Worse customer service ever when an accident happens and the wrong information is given prior to pick up. They may not be concerned with the person that was injured and so on. I spoke to Hayden and Carter, Carter told me it would be 345.00 to pick up as long as I got it by the end of day on Friday 5/26/26 or it was going to have a lien put on it. Asked about payment and he said cash or check, I told him we would be there. Got there he was not there on Friday but Robin was; and the information he gave me was incorrect or he did not follow through on his part. They leined the vehicle, added another 250.00. Then they only take cash, off to the bank I went. The whole experience with this company sucked. When someone is injured you are trying your best to take care of things. Just wrong!!! read more

When I asked the woman to re check the VIN the said "I don't double and triple check my work" so after telling her it was fine and I'd call the State police to come check she went and double check only to fine she did enter the VIN wrong. Our car was involved in an accident and we went to the Tri-County Towing on Lyman Rd. to pick up our daughter's belongings from the vehicle. Though their site says: Proof of Ownership - Vehicle title, Vehicle Registration, Bill of Sale, Valid Insurance policy. We show up with a valid insurance policy and were refused access to our car. The guy at the Lyman location said he would only accept the car registration. If that is the case then why not update the website to save people a trip back and forth? The guy was completely unprofessional, uncaring, and either he needs to be retrained on to procedures of what the website claims OR Tri-County Towing needs to update their website. We live in an online world and not being properly informed cost us an extra 1 hour drive to get the Lyman location what they want. read more

I wish I could give this company a negative 1 star. The attitudes of the dispatchers/employees are horrendous!!! I'm out of state and my car got towed by this company. All I'm trying to do is to recover my car so that I can get the damages assessed. I was told to send them an email authorizing release of the vehicle to my insurance company and to NOT CONTACT the insurance company for tow until they respond back to my email. I emailed them on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:20 a.m., called twice to check the status and was told each time that someone was going to respond in a few seconds. It is now Saturday, January 28, 2023 and still no email response. I called them today at 9:21 a.m. to learn that they are closed and to call back on Monday. When I explained to the young lady who answered the phone that I'm from out of state and just need a response (per TC Tow's instructions) because I'm ready to contact Geico for the tow, her response was "we get emails from India and all over so how does that have any bearing on the situation? ' My response "it has much bearing when you tell a customer that they MUST wait for a written response back before taking action but then the company is NOT responsive!" Deplorable customer service, ignorant and I'm sure she wouldn't have stated that if she was in my shoes. I'm happy to write this review, another one on better business bureau and to escalate further if necessary. Each day that goes by proves my case. If they are not going to be responsive, then they should waive their policy for car owners to have to wait on them for a response. CHECK MY EMAIL and you will see my driver's license as verification of ownership and LET IT GO!!! I may catch a flight but if I do, the state of FL will pay me for my time and expenses as this can easily be resolved virtually if this company would simply be responsive!!! I do not recommend tricounty towing to any of my friends. I have been in a horrible accident and suffered a broken back. I called in today to see when I can recover my items and the woman on the phone completely cut me off telling me their hours. I then said again can I get my items. Due to her talking over me I could not here the hours and she goes I said 5pm. Really how am i supposed to hear you when you talk over me. I couldnt even get a word in. My fiance calls back to speak with a manager or owner and again she is rude. Ignores his request and talks over him and actually curses at him. She needs to be punished for her attitude. read more

Hands down worst customer service and experience with this company. Called this morning and spoke to the rudest representative I have ever dealt with. I was giving him the situation and his exact words were "Does it sound like I want to hear your FCKING problems this morning?!". I called the 24/7 line and I'm pretty certain I woke this man up at 7:30. I summarized my need and he assured me he was not going to allow this to happen then preceded to mock my story and judge based on the situation he clearly had no interest in hearing about. He told me to call back at 9am. My husband then drove there to pick up the trailer and the documents needed were inside the trailer and somehow MAGICALLY disappeared once the trailer was in Tri County's possession. The same man whose name I believe was James on the phone was the same excuse for an employee that was at the yard. Once he arrived at the yard there was also an unleashed PIT BULL who came at my husband and almost attacked him. This is 100% unacceptable customer service and overall experience. Even the deputy who was called to the scene to assist in the legality issues said this man was a pathetic excuse for an employee and this is a shady place. He would guarantee based on the attitude and the overall situation that they destroyed the document. I cannot believe anyone especially a county corporation would choose this company with such terrible customer relations and attitudes and overall unprofessionalism. On 12/22/21 at about 1 PM, my son was in an accident in Winter Park, FL which did great damage to my 2006 Marquis. He was able to drive off the main road to a side street. Winter Park, FL police called Tri-County Towing Casselberry to tow it, however. By the time the tow driver arrived I learned of the accident from my son. I requested Tri-County not tow my car because I had AAA. The police officer and tow truck driver told me that this was handled by my insurance company. I told them I did not have collision and asked where the car was going to be held so I could retrieve it. They told me 195 Lyman, Casselberry but continued to say this would be handled my insurance. I waited to hear from my insurance company on December 24th and they said exactly what I thought they would say. You don't have collision so the damaged car is your responsibility. I called to find out if I could pick up my car but they told me that they were about to close on the 24th and would not be open until the 27th (they claim to be 24/7 x 365) and my car would accumulate storage fees. I didn't have a ride to pick up the car on the 27th so on the 28th my other son drove me. I had to wait on a tow driver to arrive as the tow yard is not normally staffed it appears. I had the registration but could not locate my paper title so I could not salvage the vehicle at a quoted amount of $800 to pay the charges which I feel I should not pay ($360 = 165 tow, 120 recovery, 75 administrative) plus $245 storage (they conveniently count day towed and day picked up in the cost) Also the driver said $25 - $30 per day which turned out to be $35 per day. I did not authorize this tow so essentially they took my car forcing me to "buy" it back. I cleared out the vehicle of my younger son's belonging and I removed my license plate. The tow driver demanded I show my registration & license and told me he was filing a wrecker's lien and that would prevent me from registering another vehicle in my name. I then left. By phone they originally agreed to take a dup title but then later said + $400 which I am not willing to pay. On 1/5 I received a lien notice dated 12/29 that they are selling my car to satisfy the towing and storage fees. I feel this is theft as I wanted to use AAA to tow the car. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This happened at their Casselberry location on 10/22/2020. Their very rude and unprofessional. Not only to me but the State Farm agent as well. I went to pick up items from my truck on 10/22/2020 that was in an accident earlier that day. The guy (African American decent) was really rude and short tempered. I then called my State Farm agent to let them know I was there and that they could send someone to pick up my truck. Stephanie (my agent) placed me on hold to contact the the company. At first they were ignoring her calls. They had another number on the voice mail, which doesn't work. She called one last time and when the guy picked up the phone he didn't let her get a word in and was very rude to her. (Their calls are recorded, so this could be easily verified). So after I finished retrieving my tag and other items, I went back to take them their screwdriver. I asked the guy why was he rude to her. He face some lame excuse, which was a lie and when he realized I had her on the line he quickly walked away. I called the police. The officer arrives and I tell her what happened. So now it's a back and forth thing with the guy. So another guy (Caucasian decent) walks back and forth. He them says to my nephew (son), "Oh why don't you get in the truck", I then said to him "this does not concern you and to mind his business". So the officer says something. This dude tells my son to meet him in the road (as to fight him). So my son runs to the road (the officer was there to intervene). What he didn't know was that my son is a minor. So I told them I'd be reaching out to management because this is so unacceptable and very unprofessional. read more

I am writing this review for the same company who has the sister branch in Casselbery Florida. My experience was very bad with the Casselberry Branch. All I can say is avoid dealing with JAMES. He said he was the manager of the Casselberry branch and was extremely rude and very unprofessional. All I wanted was to release my vehicle to my insurance company and he had no patience to even return my greeting. He needs professional customer service training.
