Margaritas cannot be delivered, but are on the menu. My uber driver had to tell me this after I placed my order- while he was picking up my order. All I asked for was NO BEANS- my burrito did not have rice nor cilantro, it barely had 2 half slices of tomato and 2 small slices of avocado on half of the burrito. For everything they left off of my burrito, they added lettuce (not pictured and not mentioned in my order) the meat was super dry and a bit crusty and the tortilla was stale. The picture shows meat, beans, rice plus cilantro, tomato/pico and avocado but it looks more like guacamole. SUPER BUMMED! No margarita and a legit white girl wrap- definitely not a burrito. This is a very cool little place hidden away by the big HEB on McPherson. I came here after seeing they had some plant-based options tucked away between all the meats! My Miller Lite was cold and the service was super attentive. I was lucky to get a table in this tiny spot and it wasn't until the meal started that I noticed they had a small bar in here. I ordered the mushroom tacos lunch combo, which came with beans. The Frijoles Puercos, on the menu, are listed as what in English means "pork beans." The beans came with chunks of smoked pork and some sausage in them. Absolutely ridiculously delicious. My mushroom tacos were good, but not loaded up much. Still, though, they hit the spot. On a wild hair I also ordered a fideo taco - fideo being a Mexican pasta and comfort food. It basically is a legit Mexican version of a spaghetti taco. The taco was difficult to eat neatly, but I managed to get it all down. If I ever find myself back in Laredo, I would definitely return. The experience here was unique. read more

Ahhh, one of those trendy modern taco spots. And when it's Taco Tuesday, it's a reliable option. And you can order online. So of course that's what I did. Seeing the menu, I saw the suadero which called my name as it's got a smooth texture and I recall watching a Taco Chronicles episode dedicated to the meat as the "mexican cousin to beef brisket". Of course I went for that; after arriving to pick up the goods, I went back to my hotel and unwrapped to dig in. So the packaging was a red flag to me as it's stacks of meat and tortillas upon stacks of meat and tortillas. That happens when you're packaging tacos in a bowl. I prefer my tacos individually wrapped or packaged where they are assembled side by side. So now the tacos are uneven with the meat ratio. After having reassembled them and adding the onions/cilantro (which came on the side) and some of that green salsa, my eating took place. The suadero is tasty but texture-wise was dry (thank goodness for that salsa). A plus was they provided me a good amount of meat on the tacos and I received 4 instead of 3; a pleasant surprise. While these aren't the best in Laredo, I'd be open to trying other things here again next time; and I'll probably eat at the location instead of bringing it back with me. read more

Stopped by the other day for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food! Food: 5/5 I had a gringa tremendo taco, I believe it was cheese and al pastor. It also came with cilantro and onion, and 4 different salsas (at the table regardless of what you order). Yea... It was $6, but also it was a meal on its own, so totally worth it in my opinion. Also got the corn appetizer which was unique in that it came with corn chips mixed in and a spicy sauce. It was actually really good, and the quality of the corn was good too. Service: 3.5/5 They were quick to seat us but took forever with the check. Maybe it was just a one time thing, but was our experience nonetheless. Setting: 4/5 Nice, modern and clean. Walking in, I was intrigued by the decor and the layout. I love that this restaurant is setting the standard for more modern and up to date establishments with affordable eating. I must say that I was let down by the menu, as it did not offer much description so then we had to bombard the waitress with all of our questions. She did an excellent job at answering all of our questions. And she was very attentive to us . I ordered the barbacoa torta. It was delicious. The bollio cake toasted with the cheese melted into a crust on the inside with the barbacoa layered on top of it along with avocado. My spouse ordered the mollete with barbacoa, it's essentially the same thing as the torta except with more barbacoa. *I recommend getting the mollete rather than the torta only due to portions* we also tried the torta de milanesa, it was pretty tasty, nothing out of the ordinary torta that you can get anywhere else. They offer craft coffee beverages agua fresca and fountain beverages as drinks. Prices were fair and I would def come back! read more

Tremendo Taco is well named!! Phenomenal food, great service and nice, clean environment. I had the trompo and carnitas mulas. They serve it with 6 different sauces, all delicious, not too spicy.
