My old 1968 electrical panel had some connectors that had been damaged over the years and there was no room for adding additional circuits. I had sent pictures of my old panel / service and a few days later Chris came out and took a look at it in person. Soon after, I was given the written quote. I felt it was a fair price, I signed the quote, and he came out and did the work less than two weeks later. He did an extremely neat / clean installation. He went above and beyond to ensure that all of the existing wiring was up to code. In a few cases he pulled new romex to replace some sections of cable that did not have a ground wire. The work looked professional and he even caulked around the box to be sure everything was water-tight. He coordinated well with the city inspector and PG&E because of the working relationships he has developed over the years.

We were quoted 'about $300' to install 2 ceiling fans and we were told that one remote could be…read moremade to control both. They recommended Hunter fans due to their quality, so that's the brand we bought. They put 2 up, but only 1 worked! The remotes didn't work either. 1st visit cost $311. They came back to install the replacement & new remotes, but the replacement fan didn't work either! 2nd visit cost another $323! Now we're out over $600 and have 1 working fan & 1 hole in the ceiling! We got another replacement fan, installed it ourselves, according to the mfr's instructions and voila! It worked. While installing the 2nd fan, we noticed that there was a dedicated switch for the fan circuit, so we scrapped the remotes and put a speed controller in place of the switch - $16 speed control vs. two $45 remotes that don't work seemed like an easy choice. We called Cummings back to see if anything could be done about the charges, but the owner wouldn't budge. Instead of dealing with us himself he had us talk to the technician. Chicken bleep. Their website says "If you are not happy with the service we have provided, you do not pay a dime until you are! Customer satisfaction is our #1 concern and we strive daily to be the very best at what we do." More chicken bleep.
