I visited Trinity Cider this evening with my family. We sat out on the patio. Was a nice atmosphere. My son bought me and 3 others a cider and we sat directly by the window outside the door. We were there about a half hour. I had to use the restroom so I walked inside to use the restroom. As I was walking toward the restroom I noticed a bartender intently follow me along the bar. As I exited the restroom the bartender got my attention and placed a menu in front of me and told me that only customers were allowed to use their restrooms. I told him I was a customer and my son who was sitting directly beside me outside the window bought ciders for everyone at the table. I at that time informed the bartender that he needed to pay attention to what was going on around him. I found he bartender rude, disrespectful and embarrassing. I don't like spending money at an establishment so ready to treat anyone in this manner. read more

This is a new cider place in Deep Ellum, and it is absolutely fantastic! My friend and I were walking in the rain looking for somewhere to go, and the entire bar waved as we were walking by, so we decided to stop in. The bartender (and I believe owner?) gave us some samples. The lavender one is amazing! It is brewed on site, super fresh, and has no added sugar. Come here with a group of friends and try the cider sake bombs! People seemed to really enjoy these when I was there. The outdoor patio is nice and the staff is helpful with explaining their very unique and seasonal flavors of cider which I appreciate. I had the cideboob- it was okay and most of the flavor was from the artificial aftertaste of the cider- watermelon jolly rancher. I've been slowly making my way around Deep Ellum and all the new spots. My friend heard about this gem so we decided to try it out tonight since they were debuting a new flavor: black currant balsamic. I thought that sounded interesting and when I heard they had a butter beer flavor (I'm a big Harry Potter fan) I was sold! My friend ordered a flight of six featuring the naughty grandma, butter beer, rose, moose, the playboy, and the Deep Ellum dry. I tried the black currant and it was delicious, but my favorite was the butter beer! Now on to the ambiance. I loved the more relaxed vibe (we went around 6:30-6:40 on a Friday night). I'm a very laid back gal and prefer more chill environments, so that was much appreciated. The bartender, Evan, was great also! He was very engaging (we sat at the bar) and recommended a few good restaurants that were close by for food (they don't serve food but allow you to bring in your own). One of the best surprises though was when we were about to leave. Got our bill and we were all shocked with the amount! The prices are some of the best you'll find for the type of bar it is and in the area I believe. Overall my friends and I will definitely be back. I'll probably be visiting again soon since they're having Harry Potter Trivia night on Wednesday's! read more

I had an AMAZING experience here! The (maybe owners) were a husband and wife and SO NICE! The service was wonderful, the people were so easy going. You can have samples of the ciders, their sake combs taste so yum, and their variety of coded flavors makes it fun and different than others. The prices were pretty fair, the outdoor seating was such a nice environment as well. I tried the watermelon cider and it definitely tasted like watermelon. It was delicious if you like watermelon flavored things, but my favorite was the rose cider. Believe it or not, I tasted legit rose in it and it was very smooth and tasty. I can't wait to come back. Love this place for the great cider, friendly staff and cool ambiance. They have really unique flavors, some even with a local flare. The prickly pear is great if you're in the mood for something fruity, while the cucumber habanero is great if you want spicy. There are also flights if you want to try a bunch of different flavors at once. They don't add any sugar so they're a littler healthier and don't give you a bad hangover.
