5 Five Pepper Chicken and Inferno Alfredo Pasta.

Small little restaurant but the food is always wonderful! You can tell they put alot of love and skill into their dishes. Deffinitely try them out if you have not visited yet. Also the chocolate cassata cake is my all time favorite dessert!

In town to see my Mom and looking for GooooooD Italian food. Called several places but wanted to try this small (yet awesome) Italian trattoria. We had a Pesto Genovese Pizza, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Inferno Alfredo Pasta, traditional Crispy Wings, Arancini, and wedding soup. So to start we had the wedding soup and Crispy wings. Wings were tres Crispy and leveled up by the garlic parm dip. V Good folks....totally surprised. The Arancini was like Portos Bakery potato balls but instead of potato it was risotto with goat cheese and wild mushrooms, then fried to perfection. The outside is light and Crispy while the wild mushrooms and goat cheese dance in your mouth like long lost lovers. Main course was Pesto Genovese Pizza, Spaghetti & Meat Balls, and Inferno Alfredo Pasta. The Pizza was , as my big bro said, "real Pizza". The toppings were generously distributed on the semi thick crust. Then dashes of EVOO to dress it up. Shall I say......yummmeerz. The Spag & Meatball was also a generous amount good for 2. Angel hair pasta with a stick of Italian bread. The marinara sauce was just the right amount of tartness and blended with the pasta like old friends reunited. The Inferno Alfredo Pasta was not only delish all the way around; it was prepared with passion and love. The shrimps were perfectly grilled a la Cajun style. The dish was mated with spinach, tomato, onions, garlic and swimming in a Cajun cream sauce. N'awlins y'all!! This lil place is a gem of a find. The veritable diamond in the rough. My only regret is that I'm leaving tonight and I can't enjoy the Bucatini, Veal Parm, Veal Marsala and 5 Pepper Chix. For such a cozy place how do they pull off this amazing menu? Fogettabout Olive Garden.....this is the place to hit folks. If all the dishes are passionately prepared like the ones we had.....you will be in for a gastronomic adventure. 10 stars to the Chef. When I return to Mentor, I'll frequent this slice of heaven again. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I wish this eatery and its owner/Chef the best for this difficult year for the dining industry. Bravooooo.....MOLTO BENE!! Amici miei... mangiamo!

The place is roomy and had TVs everywhere for sports which was a huge highlight for our group. Patty was our server and she was wonderful. Half of our group pre-gamed dinner a bit and were a bit silly off the bat and she handled it so perfectly and patiently. She was a rock star all night and we really enjoyed having her as our server. We would ask for her again 100%. We tried multiple beers and cocktails. I opted for the rum punch which was sweet and delicious, a very fun cocktail. I also tried a sip of my husband's Utah which was a rich and delicious IPA, and we split the Cherry Limeade beer which was different but actually really good, I enjoy sour beers so this was up my alley. For food our table ordered a few cheesesteaks, a few fish & chip plates, a couple different pastas and burgers and I ordered the Three Little Pigs. First I'll start with how good their fries are! They are the delicious crispy thick but not quite steak thick fries which were incredible. My husband loved his burger. My very picky father in law enjoyed the Caprese pasta. I think my three little pigs needed more sauce of some-sort but otherwise very good, well cooked pork belly. There was not a single complaint at the whole table of 10 which is almost unheard of!! My cousin said their pickles are really good and ordered extra pickles which Patty kindly and quickly obliged! And for 10 people we thought the price was incredibly affordable and reasonable! We have a great time and I would consider this a top-notch experience for families or even groups. Ask for Patty (only if you are going to be nice to this queen), she's a gem!

*Reopened as of July 2026*…read more Didn't hear much about the reopening of this location but decided to stop in for dinner. Menu is smaller now, food is good and prices are about what you'd expect from a brewery. Main issue was the service. This is something I don't complain about too much, but this was pretty bad. Place wasn't busy at all, with just one other table and a couple people at the bar. Took us about 20 minutes to get an appetizer and another 30-40 minutes to get our food. Waitress didn't give us napkins or silverware, we had to ask. Every interaction we had with the staff was super awkward (we had to flag down the waitress and ask to order our main course) I personally can't see this location lasting. Dinner time on a weeknight and it was DEAD. Service and prices might be a reason for that.

We were greeted right away by we think was one of the friendly owners. When you order a drink, it's in a cooler that is either a bottle or a can. My husband got the Kalamata Specialty Gyro and it was humongous!!! It was filled to the brim with Gyro meat -Kalamata olives -feta cheese, and french fries. My husband said it was DELICIOUS .! The only problem is that there was so much of it. It was way too much for him to eat. I got a regular Gyro with french fries. It was good, but I won't say that it was the best that I've ever had. We also ordered the pierogies that came with tzatziki sauce. They were very yummy.! ** We really wanted to mention the MUSIC that they play here. I guess I would call it Pop music, but in the Greek language!! They had it at the Perfect Volume level to where you could enjoy the music but you could also have a nice private conversation.!!! Fantastic!!! We really loved the music! ** The service was very good. And the food came out fast. We took some of the baklava home to eat later. My husband loved the baklava! He said it was super buttery and delicious! I guess my suggestion would be that if you order one of the specialty gyros, you should take someone with you to split it because they give you A LOT OF FOOD! So you definitely get your money's worth for a good meal ! We hope everyone tries this restaurant in Mentor

But back then, dinner only cost me 2 euros... now Mykonos Gyro in Mentor, Ohio isn't 2 euros, but it is still very cheap! I wish a nice place like this was near my home or near my work instead of all the way out in Mentor, Ohio! But I was in the area, going to the dentist appointment, and had this joint on my want to visit list for a few months, so I picked up dinner to-go after my appointment. This is a sort of new, small, authentic Greek eatery, run by very kind and helpful Greek gentlemen. I ordered a small lamb/beef gyro meal to-go. For $7.99, it also comes with fries. It only took 5 minutes for it to be ready and after my 20 minute drive home, I opened up the takeout box and saw massive portions of food! If I was smart, I would have reheated my fries in the air fryer and not the microwave, but I am sometimes dumb and had reheated fries. I think that if they were freshly eaten right when I got them, they would have been better. However, I would have liked them seasoned. So I just used some seasonings I had at home. The gyro, for being a "small," was big, filling, and delicious! The vegetables were fresh, the gyro meat was tender and plentiful, and the pita itself was quite nice. No complaints! I will continue to try to support this small business whenever I am back in Mentor. It was so good!

This was not the case, as it only took about 5-7 minutes to get seated. The lady running the host stand seemed a little disorganized but seemed to have a way to keep things together. It wasn't super busy since it was early evening but the rush wasn't far away. For the amount of guests the noise level wasn't too bad either. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with "Sage Karma Kitchen". We showed up there for a quick dinner. The room was maybe 25% full. Plenty of room for seating. The hostess thought it was a great idea to sit us directly in the scorching sun rather than every other table in the room that would have been shaded... oh well. Our waitress showed up to take our order before we had a chance to even pick up the menus. We asked for just a couple minutes and she cheerfully walked away. Seemingly, never to return. I looked all around for her until I found her leaning on the bar talking to friends. We finally placed our orders, somewhat begrudgingly. My wife had a bowl that she definitely enjoyed very much. She said she would like to return to try it again. I struggled to find anything on the menu that sounded remotely interesting and finally just ordered the hummus appetizer. I fear they left the flavor in the kitchen. It certainly never arrived at my table. When we were ready to leave I had to begin the search once more for our waitress. She was nowhere to be found. I couldn't even enlist the aid of the hostess because she had found a group of her own friends to talk with. Finally, I found our waitress and was able to escape. The two stars is only because my wife enjoyed her bowl. For me... naaa! Too bad. No second chance here.
