The vibe was cute and laid back and the service incredible. Despite the fact that it was very busy, the food came out really quickly. I will absolutely head back down to IB just to come here again. 10/10 recommend.

They also have a young man who plays jazz piano there every Sunday, so the ambiance is pretty awesome along with the nice weather. I also had a matcha ginger thyme latte with oat milk which was just tasty since ginger is a rare flavor in coffee drinks. I loved it, and it was so good that I took an extra one home. The service is amazing, and on busy days you may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. If you have any questions about a dish, don't hesitate to ask!

We enjoyed trying authentic Italian cuisine at Balsamico Italian Kitchen in Imperial Beach, CA…read more The first time I had a taste of this restaurant was during a Yelp Elite Week event and so glad we finally had a chance to try it because everything we ordered was excellent 5/5 stars!! The owners are from Modena, Italy sharing their delicious recipes from back home. I had to do a little research on Modena because I had never heard of this city. It's north of Tuscany. Modena is a city in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region, famous for its UNESCO World Heritage historic center, luxury car industry (Ferrari & Maserati), and world-renowned gastronomy, particularly traditional balsamic vinegar, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and Lambrusco wine. The restaurant provided complimentary bread with their homemade balsamic vinaigrette, which was excellent!! We recommend trying the following dishes: *Lobster Ravioli (MY FAVORITE) *Bolognese Lasagna *Mushroom Ravioli *Calamari Appetizer -w/restaurant made marinara The restaurant makes their own pasta. For dessert, we recommend trying their restaurant made: * Tiramisu *Crème brûlée (MY FAVORITE) The restaurant offers cooking classes for adults and children (6+) so be sure to check out their instagram page for workshop dates and times. There's indoor and outdoor seating with enough room for large groups. We had excellent customer service by server Jacob and are definitely coming back soon; check it out!! Happy Yelping :)

What struck me here was the best tasting blueberry sourdough scone I have ever had the pleasure of eating!!! Made fresh every morning by young woman named Leslie with the best attitude and a skilled baker! Texture, flavor, mixture consistency, fruit spread successfully throughout the scone . A texture that was divine in nature. Excellent bake goods!! I need to drop by for their chocolate scone I was told it is very good as well. If looking for a place to sit and enjoy your dinner Mangini's has games, music and seating all at a pleasurable range. The music isn't too loud and those dining were all very neighborly. The young people that work there make your dining experience even better. Great attitudes, professional and friendly. All without looking like they were working at. Naturally good people. Fast service for a 'make as you order' restaurant. Good pizza, better crust and bake goods that might just put your mom's bakeries to shame. Yes I will eat here again but if I order a chicken pizza I'll dress it up with linguica or onion and bell pepper. Maybe all three. That pizza crust will bring you back.

However, there did not appear to be employees readily available in the front to assist customers, as most staff were working in the back kitchen preparing the food. The food preparation did take a little while, so customers should expect a bit of a wait during their visit. That being said, the food itself was very enjoyable. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavor was excellent. The quality and quantity of the meals definitely stood out as the highlight of the experience. One area that could use improvement is the customer service experience. The employees did not appear very friendly or welcoming, and there was limited interaction or assistance provided to customers. While the food quality was strong, a more attentive and approachable customer service atmosphere would make the overall dining experience much better.

In some parts, the texture is okay. In other parts, there were weird clumps, and towards the bottom, a couple grains were too hard, like it didn't absorb enough water.
