I had actually never used a moving company before because I never had a move that was big enough to have a need for extra help. With this being my first experience of a big move where it didn't involve only one piece of furniture, I wasn't sure what to look for. I came across Trico and gave them a call. They had laid everything out for me. First thing I did was receive an estimate to make sure that I wasn't going to be dropping a bunch of money where I could of bought new furniture instead and I also made sure they were available when I needed them. Of course I needed a Saturday and luckily they had a late afternoon slot open which worked out perfectly! The movers had came by around 2pm and took care of me from when they walked in until they left and moved me completely into my new condo. Everyone was so nice. They took very good care of my things too, which I must say isn't easy because I like light-colored furniture as well as leather and my bed frame was upholstery. No dirt or stains- YES! I was moved into my new spot in no time and they even offered to help me put the furniture items together because they had a tool box in hand, super convenient and helpful. From the first call I had a good feeling about this place but like anyone I had my doubts. I followed my gut instinct and booked the move for a relative who was going through some issues at the time (thats a whole other story). When the movers arrived they already knew what to do. Everything must of been mentioned to them from the consultation that was done a few days prior to the actual move. They showed up with all the needed tools to take apart my bed frame into multiple pieces that were stackable. I didn't think to call an electrician until I scheduled this move. I had some custom light fixtures I needed taken down but I was in luck when I found out they had a guy who can take care of that for me. It's not something they normally recommend but they were willing to make the effort for me and that mattered so much! 1 extra step that I didn't have to worry about. In addition to a strong moving staff the driver did a good job as well. I was given a 3 hour heads up before arrival. The suspected arrival time was changed a bit from the beginning but they gave me a heads up and did the best they could for the situation. I liked working with Trico. "Came back to speaking with Trico after spending a couple days calling around. Needed something affordable for my younger sister to move back home since she just finished college in the area. Her move down there wasn't the greatest so we wanted to make sure that packing was taken of and payment upfront. The company we used before added some charges at the end and the whole thing became a headache. After speaking with 2 different people here they confirmed a quote for affordable packing/moving and yes, we could pay upfront for the move and no additional fees would be later added no matter what. Trico was honest, didn't play any games and showed up on time. I told them to contact me a few hours before arrival so I knew when to be home. They first gave me a 3 hour time window in the morning but then shortened that window to just hour. They said we'll arrive between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Bought a car online for the first time and shipping was not included in the deal. I wasn't looking to go on a road trip either. It was quite a learning experience. After 3 months of searching and emailing different people back and forth I finally found the make, model and year of the specific vehicle I wanted and the seller was located near Eden Park. The closest car shipping locations were all in Cincinnati. Trico was the least forceful of the bunch and was able to work with my schedule on arrival times. Others were very short winded over the phone and gave off the impression they only cared about making the sale and not taking full responsibility of the car. Before even doing business with Trico they were willing to explain all the steps needed on my end and how they personally handle car shipping. Insurance was part of the package but it never ended up being used. The car arrived in good condition. They had to speak with both me and the seller at different times. Been in the Air Force for a few years now, and after being away from home, I decided to move and not only do something different but also have a change of scenery. I surfed the internet for a bit and started to look at Trico because it was close to where I lived and when I booked my move, it was super easy. There was not one issue I experienced during my move and when I did run into a problem, their customer service team was on top of it. Usually moves don't go as planned and sometimes something is lost or damaged which I was a bit concerned about, but what I liked about this company is that they had a barcoded inventory list which they gave me a copy of all my things to make sure that what was being put into the truck was being taken out when I got to my new place. I was in the loop the entire time with updates about my moves and whatnot, very good company and they make sure that their customer is comfortable the whole time. I needed helped shipping some belongings of mine when I moved out to and I'm glad I was referred to Trico. A lot of the stuff I had was furniture so I was preparing myself for a big bill, but it was actually affordable. They didn't charge me extra for anything and made sure it was all shipped together at once. The crew was super friendly to me during the entire process which helped ease the move for me. A couple of my belongings were fragile, but the crew was skilled enough that nothing was damaged in the move. They are very professional and careful with all your stuff. I received amazing service from the first phone call to the last piece of furniture being brought inside the house. Very good friend of mine sold his home in Cincinnati because he got a new job a few states away. More than half of his things he wanted to get rid of. He mentioned that to me and there was a few items I told him I would take of his hands. I found Trico online after doing some research. They answered all of my concerns and the quote they gave me was definitely within my budget so I decided to use them. A flat screen TV, a coffee table, some bar chairs, and few lamps were moved to my place in Chicago. They got here in good timing and nothing was damaged. Very convenient and blocks from my apartment so I could zip in and out when needed. They were very responsive to all my needs and offered me climate controlled unit at no extra charge. A buddy of mine decided to move to a bigger place not too far from where he's at now, but he also wanted to ship his car out to family a few states away. I just used this company to help me out with my move out of Ohio area and they did an incredible job. Their hardworking from when they first arrive until the move is complete. Trico helped me out with my move to my new loft. Not only did I use them for packing up my things and handling all of my furniture and loading them into the truck, I also used their car transport services. They literally took care of everything for me which was great. Entire staff were hardworking and very professional. I was pumped when I heard a long time friend was moving to Chicago but when he asked me what's the best way to handle the move I had no idea. So I asked around to a few friends.
