I initially visited your establishment after seeing a social media advertisement and booking a promotional service. I was very pleased with the quality of service during that visit, including both the facial and massage, and felt confident booking a follow-up appointment when I would be back in town for work. Because I live nearly six hours away, I intentionally scheduled my next appointment for Friday, December 18, in the afternoon, when I would be available. I did not schedule, nor would I reasonably schedule, an appointment for Thursday or any midweek day due to my work obligations and distance from the location. On December 18, I received a credit card notification indicating I had been charged the full rate for services that I did not authorize or receive. When I called to inquire, the staff member who took my information was dismissive and rude, repeatedly questioning why I would make an appointment on a day I "wasn't going to be here," rather than listening to or addressing the issue I was explaining. I clearly stated that my appointment was for Friday, not Thursday. Later that day, I called back hoping to speak directly with a manager; however, one was unavailable. I then spoke with another staff member who reviewed my account and stated that I had been "double booked" and that this was the reason I was charged. This explanation is both confusing and unacceptable, as I did not create or authorize two appointments, nor should a system error or internal scheduling issue result in a customer being charged for services not rendered. This entire experience reflects a breakdown in customer service, communication, and billing practices. I am formally requesting a full refund of the unauthorized charge. Additionally, I am disappointed by how this matter was handled, particularly given the positive experience that initially led me to return. At this time, due to the manner in which this situation was addressed, I will not be returning. I hope management will review this issue carefully, as practices such as these undermine customer trust and long-term business relationships. I look forward to your prompt attention and resolution of this matter.

They have Saturday clinic hours. Just as a heads up, they are very busy on Saturdays and the walls are thin, so you may hear the conversations in the hallways. The acupuncture beds are not the most comfortable. Due to the number of clients that they see on Saturdays, sometimes it feels a little rushed compared to the other 2 acupuncture places I've tried. At each visit, the practitioner will listen to your pulse and check your tongue. They will place fine needles throughout your body's meridians for about 20 minutes. At the end of your session, they will prescribe herbal teas and/or supplements. They informed me that they do not take insurance....although Aetna lists them as in network. They do give you a superbill if you want to submit a claim to your insurance. The out of pocket charge each visit was $105 (on the more expensive side in Houston). They usually recommend herbs on top of that so, expect to spend another $40 - $60 for a week's worth of herbal teas. FYI, the prices on the initial consultation has increased so expect to pay $130+ for that. I didn't have success with my primary treatment, but I had secondary benefits like sleeping better and less stress.

It is good to schedule an appointment ahead of time as with walk-ins there may not be a masseuse available. The rooms were very clean and even have a little built in closet to hang your clothes and there's also a robe provided. This establishment does not provide silk pajamas so you can leave your under garments on or ditch them. They do use oil here so keep that in mind it will get onto whatever you have on during the massage. They do ask what intensity/strength level you prefer like light, medium, or deep. I would have to say my favorite parts of the massage are when they walk on you. My quads have been really tight and she was able to help relieve that.
