Good drinks, great vibe. Didn't try the food trucks but have heard great things. Bartenders knew what they were doing and keep drinks full.

Highly recommend this establishment ! Very pleased with the service, food and ambiance !…read more The servers were very nice and helpful and quick to check on our table ! The food was fast and delicious ! My baby boy loved the pesto pasta and salmon as we shared it. My mom also ate all of her food as well and said how good it was. Will def be going again sometime in the near future !

This is a classy restaurant in the north part of town, but it is also located near my client's…read moresite. It made for an easy choice when it came to a lunch option. The prices here are reasonable compared to Houston or Dallas, for example, but most everything is a la carte, so you can spend a lot quickly if not careful. My eyes were set on the seabass ceviche, so I know I had to have that. I also wanted a cocktail, but I remembered I had a long drive ahead of me, so I just opted for more food instead. I ordered the corn flake fried chicken sandwich. Ceviche - a nicely sized portion that comes with 2 crispy tortillas. Inside the ceviche are finely diced carrots, red onions and cucumbers, cilantro, sliced avocado, and numerous pieces of diced fish and lime juice at the bottom. 5/5 Chicken sandwich - served on a plate with 2 sliced yellow cherry tomatoes sitting face down. This has a large breast, with pickles and cole slaw. 3/5 This is my kinda place, and it seems fairly unusual to find a restaurant like this in Laredo of all places. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Laredo.

So very disappointed with service, marketing, and meal. I came from California and wanted to have…read moresomething nice and unique. The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service. As a restaurant professional in California, I can't figure out if it's just a Texas thing or they rate everything high or this restaurant truly is deserving of its accolades..

We had drinks at the bar to begin with and even ordered a few appetizers that were fantastic!! The frog legs and the charbroiled oysters! I could have ended my night right there but elected to remain at the bar and ordered the Tomahawk for 2. In all the excitement I only took pictures on Snapchat and have none to share here! I guess I have to return!

I wish I would have checked Yelp before going. Seeing their rating, after the fact, I'm not surprised that they're rated so low. Staff was cold and unwelcoming when we walked in at about 7pm on a Thursday night. Place was pretty dead. The staff was standing around chit chatting. When our waiter came over, we asked some questions about the menu, before ordering. Waited forever for the food to come out even though there was only 2 other tables. Orders were wrong when they finally arrived, and did not match what the waiter described at all. Service was poor. A lot of chit chatting among staff at the front end of the restaurant. Staff was poorly trained and likely poorly managed. Had the sushi which was pretty mediocre. Serving size seemed huge, but then quickly realized the roll was overloaded with rice and skimped on the good stuff (shrimp, crab, avocado, etc...) Pricing didn't seem to add up. I won't be going back. Ambiance is good. It's well decorated but the other shortcomings overshadowed the nice ambiance.

The service was the best I've ever experienced at a restaurant. On top of that, they even let me watch the football game. I truly felt like a VIP here--highly recommended! Pedro S.
