Mark showed up at my door offering services at just the right time. I am actually quite accustomed to sharing my home with a prolific gathering of spiders, so much so that I practically have a patented technique for killing the frightful boogers. The sight of them rarely fazes me anymore, I have become so adept and masterful at the kill. Anyhow, the point is I really don't enjoy doing this dirty work and cleaning a smearing of guts off the walls and the near-patented equipment. For the vast majority of the year, I kill at least a spider a day and usually much more despite being relatively fastidious. My step ladder never gets put away. I guess a-spider-a-day-keeps-the-doctor-away and probably all sorts of potential suitors and friends. Oh well, I digress! As I was saying, Mark showed up at the right time. I had a live spider I'd been eyeing in the living room since morning, putting off the inevitable whilst telling the spider about Jesus...and I had also just discovered a wasp constructing an exquisitely delicate home in my shed (I forgot to tell him about Jesus so pray for him). Mark explained the kinds of services and what to expect and I decided this could be just the ticket spending my time on other pursuits, like writing Yelp reviews and well, the possibilities are endless. There I was daydreaming about not having to get up in the middle of the night, heart-racing, to end the life of an innocent but nasty spider my daughter discovered. Dreaming about how nice it would be that my daughter might be able to let herself in the house rather than call me at the office freaking out over a wasp sighting. I took the plunge and signed up for services. Anthony showed up as promised. I was mildly disappointed that he was not wearing a Spider-Man costume. I mean that would certainly raise the bar here, giving the whole experience a kind of entertainment value not often seen in the pest control industry. Anthony entertained my silliness and odd requests. I may be the only customer who asked to have the dead bodies any mice or critters brought to me since my daughter wanted to try out taxidermy on them...actually, don't tell her this but I told him to keep it on the down low since I really don't support this new interest of hers...at least not inside my house. Luckily nothing was found. Anyhow, Anthony managed to fit through what he said was the smallest crawl space opening he'd ever encountered so we joked about getting stuck part way through and had some good laughs. He sprayed all around the home exterior, the shed, the garage, and knocked all the hipster spider and wasp hang-outs off of everything. It was truly glorious. After engaging with TriGuard Pest Control for over 6 months, I feel it's necessary to share my experience for the benefit of others considering their services. Initially, the sales pitch was very convincing, emphasizing a solution to our pest problems with flexibility in service cancellation should we not see the expected results. However, it became clear that there's a 12-month contractual commitment, which was not as prominently discussed during the initial sales conversation. Despite being informed of an "egg cycle" by the salesperson, which suggested immediate improvements might not be visible, our expectations for significant pest control within a reasonable timeframe were not met. We continued to encounter a considerable number of spider webs and bugs around our property, even after 6 months of regular monthly treatments costing $160 per service. Upon raising these concerns, the company's response was to reiterate the same explanations and eventually send a technician to clear the spider webs after complaints were made. While this action was taken, it did not align with the initial assurances of effectiveness given by the sales representative. Additionally, the communication method primarily involves email notifications to remind customers to provide access (e.g., leaving the fence door open) for the service. In instances where access was inadvertently not provided, the service was not performed, but a memo note was left, and the visit was considered completed. Given the cost of $160 per month for a service that has not met our expectations and the ongoing issues with pests, I cannot say I am satisfied with the value or the effectiveness of TriGuard Pest Control's services. It's worth noting for potential customers that the commitment is for 12 months, and the actual service experience may not fully align with the initial sales discussions. read more

I can't say enough great things about Tri-Guard Pest Control. Seriously, where to begin? I hate spiders with every fiber of my being. Not only do they freak me out, I'm scared to death of those mini monsters. Now, I get that they're always going to be out there, lurking. Why do ants have to come in, uninvited, like Kanye during Taylor's acceptance speech? No matter how clean, the moment I see an ant I feel like the place is covered in germs from floor to ceiling. We saw ants coming out of an electrical outlet in our kitchen two months ago and Tri-Guard not only came out within 24-hours, they came back later that day to watch where the ants were swarming (ew, David!) and laid down multiple defenses. Marc was/is incredibly helpful and patient, answering all of my "Why are these ants picking on me?" questions and laying out a rather accurate timeline of what to expect after he nuked them. Problem solved. Clearly I am a 'needy' customer -- I know who I am -- yet Tri-Guard has never made me feel embarrassed for my extreme bug neurosis. In my experience they have consistently gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Yesterday, Brooklyn knocked on my door while my wife and I were eating dinner. When I saw that she was selling pest control, I told her we had just seen ants in the kitchen and invited her to come in. She told us that her technician could come to get rid of them that night. I was excited to see if it would actually work, it seems like we have always had ant problems in the kitchen and bathrooms. When Andy showed up, he explained that we might see more ants than usual for about a week, but assured me that was normal and that he could get it handled in no time. I was surprised at how much work he did on the house to get rid of what I thought would be a small quick thing. Andy went into the crawl space, treated the kitchen and bathrooms, sprayed the foundation of my home, and even treated the eve's for wasps so they wouldn't come back from last summer. I didn't expect him to do all that he did, but I feel like he did a very good job on my house. Next week I am going to have Brooklyn come give me a qoute on one of my rentals that has been having issues with rodents. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for pest control. My wife and I moved to this country several months ago and everything is still new to us, including pest control. We did have a few spiders inside the house when it got warmer and didn't pay too much attention on it until one of Triguard's people showed up at my front door. He was wearing a mask and I can see that he was trying to keep social distancing. I don't have a problem with salesman showing up at my door now and then, people got to work and eat and pay bills, right? Especially during this pandemic. I signed the 1 year service after his introduction and explanation and scheduled for a technician for the initial service later the same day. Logan turned up right on schedule. He was very friendly, detailed and diligent on his job. He was wearing his mask the whole time. He explained clearly to me what he has performed. Good job! After 4 months of service with Tri-Guard I can easily give them a 5 star review. They came to my door and we signed up. Since then every single technician that has come to my home - either for a check up, or because I called in a request - has been courteous and completely professional. The best part is how knowledgable the technicians have been and how willing they were to share what they know. As a result my home's pest problems are completely under control and I don't freak out wondering if we've got mice in our pantry. I also appreciate how quick and easy it is to make a call and have someone come out that day. The person who answers the phone is friendly and knowledgable. I can't imagine how they could be more professional. I'm truly surprised to see the strong negative reviews because I have had a completely different experience. Triguard hires genuinely nice folks. Isaac presented himself at the door with a cheerful knock. Cheerful plus professional: Nice combination. Great information about his plan for today, why he's doing what he's planning, honest interest in how well the service is working, clear communication afterward about what he observed and how it was handled, and a brief preview of the next planned service. Really, first-rate stuff. We also appreciate the before-the-service reminders on phone and email from the office staff. They're similarly authentic and helpful. The service itself has been solid. We live on 5 acres surrounded by fields. It's essentially farmland. So, rodents and insects are a fact of life. Trigard does a solid job keeping Nature in Nature and not in the pantry. They also consistently respond effectively whenever Nature gets ideas and doesn't cooperate. Most helpful. Highly recommended. I just had my first service done by tri guard pest control. The technician was Daniel, who I have to say was excellent, he was courteous, he did a complete job. He was thorough and I don't think I could've been happier. Admittedly, I don't have a lot experience with pest control so I'm not an expert for what I saw he was terrific! originally I signed up for the service through Damian who is a sales person on the street. I know many people don't like people coming to your house and I'm one of them. However, it so happened I was looking for pest control right when Damian solicited my home and even though not favorite part he also was excellent. He understood pest control and was able to articulate their services perfectly. Such an off-putting experience. Triguard rep came knocking on our door this morning, and started talking to us as if we had ordered his services. Didn't introduce himself, didn't explain why he was here at our house. Just started giving us the run-down, as if we'd already hired him. This [MASKLESS] rep told us he'd be having a technician stop by on Monday and he'd try to give us the lowest price possible. My partner, in confusion, said "I don't believe we ordered any services...?" at which point, the rep called HIM rude. Not sure if this is the norm for Triguard, or an intentional tactic, but the way this rep went about things felt very manipulative and shady. Needless to say, we won't be calling Triguard at any point. Hope they can figure out their atrocious sales pitch, because it looks like they might actually be good at what they do. read more

We just had our first service with Troy; he was phenomenal. We just switched from Terminix because we have had an issue with wasps in our upstairs playroom since last summer and they appeared again this spring. We had called Terminix several times, as the wasps appeared, but they were never able to find the source. Enter Troy with Triguard and he was immediately able to locate and remove 2 wasp nests in our attic space next to our playroom. He showed my husband one of the nests in the attic space and we were amazed that Terminix had been unable to do this. He also found 2 other wasp nests in the outside eaves of our house and removed them. He sprayed so that the wasps would not return. We could not have been happier with the service that Troy provided. Good experience with both guys we dealt with. 7/17/2022 We signed up via Grant - the door to door salesman as I see people put it. Grant was very friendly and great at explaining what they would do along with the prices. If I would have said "no" I feel he would have said "Thanks" and moved on to the next house. But we have ants every fall/winter/spring. I signed up for Quarterly service. 7/19-2022 Levi - the technician - showed up when I was scheduled, In the time frame they said also. He was prompt and courteous. I showed him the areas with ant nests, I showed him where the rodents were around my water filter house, he even went into the crawl space and placed rodent bait here too. This is something we almost never do with "door-to-door" solicitations. He assured us that Triguard provides first class service at a reasonable cost and this turned out to be the case. Ashley and Skyler arrived on time the following day and also impressed us with their professionalism and thorough work in protecting the house against infestation. They went above and beyond the normal service, installing screens over vents in the eaves to prevent birds or pests entering the roof space. We signed up for quarterly visits and cannot recommend the Triguard team highly enough. These are truly good people working for a reputable company. read more

I have never had anyone come to my home and do pest control before so I can't offer any comparisons. This is the third time Triguard has been to my home and already I notice a difference. Last year I had stink bugs everywhere and this year I think I have counted 4 or 5. I think technician Tucker has come to the house all 3 times and is very knowledgeable at his through at his job. Always remembers to close the gate as I have a free range pet rabbit in the back yard. Comes to the door when he is finished and reports back what what he has done and what if any insect or rodent conditions he has seen. I recently have a service from them, and I do and will recommend my friends for this company and their service. The gentleman, Skyller, came to our place earlier than the time we said we would meet, He did not want to bother us by coming earlier, so, he stayed in his car and showed up at the time we agreed upon. He is very professional and listen to us for all our questions and provide us all the answers, he let us know what he suggested to do with our situation ( possible sign of rodents ) before he started to do all the work. He did take a bit longer time to complete all the work than he mentioned earlier, but he got everything all done beautifully, and review all he had done with us before he leaving our place. Once Again ... I am blown away by the service that TriGuard continues to provide. Our technician Robert came out immediately after we called and inspected our home and reported that we would not need any further treatment (other than our quarterly maintenance) as he did not see any type of activity that warranted it. He could have easily recommended additional treatment that would have cost us quite a bit of money. He came out to the house, performed a very very thorough inspection and reported that we did not need treatment. This was quite a relief and once again, I will NEVER use another pest control company. We just had our first experience with True Guard. Hector the salesman who set us up with our appointment was a very nice young man who was an excellent and personable contact for us. The technician who came to spray and set traps for ants and rodents was all over the yards, house, inside and out and crawlspace too. Tyson did a great job explaining to us what and why he did what he did. We both were highly impressed with him and felt grateful for the fantastic job he did.
