I was excited when I saw that they had vegan pizza. The selection is not just good, it is exceptional. **Any** pizza that is available can be made vegan. I am a recent convert to veganism, so I have not had a ton of experience with vegan pizza. I would call it "good but not great." They have a terrific list of draft beers, with a good selection. The bar staff is very standoffish and seems like it's an inconvenience to serve you. I ordered a sour beer (should have tried it before. Yes I get that) buuut it was served in an 8oz glass clearly marked. I took one drink and realized it was nasty and then I saw a fly in it. I nicely came back to the bar stating that the sour beer was a little too sweet for me and there was a fly and asked if I could get a different drink. Easy and simple. Just get me a different one. Nope. Paid $9 for the first one and another $9 for the second ... that's absolutely insane and terrible customer service. read more

Vote NO to kids at the bar. I truly love this bar, they make the best craft cocktails. The vibe is cool, the pizza is alright, BUT they let kids in the pinball area and they run wild like it's a chuckEcheese. The last visit there was a toddler climbing under and on the machines. Sitting her poopy butt on the table where my drink would sit. And there was a baby pulled up to a machine in a high chair just to sit and stare unattended. I wish they would cut the whole kid scene. This place used to be awesome but it just seems like a family oriented kids playground now. There's no place to sit at the small bar they have and it's $7.60 for a pint of beer. We love coming here during the summer for drinks and pizza. Such a cute spot with a good vibe. Staff is always so nice and welcoming. We usually stop in for pizza and like sitting outside cuz it's always so warm inside, but they do have seating in the front and also a back patio. This bar is connected to The Hungry Sasquatch and there is a room with pinball machines that separates the bar from the pizza place. We spent the weekend exploring Vancouver and this was our first stop of the trip. One side is the Thirsty Sasquatch bar area and the other side is the Hungry Sasquatch pizza by the slice area (they also offer full pizzas, salads, etc). The slices are absolutely massive (definitely 2-3 regular slices) and the crust was thin and crispy on the bottom and fluffy on top (just how I like it). There is also a middle section filled with fun pinball machines. We loved the overall aesthetic and would definitely hang out here if we lived in town. read more

Okay.... I am an absolute pizza snob. I've had pizza all over the country. My "go to" is New York, big slices, extra crispy thin crust. Sasquatch has officially taken the lead for #1 in my book. I'm absolutely obsessed. Not only is a good ol pepperoni slice here perfection, but their unique pies like the "Fungi" and the Spicy Pig" are SOOOOOOOO friggin good. I also love that you can get a massive, and I mean MASSIVE lrg pizza (like I could barely fit the box into the back door of my car lol), but can swing by for a fresh, hot slice of pretty much any of the pies they offer at anytime of the day. On top of the pies, the staff have always been super cool. I would drive hours for a slice of Sasquatch pizza. After all of the great reviews we've seen we were very excited to try one of their pies. We came in this past Saturday afternoon and got a 22" half cheese/half Pepproni for takeout. When we got home we took a bite; The crust was excellent...some of the best I've had in our area. This is the only reason I'm not giving it a single star. The problem was that there was a strong bitter flavor. We tasted the crust and the pepperoni on it's own and then realized the bad taste was the cheese. The bitterness was strong enough that we could not enjoy it at all and ended up throwing the entire 22" pizza, minus a couple of bites, into the trash. We wondered if either they ran out of the cheese they typically use or if maybe the cheese had been burnt to the point of ruining it. Either way it was a waste of a drive and money. One side of the Thirsty Sasquatch was the bar and the other side is where you order pizza. The service at the bar was quick and efficient with a great selection of beers. On the pizza side, you'll walk up to the counter tell them what you want and place your order. They offer slices and whole pizzas. They'll give you the individual pizza slices right away and if you order a whole pizza they'll bring it to your table. I ordered: -The Garden - ordered a couple of slices of the garden and it was delicious! Great flavor combos of pesto, mushrooms, and spinach. The portion size of the slice is very generous too! Thanks for the recommendation. The restaurant is separated into 3 sections with the middle section the arcade area. One of the other areas is where they serve alcohol(21+ over) and the other side is where you order pizza and can sit down and eat. I really liked this place and will be back. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because it was very hot inside (July) and no AC with minimal fans running. Improve your AC situation. We noticed after we left they had outdoor seating in the back. Had we known, we'd have sat outside so give customers the heads up. read more

These guys are deciples of Tony G from Pizza Rock, so they now know what's up. If you know, you know. It's mostly a quick turn slice house, but you can get a yuge whole pie. They have a good thing going here. I place them above Escape from NY Pizza in taste and quality, and you don't have to go to Nob Hill. When you finish, go hit the pinball and maybe get another craftdraft or a special local can out of the fridge. It's all good. My only neg about this whole place is the ranch. The thin pizza wasn't special; however, the slices were large and sure to satisfy just about any kid you bring along. Because of the noise and activity, I headed to the outdoor patio to relax in the afternoon sun. It wasn't necessarily any quieter, but was totally more mature with all the tables except one (lucky me again) filled with happy conversations. A pit stop via the line at the bar got me a pint of Cloak of Feathers IPA (5 stars - 6.7% abv) from E9 Brewing Co. (Tacoma, WA) ... so I had a long happy conversation with it and actually hope to meet Cloak of Feathers IPA again, soon. The Thirsty Sasquatch is definitely a family friendly local spot. There's still the OG Thirsty Sasquatch bar area with the backyard patio and delicious drinks, but now everything is updated, and the decor is beautiful and modern. I get they had to change because they didn't really have a huge customer base at that point, but I was a bigger fan of the Thirsty Sasquatch when it was just a bar. The pizza was expensive and it was pretty greasy - we didn't really care for it. It could've been that night but we haven't been back since - a lot of regulars we know don't like the changes either.
