Jerry Drove my Modded 80K corvette on a bed WITH SLIDES ON, DIDNT USE THE CORRECT BED OR A WENCH, and scrapped all my rims!! and bending them leaving me with a 800$ bill at the dealer ship for HIS damage. my rims are 10 thousand for a set!!! and Craig the boss refuses to pay for the damage to my vehicle. never called me back. took forever to get ahold of him. and when i did was a complete disrespect jack a$$!!! My car gave me issues the night before Thanksgiving and Brandon with Miranda's Towing arrived in a timely manor and towed me home. The entire process what very quick after Brandon arrived. Brandon went above and beyond by running a test and figuring out that my 3rd cylinder misfired. Brandon was very helpful in showing me where the problem was and gave me great ideas on how to fix the issue economically. Since it was the holidays, it would take days before a mechanic could fix my vehicle, but I was able to affordably and quickly fix the problem myself thanks to what I learned from Brandon. After a previous tow truck company was a no-call/no-show, I was frantically trying to find another towing service. I called my repair shop to tell them I was going to be late having my car dropped off due to what happened, and I asked them if they could recommend a reliable towing company. They gave me the number for Miranda's Towing and a tow truck was able to pick up my car within 90 minutes. My car is an AWD vehicle that was stuck in my garage, so I needed a specific type of tow truck to safely get the car out without damaging the vehicle and they got the job done without any problem whatsoever. Really glad that they were able to help me at the last minute and I plan to call them again if I'm ever in another unlucky situation. read more

I wouldn't recommend due to the workers that run the company. I got into a bad accident & my car was totaled. Pam released my car without my consent, & I found that out from my insurance. I called the shop & Pam decided to laugh in my face when I asked her a question about my vehicle & then lied too my face & said that I called her to release my car an hour ago, even though she released my car from 8:30 in the morning. On a road trip to Florida from Massachusetts we experienced a flat tire and were broken down on a very busy and scary road. My kids and I sat out on the grass while my husband called for help. Just like that a truck from your business showed up. An off duty gentleman stopped and helped us patch our tire and get off on our way. I wish we got his name (it was back in April). We still talk about your kindness and how appreciative we were of you being there when we needed you. Thank you so much for helping our family. I called the company personally and they said it would take 45 minutes which was complete bullsh*t because its been over 3 hours. I called the company again just to ask what happened and how much long I was met with the rudest employee. Who would reply to my questions with "ok and" "Theres other people on the road". Well thank you for absolutely nothing. Id rather be stranded on the road then have to ever get my car towed by this company. read more

AAA sent Miranda's towing out when my car wouldn't start today. They arrived quickly with a 5-10 min heads up call and took my vehicle and I to my dealership. The driver was so friendly and really took his time to explain things to me and make me feel comfortable riding with him. :) Highly recommend! read more

My car wouldn't start on my way to the Orlando International Airport. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it. My neighbor tried to jump start it, and it didn't work. AAA set up Miranda's towing. The driver was very pleasant and helpful. He checked the battery and gave me a jump start, which saved me from having to tow the car to a mechanic. Unfortunately when AAA is the 3rd party arranging the service, the town driver loses out on his better commission rate. Just call Miranda's yourself instead of using AAA. The first 5 miles of the tow is free anyway, with or without AAA. read more

DON'T USE THEM. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Horrible service. Disrespectful tower and purposely made difficult things for me on purpose. I told the driver that i was going to have to park the car face forward not reverse park the car when he dropped it off. Before he unloaded the car and before he got in the car to get the car off the truck I again told him to just drop the car off straight back because I have to park it face forward, but he intentionally reversed parked the car. I told him this like 5 times before he got in the car to drop the car from the towing truck. After he got out of the car I told him what are you doing I told you I had to park the car face forward and my dad told him he should help us. He said no its not my job. So I told him he was not getting a tip, to get out of here and that I was going to write bad reviews on his service. He made us push the car 8 different times because of this. Me and my father who is 65 and small had to push the car forward then back then forward then back 8 times to get the car parked. Terrible service. read more

The driver du jour Tom hooked my car up to the flatbed timely and without incident. He also was personable and reminded me of the extras I had w/AAA (which I had forgot about). Having just becoming a triple A member and never having to use it man we're we glad we joined the previous year as we needed our car towed recently and service was outstanding. Made our call and was told it would be an hour. Met our driver in about 20 minutes. And he loaded up my car so fast. Thought his name was Brandon but later he said it was Spencer. But he was able to get my car to our desired repair shop and was very polite and professional. Because of Miranda towing we will be renewing our triple A membership for next year. read more

Our car was in an accident on Easter Sunday and Miranda was there very quickly. Their assistance after the accident was most appreciated. They were very helpful in assisting us in getting our vehicle released to the insurance company and even loaned us tools to take off our license plate. I called AAA to have my car towed to get the tires replaced. This towing company shows up and picks up my BMW on a flatbed. My BMW is a low riding car. It is not altered, it's just a lower riding sports car. When lowering my car off the back of the truck they tipped the truck to far an nearly ripped off my front bumper. Two witnesses at the tire company SAW them do it (heard it, too). They denied it. I went to my own insurance carrier and paid my deductible to fix my bumper that was damaged WHEN I WASN'T EVEN IN THE CAR. Miranda's insurance company denied liability. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY!!!! They have no respect for your vehicle and absolutely NO desire to fix the damage THAT THEY CAUSED! I wouldn't even give them one star, but cannot advise you (the consumer) without it. read more

I had the worst ever experience with Miranda's last night. I called AAA at roughly 6 pm after i had gotten into an accident at 5:15 on I4 west. They told me my ETA would be an hour roughly but that I am bumped up to top priority because I'm on the Interstate and the accident was taking up the left lane. but no. I did not get towed until 9:30 PM. almost FOUR HOURS LATER. around 7:15 (my original ETA), i called Mirandas directly rather than AAA and pam was very kind and understanding on the phone but the driver (i didnt get his name but i could describe him) was so incredibly stupid. I gave him very specific instructions on how to get to my car on I4 and which exits to take and which lane to be in - he had tried almost everything else in the world before he tried my instructions- which worked. kind of. he was in the far right lane on I4 and passed my car by about 200 yards, so he decides to get up against the wall on the bridge over 434 and REVERSE UNTIL HE REACHES MY CAR. He then cuts right across i4. when i was speaking to him, he had no idea what happened, didnt know where it was going, nothing. he made it seem as if it was my fault for him not finding me. didnt even know if i should trust him with my car. read more

Check you reciept before you pay! So a guy that works for me wrecked his truck on july 5th... They got the call at 5AM. We went to pick it up on juy 7th at 8:30 AM and were charged for 3 days.... It was there MAYBE 49hrs. To add insult to injury they tried to charge me $25 for tarping the truck.... There was no tarp. Then they gave me some crap about it was there 6 hours past midnight and thats the law . The bill was almost $900 for a heavy wrecker and I get it... That truck probobly cost 1/2 millon dollars plus other expenses and I damed sure didnt expect them to drag it out for free but then they snake another $50 on the bill!The people there are nice enough and everythng but kind of a pain to deal with. Oh yeah.... CASH only. So "thats the law" but its cash only? Kinda suspect and really pissed me off. I would have gladly payed theyre merchant fees to run my debit card and not wast another hour of my time. read more

I wish I could less than 1 star. I called AAA to have my 2010 Mustang towed. My car is a low rider sports car which has not been altered. When the tow truck was ordered we made sure to speak with the tow company to advise them that they were picking up a low rider car. They advised it would not be a problem unless it had been modified (it has not). When they dropped the car off at the mechanic's shop they ripped the front bumper off of the clips breaking several clips. We called AAA and Miranda's and Miranda's agreed to pay for the damage. They towed the car to their pre-approved auto body shop only they did even more damage after the second tow. The second tow actually ripped the bumper off so violently that it TORE THE GRILL. The bumper can no longer be reattached, we need a completely new bumper. Now Miranda's is denying liability. WTF???? How can you admit to breaking the clips but then not admit liability when you made things worse the second time???? We are begging AAA and all of their customers to ban this towing company - especially if you value having a front bumper on your car. Read the other reviews - this isn't the first time they have done damage to a car. read more

I needed a car towed after having some engine issues, I called my triple A representative and they said they'd send someone out. They informed me that Miranda towing would be coming to assist my vehicle. My original time estimate was 9:38, and the tow operator arrived at 9:13, and he even called me personally to let me know he'd be early. I cannot speak more positively about the work tow operator Louis did! My Camaro sits slightly low to the ground, and Louis did everything right to make sure it was taken care of properly, even re-positioning the flatbed trailer a few times and using boards to ensure no damage occurred. I've had experiences with OTHER towing companies where they just slapped the cables on and hoisted it up, damaging the front end but Louis was the best. He does have a bit of an accent but is easy enough to understand, friendly, and a terrific worker! read more

I've called AAA quite a few times in the past few years. This last time, I had a blowout at the intersection of Rt. 419 and Lockwood Blvd. I was able to get my car into the riverside landings parking lot, with scared teenaged daughter with me. I called AAA. They sent Miranda's Towing, and they were there in under 10 minutes! The Driver, Doug, was WONDERFUL!!! He was the best, most helpful tow truck driver I have ever encountered. His cheery manner calmed my frightened child. He told me what shops were close, asked me which one I wanted to use. I can only pray that if I am ever stranded again, Miranda's will send this angel of a man, DOUG to me. I say Miranda's because they send a flatbed, which you surely want. read more

AAA assigned Miranda as the towing company to respond to my disabled classic car. AAA provided a text confirmation and a link to an app that showed the dispatch and estimated time of arrival, approx 1 and 1/2 hours after the dispatch. The estimate never updated and when the appointed time came, I called AAA again and they said Miranda was on a "high priority" towing job and it would still be at least 45 minutes. Miranda never contacted me as AAA said they would. After another hour of waiting, I had to obtain another company on my own and it was still another 2 hours before the tow arrived. Very poor customer interface and time estimates from the combination of AAA and Miranda. I'll never use Miranda; I may terminate my AAA membership. read more

So two weeks ago I had to get my car towed from my house in Geneva to Forsyth. Everybody was super nice and they got to my house relatively quickly- that's not the issue. The reason I am writing a bad review is because they are refusing to pay for damages to my property CAUSED BY THEM! I recently had a set of 8 drains installed at the edge of my property, heavy duty metal drains at that. They were in tact and NOT EVEN IN FOR A WEEK. The tow truck driver, when getting my car, sat his truck on them and bent/ broke SIX of the EIGHT drains. This past Friday the manager came out to asses the damage and told my mother "yes I'll pay for the damage, I'll have the check for you on Wednesday "- that's about $600. All is fine and dandy. Today I went to pick up the check, and now THEY ARE REFUSING to pay FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED!! The driver had seen the drains before he pulled all the way in my driveway, and saw that they were in tact, and as soon as he leaves they are bent? He's claiming he didn't do it- when in fact that is not true. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOWIMG COMPANY TO ANYONE- on the sole fact that the manager and owner have no integrity and no interest in keeping their word; or making it right- and by that I mean making the damage THEY caused right. read more

My sons car would not start up. We tried jumping it and nothing. We figured it must be the battery. So we called AAA and they sent Chris from Miranda towing. He asked if he could try and jump it even though we told him its just no use. He proceeded to open the hood and before he got the chance to try and jump it he spotted something wrong. A wire below the battery was dangling. This wire was pretty far down and not sticking out where just anyone would see it. Well he knew exactly what was going wrong. He showed my son what to do and although my son will have to get it repaired it saved him a lot of money and a lot of grief. He was able to get it started and drive it to the auto parts store. You know a mechanic had looked at it first and did not see what Chris saw. Aside from resolving our problem I wish to add that Chris is the nicest guy with a great attitude and a smile that goes from ear to ear. Love the fabulous service!!! Last week, I called for help out of a sand pit with my truck. I recently purchased a truck with 4 wheel drive and didn't know I had to "lock my hubs" to engage the system completely. Not more than 15-20 minutes later, a very kind young man (I wish I remembered his name) arrives at my barn and simply takes a pair of plier like tools and shows me how to lock in the hubs and engage my system, which was all new for me. Without a tow, my truck crawled out of the sand pit and I was off to my horse show. The kindest part was he called his boss and they did not charge me for the help. It is not often that you get superb service, and then to ice the cake, it was a free visit. Thank you to the very knowledgeable and kind driver, and a big thanks to the "boss" for the freebee. With all that is happening today, it was a great feeling to know that people still genuinely care and it's not always about the money. I am a customer of AAA. They called out Miranda's Towing. I was told that they would be out at 5:45pm. I heard my phone call and went to pick it up. It went to voicemail. It was a call from the driver with Miranda's Towing, they stated the driver was in front of my house. My Dodge Caravan's hood was open and a charger was hooked up. It should have been OBVIOUS that this was the house she was coming to. I ran outside and the driver had already left!! My street is very narrow and my house is in a Cul-de-sac with several cars parked on the street. The is NO WAY the driver could have turned their large tow truck around in the space of the two minutes it took me to walk out of my house. I will NEVER USE THIS WORTHLESS TOW COMPANY AGAIN. They never showed up at my house. When I called AAA to have Miranda's Towing come out they told me it would take another 2 hours for them to drive back. Clearly, Miranda's Towing had a more profitable tow to pick up or they would have turned around and drove the 5 minutes back to my house. Just read the reviews- see the $900.00 charge review from another unhappy customer. Don't let AAA push this towing company on you!!! I would rate this company NEGATIVE 100 if I could. Witnessed a spanish employee of Miranda's Towing do a terrible job redirecting traffic at a local fast food restaurant. Instead of blocking traffic with a cone since he was removing a broke down truck in the drive through he blocks traffic with his truck making customers back around a sharp bend. When a frustrated patron gets upset this gentleman decides to taunt the elderly woman because she expressed her frustration of making the difficult maneuver INCLUDING QUESTIONING HER RELIGIOUS VIEWS. My first time ever writing a review, but I felt the injustice severe enough that I felt obligated to forge an account. My experience with Miranda's towing was an expensive one. I'm a college student living paycheck to paycheck, so the blatant extortion I was subjected to compelled me to seek this media justice. First off, I'll stipulate to initially being in the wrong, I parked in a company's parking lot over night down the street from where I was staying because the town house community I was visiting ran out of there 18 parking spots and there was no room left in my friends driveway. My issue is not with being towed, or having to pay for it, but I've been towed before and never has it cost me so much. When I called to report my car being towed, as soon as i'd found out 4:30 the next day, I was told the price was $160 dollars if I could be there within the next thirty minutes, otherwise it would $185 the following day. By the time I could find someone to take me to pick up my vehicle I had exceeded my thirty minute window. When I reviewed the bill they had charged me $50 in storage fees and $10 for the gas they used in their commute, all on top of the $125 towing fee. When I signed the bill, I could feel every eye in their sketchy backwoods establishment holding their breath to see if I would actually do it. The system implemented at Miranda's towing takes blatant advantage of their position of authority and extorts money from those they assume will be compliant. Way to further the stereotype of dishonest towing companies Miranda's towing, keep up the shady work. read more
