The tacos are amazing from this restaurant. I got one trips taco, one fajita, and one molleja taco. The tacos themselves were 5/5. I wish they were served with more meat but flavor is amazing. The salsa and chips are good, but a little too oily at this visit. Otherwise great service and locations is in a hot spot of town with plenty of seating. read more

Their workers were great and kind. It was pretty clean, but just for me and my two daughters to get a plate each and a drink came out to roughly $45 so was rather pricey. After we got back home a few hours later though my daughters stomachs were hurting and one threw up we don't really know if it was from there or something else they both happened to eat buttt.. overall was a pretty ok place read more

As I was heading into Laredo after many years away and I happened to notice that my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant had been razed where a BANK now stood After I concluded my business downtown I headed out. But I was starving. What to do. What to DO!! I pulled up Yelp and started searching. I saw the Taquitos Ravi menu and decided to give it a whirl! Best. Decision. Of. The. WEEK!! (Of the YEAR in all probability!) ¡¡¡Ajjjuaaaa!!! ¡¡¡Taquitos Ravi tiene tacos y platillos espectaculares!!! ...y el flan casero te hará LLORAR de plano... I apologize that I can't provide pictures of the beautiful tacos (I had Al Pastor and Brisket followed up by the Milanesa Taco) but I was so famished these completely disappeared in a matter of seconds! They were stupendous even though extra was charged for the avocado and sour cream on the Milanesa. The chips were homemade, as is everything else in the restaurant, and the smokey green sauce is to DIE for...just a subtle burn that lets the essence of the open fired jalapeño and green tomato sing. (I took some home but finished off the chips at the table!) There was a steady stream of clientele coming in to pick up their take out. There are 18 tables in some configuration or another and when I walked in there were two large groups (6 & 8, respectively) with children in tow but all was relatively quiet...I guess because everyone had food in their mouths!! The kids looked happy but there was no Children's menu, necessarily so I'm guessing children love these wonderful flavors as much as the adults do! There's a tv in the ceiling corner but quite unobtrusive...in fact I didn't even notice it's existence until I counted the tables! The staff misses nothing and work as a team at all times...very attentive to empty drink glasses or the need of extra salsa, limes or chips. Decor is not necessary because then that would add to the cleaning chores so no brightly colored Mexican cut out papier mache 'flags' hanging from cords and strung across the ceiling. Taquitos Ravi concentrates on doing 2 ...no, THREE things very well: GREAT food, outstanding attention to the customers needs and a clean environment!! PS! Their homemade flan (which thank God I overheard a customer ask about!) was SO good I actually cried (no hyperbole here) because it SO reminded me of my grandmother's flan.... just sat there while tears streamed down my face. How embarrassing. I don't care. Wouldn't have missed this for anything!! The waitress told me that the owners nephew makes the flan. They also have cheesecake which, in view of how exceptional everything else was, it's probably outstanding but if I were to try and stuff anything ELSE in my mouth it would have to be another flan....! read more

So I really wanted to give this place a higher score as their food was so good, especially the Al pastor (trompo) tacos and tortas. However, what ruin the experience is the attitude of the employee when questioning an extra charge. There are details but for a specific item that we got a specific detail was missing. Supposedly the charges were for ordering a torta all the way. The torta was 7.49 but we said all the way and they added .50 for one small Jalapeño on the side which no where was stated of this! I ain't crying for $.50 but the manner in which the lady at the counter explained it just seem rude to me. So to be a one time visit in this small town not sure if I would ever come back here. Doesn't look like much, but I was on the edge of hunger and starvation. Let me tell you, these tacos was the Bomb.com I got 10 pastor tacos Togo and two Mexican cokes. The onion and cilantro,lime . they put on the side so you can add to your specific liking. These were the juiciest tacos I've ever had and wish I lived closer to come back again. We were passing through town at lunch time and found this place on Yelp. It said they specialize in Tacos al Pastor. We had never heard of it so after we googled to find out , it sounded good so we decided to try it. Wow! Am I glad we did. This is a very small place and everything is in Spanish. We were the only Gringos for miles. Our server was super friendly and helped us understand what we were ordering. We started out with chips and green sauce. Then we ordered the Pastor Special for two people. We got two meats and an order of ribs on the side. Came with 10 Tortillas, 2 bowls of frijoles Charros, Guacamole and 2 Carnes a Escoger. Our server brought everything out quickly and it ws fresh, hot and scrumptious. We ate until we were stuffed and had plenty left so we asked for togo boxes to have leftovers for later. This was the best authentic Mexican food we have had since we've been traveling out west for the past 3 weeks. Don't miss this place if you want to have the best food around. read more

Definitely stop by this place for some good, cheap Mexican food. I randomly drove by it on my way out of Laredo and decided to stop in. It's a pretty small restaurant, but it does have a small parking lot in the park. When I walked in, it was packed with what looked like people taking their business lunch break. So it's definitely a casual, fast but yummy food spot. Chips and salsa were delicious. The tacos and taquitos were also really good. Aside from those items, I ordered a torta with beef. I've never had a torta before so I don't know if this place has good tortas compared to other places, but I thought what I had was delicious. Would definitely visit here again. It seemed like one of those hole-in-the-wall type places that served good, cheap food but one that you don't have to worry about getting diarrhea from the next day. read more

I had high hopes after looking at the reviews. I ordered the flautas, and it was probably the wrong thing to order considering they tasted like they had just been taken out of the freezer and were still cold and the chicken was tough. Three people each with a dish and soda should not cost $40+. The people were nice except for the guy who went outside to look through the windows of my car to see what was inside. I parked in their parking lot next to the front door. The food was nice and felt homemade but the server forgot most of the sides that came with the food. It could have been three stars without the creepy guy from in the restaurant that wanted to break into my car and that it was twice as expensive as it should especially considering there are Mexican restaurants everywhere there read more
