The ambiance and food were absolutely amazing here! The whole place is decorated in light-colored wood with warm lighting. My friends and I dined here on our first night in Madrid and were seated at a high top -- the restaurant was busy but conversation was easy; the tables are arranged so that no area is too loud.
We did the six-course tasting menu with dessert for 50 euros. The food was uniformly delicious and beautiful. See all my pictures. I guess my only complaint is that I wished there was (literally) about twice as much food, and it seemed like the price was a little steep for what it was. I would have paid twice as much for twice as much food and probably been happier. Also, I'm a 5'5" 120 pound woman, not a linebacker, so I have to think a lot of people would find the food quantity even more insufficient. We actually went to the Madrid market afterwards and I scarfed a bag of churros.
With that said, it was a beautiful and memorable dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Online reservation system through their website was easy and I recommend it. We had no trouble getting a reservation just a few hours in advance on a Saturday night at 8:30 in November. Not sure what it's like during high season. read more
