    Four meatballs & wine
    Kimberly R.

Gate D1-4 Menu has a variety of food choices and drinks. Appetizers, salads, sandwiches/burgers, pizzas, sides, and cocktails/beers/wine. Gluten free bread substitution available. The bartenders attend to you quickly. There are charging ports accessible from anywhere you sit. Its location is close to seating for gate D3/4, the restrooms, and gate waiting lounge areas. I ordered the meatballs. Food came out quickly. I particularly liked the marinara sauce. They were generous with the mozzarella topping, it was extra cheesy. The meatballs themselves were okay. I left with a full tummy. The Cabernet had a harsh aftertaste. Not bold and tasty, more like bitter and unpleasant. If it didn't cost more than the meal I would have left the glass unfinished but you know, can't be wasteful! If I find myself here again I'll definitely try a sandwich next time with a cocktail. Great service excellent food friendly bartender Chris makes amazing drinking's. Come and see him .

Food was okay but overpriced. You order by QR code even when sitting near bar area. Felt weird and impersonal. Probably wouldn't go back.

Here's my bar tab for a bourbon neat with no ice.

The bartenders are great but they over price their drinks/cocktails and take advantage of travelers! There wasn't much to pick from in that area for a drink/cocktail before a flight! It's truly OUTRAGEOUS to pay $28 for a shot of bourbon plus tax & tip $36.00! Had I known how expensive it was I would have stayed away. I was feeling under the weather and wanted something to soothe my sore throat. So Travelers be warned this place is a rip off!

Way down in the D1-4 area to sit at the bar. They also have ordering stations there where you can enter your own order. Bar and seating area have TVs with sports playing and bar has power to charge your electronic devices. Food comes out quick and it's all in easy to carry cardboard boxes. That does make eating at the bar or a table slightly less advantageous, but the food was much better than most airport grub. I got a Cubano Torta. It had good flavor and was hot and fresh. I got the salad for my side. It was a pretty good sized salad and comes with your choice of dressing. The dressing I got was a Newman's Own brand. They have quite a few flavors to choose from. My wife got the burger and fries. It was a large burger and the fries were the coated variety and were hot and crisp. There were 3 guys working behind the bar, so service was good and they were friendly and attentive. Normal (meaning high) airport pricing? But on par with other options.

Terrible Kiosks that do NOT work for checking out?!

Avoid this place as it appears to be open but kiosks do not allow you to complete your order and the workers there prefer it that way. No orders no work.

Really early arrivals to the airport mean no time for breakfast before heading to the airport, so you eat at the airport! Glad we chose this place .... the food was made to order and so fresh. I ordered the breakfast torta. The bread was so fresh and soft! Tons of eggs, bacon, sliced avocado and tons of cheese. The tots were cooked perfectly! Awesome "airport" breakfast!

Very very expensive. I can buy two bottles of this wine at home for this price (California) and I don't feel it was a full pour. The meatballs were good, but scrolling down in the reviews I see someone felt they got food poisoning from them before so who knows ‍ there's no real other options at this end of the airport. Staff is nice.

While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. She's an asset to that place, and based on what I saw, she's setting a standard others there aren't meeting

My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

I am definitely updating my review after our positive experience last Sunday (6/28/26)…read more Our initial greeting from the hostesses was lackluster, at best. Three females, all in their early twenties, all acting as if they don't want to be there. Same as my last experience. Then, a lovely woman showed us to our table. If I am not mistaken, she used to work at Fish City Grill before they closed. She was so welcoming and sweet! Our server, Kristen (sp?) was STELLAR! I truly hope management is having her train staff, she was excellent. Kind, personable, shared recommendations. Our guests were running late, and she was still attentive and our drinks were never empty. Even though our guests' tardiness was out of our control, she never acted upset about this. Once our friends arrived and the food was delivered to the table, we were all happy. Delicious food. One person ordered ribs, and Kristen even brought over a steamy hot cloth for him to clean his sticky hands- wow! Great service and great food. Hey, perhaps Kristen should train the lazy, unhappy hostesses, as well?

Great bartender! The food and beverages were very good, but what truly made the difference was the incredible staff. I had the chance to get to know Chrissy, my server, and Jason, the manager. Four hours is a long time to sit in one place, especially in a busy airport like DFW, yet the team was consistently attentive despite the hectic environment. They checked in regularly and shared just enough of their own stories to make the time enjoyable. Never too much, always just right. I left feeling like I had received five-star service and made a couple of new friends. If you have the chance, stop in. You won't be disappointed.

I discovered they had brisket on the menu when I searched for "brisket" in the AA apps' Terminal Map. And well, they had a brisket sandwich on Texas Toast so we decided to find a table. The restaurant itself is nice and modern with plenty of seats and availability around 5pm on a Tuesday. Our waiter was friendly enough and attentive but he did forget to bring my water when I asked for it. To his credit, he was juggling several tables and was running around managing them. We shared the fried pickles and the brisket sandwich and both were quite tasty and the Chipotle BBQ sauce was really good and not too chipotle-y to make it different than just a really good BBQ sauce so don't be concerned by that description. The fried pickles ($12) were about as good as fried pickles can be. I've had some with less of a coating so if you're looking for something very lightly battered, I wouldn't say these are them. On the other hand, like I said, these were pretty perfect and certainly not overly coated in batter. They come with a tasty BBQ ranch sauce and the portion size was good; we definitely didnt finish them. On to the brisket sandwich ($22)... Certainly a shareable portion for two, especially since it's on thick Texas Toast and we were sharing the fries that come with it as well as the fried pickles. The sandwich was tasty but they were a bit skimpy on the meat and what was inside was really fatty. In fact one of the few pieces in my half was all fat. Come on guys, when you're chopping up the brisket into small pieces, it's pretty easy to toss the all fat pieces. The sandwich was served with decent and ample fries as well as a few things slices of pickles. The $22 price tag is steep but this is an airport afterall and they've "got you". To drink, I had a Don Diablo ($20) and later, a Lagunitas IPA ($11). They were out of their rotating local craft beers. The cocktail was tasty but the price was not. I had talked to someone in the Charleston airport where our return trip began and he mentioned that the prices of drinks in Dallas were good. I didn't find that to be true at all! I was torn about leaving the Dallas Cowboys Club 3 stars or 4 but since the service was pretty good and the food and drinks, too, despite the high cost for a meal for two with two drinks, I chose to leave them 4. Had the Cheerleaders been there serving us, I would have given them a 5....lol One thing I really can't stand at airports is when they jack up the prices just because they can. You're stuck there with no other option for food unless you bring your own. And you certainly can't bring your own booze anymore so if you're a drinker like me, well, you're screwed and you're paying $20 for a cocktail and $11 for a 20 oz. beers. It sucks! This isn't a fancy nightclub afterall! $12 for the pickles, well, that's "ok". Maybe they could drop that to $10 and I'm sorry, $22 for that brisket sandwich is kinda crazy but again, it's an airport. Anywhere else, for a $22 sandwich like that, I'd expect quite a bit more brisket in there and certainly little to no fatty pieces. Man! Should I leave 'em 3 stars??? Oh, Ima hit "post review" before I change my mind!
