Questionable business practices: I considered contracting…read morethis company to clean my daughter and son in law's place, but am questioning their business practices. Initially, I submitted a request for a proposal online, which took me nearly 2 weeks to receive. After reviewing the proposal, I decided to move forward, and they sent me a contract. On page 4 of their contract, sent by the Operations Manager, it states "we would be glad to send you a certificate showing our insurance is complete and up to date." However, when I requested it, Ms. Lopez refused to provide it, and stated they would be glad to "show us" their insurance when they arrived for cleaning. They require you to sign and adhere to a contract in order to even schedule a cleaning, but you are not able to make sure they are properly insured and bonded BEFORE signing the contract. When I questioned it, Ms. Lopez got defensive and is not returning my phone calls. This just does not sit well with me, despite their online reviews. BUYERS BEWARE!

I was informed that the Basic Cleaning was what I needed and quoted $115, which seemed kind of steep considering the fact that my house was clean already and just needed some detailing, but figured if it got the house squeaky clean before baby gets here then it's worth it. The house was not squeaky cleaned. Evidently their version of a "Basic Clean" is the same thing that my mom and I do on a daily/weekly basis. (Dust, sweep, mop, toilet, tub.) Whenever I asked why the baseboards weren't done I was informed it's $25 extra and that I didn't mention them when I called (actually I did mention them, not being able to reach the baseboards is the whole reason I called - but I shouldn't be surprised since I did have to repeat myself several times while on the phone with her due to a slight language barrier). Evidently cleaning the outside front of a bathtub is extra too. Along with door frames and that hard to reach area behind the toilet... So much for a detailed bathroom. Very much a waste of $115, especially since we have a baby due any day now and having the house detailed was something I set aside much needed money for so that we could come home to an extra clean home. Now I'll spend the rest of the day attempting to reach the spots they didn't clean. The staff who cleaned were very nice, one even went around with a rag and did a halfway job of wiping down the baseboards for me even though the owner/supervisor was rude over the phone and told me it would cost extra. However if they took a little more pride in their work, and included basic things that any home cleaning service I've ever used before automatically includes in their version of CLEAN, they would have had another satisfied customer.

I experienced several occasions where a scheduled appointment would be changed at the eleventh hour. In January, I was notified around midnight that my cleaning for the next morning would not occur. In February, I was notified once again but my scheduled appointment was honored and he actually mentioned that he thought he was fired. Something I didn't give much thought to until March when I received a message that the appointment booked about 2 weeks in advanced would need to be changed due to a scheduling conflict. The notification of course came around 10pm. Less than 12 hours before the expected appointments time. I asked why and the response was that he did not see the calendar until now. I thought about this and realized there is a lack of accountability here and a growing trend of unprofessionalism I no longer wished to condone. I hope they are able to recover from whatever is the cause of this and wish them the best of luck.
