    CROOKS

CROOKS! As crooked as they come. We drove 2 1/2 hours to see a white Yukon Denali we were assured was there. We left at 6 am. We get there and we're strung along u til management came. Of course right off the bat they tried to sell us something else. My gut 100% tells me they use that vehicle to drive people in as it is still up on their site. The manager in the office was so rude and did not care at all the we wasted our time and gas to drive five hours to see this vehicle.

They are very straight…read moreforward that they don't care what's wrong with the car, it's your job to evaluate it and decide if it's right for you. They aren't doing anything shady at all, but they did have a whole lot of very worn cars I would be afraid of. The unit I went to look at wasn't ready to show as far as I'm concerned. It had a leaking donut gasket in the exhaust, the cowl vents full of dirt and grass, and the console lid inside the car had been shredded. I didn't even ask them to get it out of the garage where I could drive it. I was looking at a big Buick, but they also had a super-clean Chevrolet Impala with a few more miles on it, but the car was in well-cared-for condition. I asked them to get that one out and we took it for a test drive and found nothing wrong with it but a "service air bag" light on, which we were willing to deal with. The suspension was still tight, the interior in blemish-free condition, a minor blemish on the rear plastic bumper cover, and the engine compartment clean. The motor was absolutely quiet, and running well, and so I left with a slightly younger Chevrolet than the Buick I thought I was interested in. Buyer beware on some of the units on this lot, but they are not misrepresenting them. It's the buyers responsibility to decide if a unit is right for them, and I'd encourage anyone to check carefully. They had some certified junk on the lot, but had some equally clean units in good condition. It all depends on what you want to pay, and how much car you expect to get for your money. Nothing about this transaction appeared to be shady, or in any way intended to misrepresent what they have to sell. They were courteous, kind, and professional in all parts of this transaction. I particularly like that they didn't even offer me an extended warranty, or try to add other charges into the transaction, such as dealer preparation, which I view to be taking advantage of the ignorant. It was cash-and-carry, and if it breaks they buyer gets both pieces. I've had the car in service for a week now, and I have discovered a minor transmission leak. At age 13 with 120,000 miles on it that's a little deal to me, and I'm satisfied with what I paid.

I…read morebought it for my disabled mother who along with my brother almost died in the piece of junk on the freeway at 65 mph. Mechanic lied about the vehicles condition, while standing next to the salesman. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe his is a really stupid mechanic, since he said nothing was wrong with the car except a "loose nut" on a random bracket. NOPE, it was a motor mount that came off while doing 65 on the freeway, almost killing my mother and older brother. I understand the 'what you see is what you get' policy BUT what about what you Can't See and then they LIE about it?? what about that?? This place needs its business license revoked because they sell vehicles UNSAFE for the road, Endangering People's Lives, and not just the person driving the piece of shit but other people in the other cars damaged by the UNSAFE car you bought from an unscrupulous dealer. I am reporting all of this to the BBB and the Texas attorney general. Your business practices are endangering peoples lives.

I informed them I had a bad experience and the General Manager himself called to follow up and to make it right. I don't want to make the point of this review around the incident because my point is that it was an anomaly and they more fixed the issue I experienced. They are good folks, good warranty and I feel that they legitimately care about taking care of people.

My wife & I was Prequalified for a vehicle at our local CarMax of Plano everyone was excellent on…read morepoint and polite @ CarMax Of Plano, The car that we wanted was at CarMax of Garland.... When we left CarMax of Plano the paperwork for car we wanted at CarMax of Garland was complete .... all we needed was to sign a few signatures and read over some documents...... When we arrived at CarMax of Garland , we were directed to business office immediately and was received by a nice young lady by the name of Melissa Huerta. Let me preference this by also saying that me and wife were dressed for the weather , it was cold out so we had on sweats. Mrs Huerta helped my wife get ready for the test drive , we test drove the car everything was amazing !!!! Upon arriving back to the Dealership after the test drive, myself and my wife were approached by Christian Gantes (Sales Associate) which introduced himself and Hawar Gerki (Sr Sales Consultant) Who said absolutely nothing to us about who was period. Then Christian stated that some information didn't come from the CarMax Of Plano, and we need to finish up some paperwork. Mind you , I said before arriving to CarMax Of Garland all the paperwork was complete, all we needed to do was sign for the car and read over everything. Hawar Gerki took my wife to has desk and basically interrogated her asking how she made some much money and literally reran all of her info...including ... job verification (again). At point I get pissed because clearly he is racial profiling us with a smile on his face. Mind you he hasn't stated the reason behind doing this or stated who he is to my wife. 45 minutes goes by he comes back to my wife saying it was a mix up and he is sorry..... all this after the paperwork with the car was complete on our end. Clear cut case of racial profiling. Bright note out this was Mrs.Huerta she was very professionally and needs to be promoted , she went above and beyond even offering to pay for dinner. Now , Hawar Gerki needs to be fired for work place profiling and harassment... completely unprofessional as customer I would never purachase a car from this location because he works there. And I'm going to file a formal complaint against him.

The buying experience was great…read more However, I have been running on Temporary Tags since with no information as to why my Permanent Tags haven't even been ordered yet. The temporary tags expired 7 days ago and the best information I have received today is, "We'll have to have another department call you back sometime today". So, the continuing responsibility of the dealership after the purchase has been made is very poor. On another note, the payment service Drive Casa uses for electronic payments is archaic at best. You can't find a Website for PAYNEARME that allows you to access your account. You have to click on a receipt in your email to get to it. You can't update Debit Card information on the page. You have to call the service provider and cancel auto pay completely and then go back and reenter everything all over again. So, if you're looking for ease of access and the ability to compliant with State Law that requires current registration I would seriously reconsider using Drive Casa. Good Luck.

If I could give this dealership zero stars, I would. This has been one of the biggest financial…read moremistakes I've ever made, and I genuinely wish I had walked away before signing anything. The sales staff had no problem calling me repeatedly until I bought the car. The moment the paperwork was signed, it became nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. Calls go unanswered, messages aren't returned, and when someone does answer, you're put on hold or transferred around until you eventually give up. I've never experienced customer service this bad. I was sold a vehicle that began having serious issues almost immediately. The AC has problems, the brakes and rotors were already damaged, and the catalytic converter was damaged before I purchased the vehicle. Before the sale, I was told they would take care of the catalytic converter. After the sale, that promise disappeared. Instead, I was contacted with a repair quote, expecting me to pay for damage that already existed. To make matters worse, they refused to provide a Carfax before I purchased the vehicle. Looking back, that should have been my biggest warning sign. I took my vehicle in for service on May 2, and trying to get an update has been a nightmare. No one answers the phone, no one communicates, and no one seems to care once they've made the sale. They advertise free oil changes, but that's meaningless when you can't even get someone to answer the phone to schedule one. On top of all of this, the interest rates are extremely high, leaving you paying thousands more while also being stuck with repair bills. Instead of enjoying the car you just purchased, you're left wondering what will break next and how much it's going to cost. This dealership made me feel like I mattered only until they got my signature. After that, I was treated like an inconvenience. Do your homework before buying here. Read every negative review because I wish I had. If you're considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. A lower monthly payment or easy approval isn't worth the stress, the repair costs, the lack of communication, or the regret that comes afterward.
