Our new go to Hawaiian Tiki bar! If you love Tiki bars, this is the place to go to. However, get there early because this place is small on the inside. The ambience, the decor, and the total relaxing vibe here is incredible. It feels like you're 1000 miles away from any of life's problems. Our service was fantastic. Our waitress was always checking on us making sure everything was just right or if we needed anything. The drinks are strong, but are mixed well and very well balanced. The food portions are small, but taste exceptional! It's really more of a cocktail bar versus a restaurant so know that going in. A place to have good tiki bar drinks and cocktails and small plates of food to go with. They have happy hours until 6 PM on Saturday so that was nice to get a discount on our drinks because drinks can be expensive, no matter where you go. All the attention to detail in the decor of this place was really cool. Heck even the hallway to the bathroom and even in the bathroom itself was decorated cool. Definitely wanna go back again.

Me and 2 friends walked in and were greeted immediately and told to pick any table! Server also asked if we were ok to use QR codes for menu etc. Hands down, server was attentive, kind, all around great. I got the HH margarita, it took me 7 straw pulls to finish it, and they weren't long ones, so much ice I was kind of shocked that it emptied so quick. Definitely not worth the $9..... One friend got the Pina Colada which he said was good, another got the Mai Tai and he said it was super strong (which he enjoyed) and for him to say that, he never does, I believe it. We each ordered the HH lumpia, which came out hot and fresh, and were sooooo good. We went on a Wednesday at 5pm, so the vibe was very low key, I'd check it out again, it was a good first visit!

Ventured out to Coral Club for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I had such a wonderful time I forgot to take a picture of my main dish ‍ We did the Dine the Couve Special 3 for $33. Everything was delicious. For my main dish I had the Kahlua pork with rice and mac, the rice was topped with toasted coconut and the pork was nice and juicy. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The ambiance is truly unique, retro beachy. I loved it

We popped into Coral Club for brunch on a Sunday morning and it was not busy at all. The server was awesome, she had great energy. They have a couple vegan options which is why we decided to try it out. The vibe is tiki bar, low lighting, nice big bar. My friends ordered onion rings as an appetizer - they looked good. I ordered vegan tacos - absolutely delicious. We all ordered a round of their "Jason Mimosa" - Passionfruit, orange & guava juice with champagne. The food & drink presentation were beautiful! I am always looking for fun restaurants with a vegan option or 2, to take my non vegan friends and Coral Club is a winner. 10/10 recommend!

Great ambiance! Friendly and fast service. The inside is a little small. There is limited seating at the bar, but several tables and a couple of booths for bigger groups.

I love this tiki bar! The tropical decor and dark lighting create such a fun atmosphere. There's always a good selection of creative drinks. Most recently I got the tiki bowl drink, which turned into a full experience in itself, as it was lit on fire and we were given comically large straws to drink out of.

GOTTA LOVE A COZY TIKI BAR on a rainy day! Vibes were chill and the food was so GOOD. This is a small tiki bar with a lot of personality and charm. I Loved the decor and the vibes. Menu is to the point and packed with a lot of flavorful drinks. Being able to come in on a Friday and be seated without wait was a huge plus. We had the Coral Platter and two drinks from the menu. You can add fire to any drink for $2 which is awesome. The platter came with chicken wings (4), spam musubi (2) and lumpia (2). Everything was served hot and fresh and was well flavored - loved the lumpia. The drinks were a slow burn - we ordered the Cobra's fang which is strong, Aunty Punch (tonight's was blackberry and a vinaigrette each ordered 1), and the Painkiller (not pictured, I added fire. It was great). I recommend the chicken wings with spicy gochujang. Lumpia was perfect and the spam musubi was good. It is a great sized platter for two to three but very easy to split between a hungry couple. Service was great! & the fired drinks going around add excitement to the bar vibe. I'd go back and I recommend

Cute spot in DT Vancouver. Definitely better than the Tiki places I've checked out in Portland. Only tried the Loco Moco for food and it was good. They sell their own hot sauce and it's yummy and I bought some to bring home. Tried a few classic Tiki cocktails and they were good. Friendly staff and overall a good experience.

Great venue, fun ambience, awesome staff. We happened in on trivia night (every Wednesday starting at 7:30 pm) and initially were sat outside because the venue was crowded. We ended up moving inside as tables came available.

My favorite spot on our tiki tour of the Portland area, Coral Club has it all A knowledgeable manager who runs the entire place with grace and calm; an extensive rum list; well-made classic and original tiki drinks; tasty food; thematic and curated decor; enticing soundtrack; and a vibe that invites all who enter to relax and enjoy the moment. Totally recommend.

Fun little spot with lots of tiki punch in a compact space. Drinks are on the higher-quality side and NA options for those taking an ABV break. Service was attentive but not cloying. Decor was so cute and lots of little details to catch everywhere you look. No booking but got on a waitlist and in pretty quick. Within 30 min.

The service was great! They checked on us many times, brought out everything we requested, etc. The ambiance is exactly what I would expect of a tiki bar with velvet paintings, dark and dimly lit colorful lights, bamboo, thatched walls, and tiki lamps. You gotta check out the bathroom wallpaper too! We ordered the spam musabi and it was a large, delicious portion. People in our party also ordered the kimchi, kahlua pork, Mac salad, chicken skewers, etc and everything looked great and plated well. I do appreciate that on the drink menu they put how strong drinks are. While the drinks tasted fine, the number one complaint in our party was that for the price of the drinks there was too much ice in them. One part of our group ordered a shared bowl to drink. Presentation was impressive including a little fire presentation but the bowl was over iced. My particular drink was something I never tried called a Missionary's Downfall. It had no ice in it and served in a small glass with too much froth. I felt disappointed by the size of the drink for the price. The Painkiller was bigger but at least half ice. Overall, I liked that place but just know that the drinks have too much ice or none at all.

I LOVE a tiki bar so I'm very biased. Loved this little spot. Went for a date night. Lots of boobs on the walls. Fun things to look at all over. It is small, so you might have to wait if you get here later. They do not do reservations. They might have reservations for larger groups? It was unclear, but some tables had reserved on them. Drinks are a little pricey, but hey, you pay for the atmosphere here. I love that you can add fire to any drink for a small upcharge. Just be aware you are going to get a ton of cinnamon in your drink for the effect. We didn't try the food, but the service was great.

The area has developed quickly and having grown up nearby and moved away years ago, it's amazing to see what's happened along here. Prices - well, everyone has their hand out along here. We were in town somewhat last minute staying at Hotel Indigo. The hotel provides $10 drink coupons so we decided to drop in for an impromptu drink while planning our dinner strategy. It was already 7p so no view but live music and a nice buzzy ambiance. Wait staff were fast and friendly, and before we knew it two delicious cocktails were in front of us. At the same time, I overheard the waitress at the table beside us saying that food could be ordered from El Gaucho downstairs. So we asked for a menu and started perusing. If you don't know El Gaucho it's a classic steak restaurant with lots of cuts and sizes, a sprinkling of seafood, the usual salads, and tableside this and that. A notch above Ruth's Chris, Morton's or The Capital Grille but with Peter Luger Manhattan prices. Yes, that's right, Manhattan prices in Vancouver. WA. The Couv is all grown up. Or at least trying to be, Like Witness Tree, El Gaucho has a mandatory 20% gratuity regardless of party size. Theoretically this shouldn't be an issue if you know restaurant culture and tip appropriately but I think a mandatory fee rubs many wrong to assume service will always be at that level. And on top of very high prices. A $72 6oz filet is $86, so those 8 bites better be damn good. That said, we ordered oysters, a filet, seafood pasta, and wine. The wine list was decent but not as extensive for a premium steak restaurant. Wines had the typical markup which meant $20-35+ per glass. Both the pasta and steak were good but - and this may sound picky - at $72 for 6 ounces of steak (a bar of soap) I expect perfection which means medium rare throughout. The steak was medium in some parts. If I can achieve medium rare throughout at home it should be possible here. So here's the math (rounded) for those interested. Total bill: $295. $225 food and drinks, $45 service fee (mandatory 20%), and $24 tax (8.8%). Interestingly, the 20% service charge is taxed which means we actually paid $49 or 28.8%. Had I been given the choice of my own 20% tip it would be applied to food and drink and a slightly lower bill. Not a huge deal but these are the little details - call it "nickel and diming" patrons - that rub many wrong. One note - another server came to our table before our food arrived and placed a steak in front of me. Before he could place the other dish I told him it wasn't our order. He picked up the steak and delivered to another table. In most restaurants - and certainly in a premium setting - that dish should have been remade. Whether perception or simple hygiene you simply can't do that. All in all, the Witness Tree was a nice spot, with tasty cocktails and ambiance. Prices and service fee will be off putting for some, and not sure this would be my go-to as there are many rooftop / view options nearby.

Intentionally set earlier in the day understanding the significance of the day. (Been together over 20 years.) When we arrived my husband kindly requested a window table with view of the water. The woman taking the reservation info advised that she would try, but "so busy" etc. We were sat at a half circular booth that was facing water but set back from water. I just want to note there were 7 tables open at window seating. 3 of which were 2 tops. We did have 3, so essentially for us, 4 EMPTY tables could have accommodated our request. 2 remained empty the entirety of our meal. So I just can't understand why this request wouldn't be granted. Waitress we were assigned was amazing. On top of things, refills etc. We got the wing appetizer, cheese curds, and the wedge salad as appetizers. They were all good. The wings I would get with no sauce. The sauce on them was very ketchup reminiscent. For the entrees we both did the steak frites. Fries were amazing. The steak was sooooo tough. Medium rare didn't save them. Our child got the half pizza and demolished. For dessert we got the cookie with ice cream and the valentines special cheesecake. Both were delicious. Overall 3.5. Could use some help at front. If you don't realize you have that many free tables and could easily accommodate a paying customer the table they prefer, it just simply doesn't make sense. At the end, I did ask manager why we wouldn't be able to sit where we requested and there really was just no good reason. It was just a shrug like it was a busy day. Like I guess maybe saving for make believe guests?? LOL unreal. It's not often I would question things. But this was just absurd. Again, I need to say, our waitress was amazing. Food was fine. Just a very weird experience as far as seating. Like who are you saving those seats for?? Anywho. Enjoy!

We arrived right at 12 p.m., and many buffet items were already empty or close to empty -- smoked salmon, oysters, salad plates, and several other dishes. We waited thinking the food would be quickly replenished, but restocking was consistently slow throughout the entire meal. Even after multiple reminders, they would only bring out very small amounts at a time despite long lines of guests waiting. To their credit, the ambiance was nice. The Mother's Day decorations, live music, and small bracelet gift were thoughtful touches. However, the food quality and service simply did not justify the cost. At $100 per person plus service fees (close to $600 total excluding tips for our group of four), we expected a much more organized and well-stocked brunch experience. The most surprising part was that a steakhouse buffet didn't even include steak. Sadly, this experience made us question whether we'd return for their regular dining service.
