Classic Tavern Burger w/ Bacon - Soooo good!
    Erik T.

Let me start off by saying how happy I am that I found this place. I was only in town for a day and had a bit of a break for dinner. I did some searching for a good burger and the Triangle Tavern popped up and I'm so glad it did. I ordered the Classic Tavern Burger w/ American cheese and bacon w/ tots. Damn. What a great burger! It was cooked perfectly and not overdone. The buns were toasted to perfection. Nice and soft on the top with a crunchy bottom. Everything came together so well. I loved it. Heck, even the tots were great. They weren't heavy and dense or overcooked. They were light with a fluffy center. Everything turned out so well. Thanks to the servers and the kitchen staff for making this quick meal so exceptional.

Love the food. Love the atmosphere, great service. We have driven by this cute little place often and finally stopped in. We were very impressed. It's clean, and inviting and had so many choices on the menu. Yup! We found a new place to eat and enjoy a good meal.

Came on christmas and the food was amazing. Service was on point and the food was fabulous. They forgot some items on my sandwich no big deal fixed it quickly! Very attentive. My husband got their burger and the bun looked amazing......I think you must be 21 to come to this establishment FYI! Typical bar feel in here.

After being recommended from the awesome people at The Office 842 my wife and I had to check this place out. The ambiance is that of a classic tavern or pub. The service was fast and incredibly friendly! This place was very helpful in substituting the meat for eggs on the sweet and savory for me as I am a vegetarian and my wife got the epic hangover helper. The hangover helper was just as awesome as everyone says and the sweet and savory was the perfect start of the day combined with two hot chocolates. Before we left we had to try some hot apple cider and a manmosa, both flavors that all should try. Over, 5 out of 5! Thank you triangle tavern!

My my French dip that's supposed to be have meat in it, tiny little piece on the left side!

New owner! We have been going for years love all the meat they put in their French dip and other sandwiches. I open up my half of French dip and I say where is the beef?! I did say something so they made another one, still a 1/4 of the meat! We won't be going back!

When I first walked the staff here was kind of rude. Especially the bartenders, they seemed preoccupied with talking to people and not really tending to the customers. When I didn't know exactly what I wanted when the bartender asked she seemed thoroughly annoyed with me. This place has really great potential as the food is good but they need to work on their customer service skills. Overall I would come back but not to hang with friends just eat and leave.

Great snack options, a good variety of brews, etc., and the service (Cheyenne!) is WAY above pay grade!

Stopped in for the "fresh homemade pie" sign on the side of the road…read more My son has been dying for some pie today so I was so excited to support a small business. While I understand being the only person there to serve and what not, a prompt warning that the only flavor of pie was most definitely over a week old, soggy as could be, and full of undercooked, under mixed raw flour would have been human decency. To say this is the last time I will stop here is an understatement. Not to mention they charged me $16.75 for two slices on this paper plate and wrap. Thank you for ruining my 3 year olds excitement with what he described as "the saddest pie ever." Hopefully the food is better, but I won't be giving my money to these folks again. Best of luck

For a moment, I thought I had somehow took a wrong turn and had driven into rural Ireland. I was curious. I knew I had to check it out on our return drive home later in the day. Unfortunately, the hours posted to Yelp and Google were incorrect; either that, or the proprietors had closed early that Sunday night. Either way, they were gracious enough to let us poke about a bit before leaving, and I have to say, we will likely be making a special trip to revisit this place in the near future. The interior is warm, dimly lit, and filled with the heartwarming aroma of wood smoke from the black iron furnace, and Irish stew simmering in the kitchen. Lots of love and personal touches have been included in the interior decor: vintage artwork, framed and loose pictures, posters and newspaper clippings, antiques, tchotchkies, your standard neon bar signs, and hard wood furniture. It looks and feels lived in: a living history museum of the region, which apparently has more history than one would ascertain from driving through this tiny hamlet. Looking forward to knocking back a few drinks and enjoying a hearty meal here someday soon.

If you follow my reviews, it's not secret that I generally despise bars. What, then, is so…read moredifferent about Covlins that it warrants a 5-star review? Lots of things... * Staff is REMARKABLY friendly and personable * They are equally attentive and professional * The patrons were awesome, seriously. I came here alone, and no fewer than three people, each in completely different parties, approached and engaged me in conversation. This seemed like a bunch of regulars who welcome newcomers as family. The menu is much larger than expected for a bar. I opted for the pulled pork sliders, and they were FAR better than expected. The rolls were the most surprising part, they were fantastic! I don't know if they're baked on-site, but they're definitely not typical "get the job done" fare, they were superb. "Slider" also seemed to be a bit misleading because they're so generously stuffed with pork and cole slaw that they're closer to a full-sized sandwich. Prices belie the quality and portion sizes (much lower prices than I'd expect). The only minor gripe is that there are not a lot of good seats for seeing bands perform. The bar area is narrow and long, which doesn't lend itself well to seeing performances, but I was still able to do so, and the friendliness of the staff and other patrons (again, AMAZING surprise) really seemed to make up for this.

The only reason did not give it 5 stars is because they charge you a credit card fee if you pay with card. Don't normally experience this at other places and very disappointed. We understand why they are doing it, however, as business owners ourselves, we don't agree this to be good practice. We prefer to give an excellent tip for good service than get surprised with a CC FEE which limits us from giving above and beyond on tipping the server or person who helps with take out, for the great service. Make sure you have cash to pay as the fee adds up!
