient, and very reasonably priced. The foot massages I have had here have been amazing. I went today on my lunch break at work - it's 5 minutes away from me so super convenient - and had the 70 minute foot massage with hot stones ($30 dollars) done by Lisa. She gave me the best foot massage I have ever had. She moves and massages effortlessly. It just comes natural to her. The massage was so peaceful and relaxing, I caught myself dozing off a few times. The pressure she used was just the perfect amount. They do apply lotion, but I have never left feeling greasy. For my legs and feet, she wiped off any excess. I always call ahead to make sure they have availability. A helpful tip would be to make sure you wear comfy clothes. You keep your clothes on during the massage- so something like a tshirt/workout pants/shorts will make you most comfortable. read more

So work and school has taken a toll on me and I was in dire need of a massage. This place happened to be close to my office so I gave it a chance and called ahead to see if they had any availability. I can say that this was the most interesting massage I've had. I asked for a strong massage and Kathy ended up taking care of me. I didn't have the proper clothing on for a regular foot massage so I did the 30 minutes back and 30 minutes feet so I could be naked and get a good massage instead of keeping on all your clothes like any other reflexology places. It was relaxing but she lacked technique to take out my knots...but here's why I said it was different. She got up on the massage bed on top of me and used her knees on my back while balancing her hands on the bed to get the pressure on and then reverse cowgirl and her butt was on my back and she used her feet to rub my calves...she worked hard..but like I said it didn't get out my knots. I salute her for trying though but it was very surprising because she did work hard although it felt like a lesbian experience...because like I said I was oiled up LOL. Anyways I really enjoyed the hot stones she did on my back and feet which was so ticklish but felt amazing. She did wipe off the oil for me with a warm towel. For $40 an hour and 25% tip it wasn't bad. I did leave sleepy and more relaxed but not knot free. read more
