    Everyone was prompt, courteous, and described their work process. I had my 20 something year old gas furnace replaced with a heat pump. Not only do I have heat, I now have air-conditioning!

    Majestic Fireplace Minimum Height of 12ft to bottom of fireplace. (10ft to top NOT the 7ft 6in they improperly installed.

    Buyer beware: did not install fireplace to manufacturers specification, charged me for fireplace ducting they never installed, techs couldn't figure out the problem, not reliable...do not trust this company! Had them install a gas fireplace over 10 years ago and have had problems on and off with it staying lit. Have had their tech guys out several times but never solving the problem. Of course, they charge me every time they come out. They even said I needed a new pilot control gas valve for $1300 plus installation costs. Last year with the tech here we realized the flame was being blown out by a downdraft. They charged me $125 for that visit but refused to do anything about it. This year thinking there was an installation problem, with their tech here, we measured the distance as 7 ft 6 inches from top of the firebox to top of the exhaust duct. The installation instructions clearly state a minimum of 10 feet of exhaust pipe is required! (maybe the manufacturer knows what is required to prevent the downdraft?) Looking back over the parts list they even charged me for 12 ft 9 inches! (but installed 7ft 6in) It's bad enough I have had to do the troubleshooting because their techs couldn't figure it out. But their solution was to charge me $160/hour (including travel time) to install the exhaust pipe they billed me for but never installed. Buyer beware!

    They made a new hole to fit the duct. Job was not difficult as they also had to remove the old duct and replace with the new duct.

    Very good craftsmanship by Nicholas W and Josh R. I heard about this business through our HOA reps and they have a good reputation so we decided to hire them to replace our kitchen fan duct system. We asked them to switch our 6 inch pipes for 7 inch pipes and were also hoping that they would expand the hole in the wall for the duct exhaust. A miscommunication happened between the initial assessor and the company so when the technician came to work on the vent, they simply took out one of the 6 inch pipes and connected a 7 inch pipe to a 6 inch. However, they listened to me and were also willing to fulfill our requests afterwards by doing an after service request. They did a reassessment, gave a new estimate (with some consideration for the service we paid for the first time around), and were willing to come back and do the job with the same technicians. Also, I guess the initial miscommunication wasn't too bad because I got to see a sample of their work. When I got home to see their work on the first job they did, I was impressed by the materials they used and their craftsmanship (I was actually thinking, "Damn... Nice job!" I unfortunately didn't take a picture of it), so I had faith that they were going to do a great job when they came back to do the job to our requested specifications. I am now happy to say that they did an awesome job replacing our kitchen duct system and they also added a little extra touch at the end of our exhaust duct to cover up the hole when the fan is not in use. I am so grateful for this company's professionalism and excellent work despite my struggles to stay composed when things didn't go my way and I hope they will be willing to work with me again.     Wow! $2500 quote for a kitchen hood install that required $125 estimate fee.  Beware!

Since this was a completely new A/C install with no prior system in the house, I had a lot of questions regarding the system itself, part numbers, maintenance requirements, and long-term considerations. She answered everything clearly and concisely. The install team showed up within a week, and honestly I probably could have scheduled even earlier. When I say "team," that's almost an understatement. Gary, Eli, Clark, Tristan, and Ervin showed up ready to work and got right to it after answering a few final questions. I work from home, and anytime I checked in to see how things were going, they immediately asked if I had any concerns or anything else I wanted to go over. Every member of the crew was respectful, professional, and genuinely easy to talk to. Even when I asked about unrelated things they noticed in the attic, they took the time to explain what they were seeing and what I should keep an eye on. I'm unbelievably satisfied with the install, have zero concerns reaching out to them in the future if needed, and I'm currently sitting in a cool house enjoying the new system.     After reporting a furnace issue (ignitor continually activating after burner was ignited and blower…read morerunning) to my home warranty company, they sent a contractor technician. He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. Aside from the part itself, the service fee was less than half of the original contractor's estimate. Highly recommend work from Air Systems Solutions in Ventura CA.

I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. There was a pretty big change in eta but that worked out for me because I was just leaving work to meet their technician. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. I called Matt at 805 Elite and he came that same day, inspected the system and found out it was just the capacitor! He also gave me the option of choosing the quality of replacement parts, most folks will toss in a cheap overseas made product, but Matt carries quality made in america parts which I gladly went with. You can immediately see the difference in the quality of the capacitors just from visually seeing the parts. My service experience was great, Matt explained my options and also provided advice on things to adjust and add to the system in the future, that I'll certainly be looking into. I'm an engineer by profession, and always appreciate people that truly knowledgeable on their craft. He'll be my go to for any HVAC related issues or concerns moving forward. Call with confidence.

He was paid in full-- over $30,000--for seven AC units, and not a single one of them works. On top of that, he stole over $8,000 worth of equipment that was paid for and never delivered. He never even connected the units to the power panel, making them completely useless. To make things worse, he left a massive hole in the wall, creating a safety hazard that we now have to pay someone else to fix. This man took the money and ran. Absolutely unprofessional, unethical, and should not be in business. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off.

He was able to come out the same day and service our system. He added Freon, installed a new nest thermostat for us, and added dampers to our ductwork to balance the airflow in the home. I can't speak highly enough for the quality of his work and the integrity of the service. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was more than respectful to my elderly mother and followed all COVID safety procedures. Friendly and efficient, the work was done quickly - including running to the store for parts. I've had a lot of bad experiences in the past with HVAC contractors, I have to say, I will never go anywhere else again for service. Thanks so much Tom. The cold air feels wonderful and is perfectly balanced in the home now. His prices were VERY AFFORDABLE. I can't recommend Tom at Espa Air highly enough to you!

He showed up with a mask, his toolkit, and a great deal of professionalism. He was able to procure the correct parts and fix my unit quickly and got me back up and running.
