Came in for lunch and was greeted promptly and asked to find seating where comfortable. The scene is very quiet and calm with good lighting and decorative displays on the walls. I came with two friends, one ordered the quesadilla+chicken and rice The other the 5 taco combo with beans. I ordered a Gringa à la carte as well as a "pirata" taco à la carte. Overall everyone agreed the food was great in taste and came out hot which is good. We hate to give one star - however, our food was not good. We ordered choriqueso - the cheese was poor quality and tasteless. For tacos we ordered a la carte - carne asada and chicken tacos both needed more seasoning as we could not differentiate which was which. The pastor taco was ok but pales in comparison to many other pastor tacos. The brisket taco was decent and had a good fat to meat ratio which you would expect in Mexican brisket. The only good taco out of the five that we ordered was the sirloin fajita and deserves a 3 star on its own. Finally, the location itself is pretty and well decorated. read more

I'm so happy that my coworker recommended this restaurant! I called in an order for pickup, a nice lady answered speaking Spanish. She was so patient as I struggled to ask questions and give her my order speaking Spanglish lol. I ordered brisket tacos, chicken tacos and a loco taco. My order was ready right on time, just a few minutes after I arrived. The ladies inside were busy taking and pumping out pickup orders, but they were kind and greeted me with a smile. My husband and I were starving after running errands around town and we devoured everything as soon as we got home before I had a chance to take a picture. I'll definitely order again soon. This restaurant deserves a higher rating, especially since the current ratings are few and outdated. read more

We visited Cinco villa July 16,2022 for the first time ever. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's mostly Mexican but food was very tasty and tasted fresh. I recently traveled to Laredo on business. I just happen to drive by Cinco Villa. As I was very hungry at time, I walked in to check it out. Immediately, the cleanliness and friendly staff impressed me so I felt compelled to look at menu. I loved the menu because it was not to large and confusing. The super courteous cashier took my order and much quicker than I expected my lunch was ready. OMG it was the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I have been eating traditional Mexican food my whole life and this was by far the tastiest and most unique. I almost want to move to Laredo so I can eat Cinco Villa everyday. clean the grill!!!!!!! The food always has BLACK from the grill. I posted some pictures so you can see. We have asked them like 25 times to please not put black pieces of burnt beef from the grill on our chicken but those ladies don't listen. This place is a hit and miss. More miss than hit. Servers have the worst attitude. And yeah the lettuce tacos are tasty, but the chicken should at least be warm. This makes me believe it's sitting in tubs and not freshly made. This particular date I ordered fajita panchos. How can you go wrong? Well, it was very wrong. They were chips placed, then some Munster cheese, which should melt nicely, and then doused with bean soup. Refried they were not! As far as fajita was concerned...it was minimal. I could have put the total amount of fajita on a table spoon. This was cold too. The cheese that should melt with ease...didn't... Did I mention the moody servers? This place tastes good. Pretty popular. Moderate prices but my wife's gotten food poisoning twice which will not take this from a coincidence to a place we never go. Just be careful and I'd stay away from chicken. I always get beef and haven't gotten sick from the food. read more

Food is good here. Good service. Food comes out quick. The only draw back. Sometimes a little greasy. The green sauce is too spicy.
