I had a great experience here. A few girlfriends and I had a spa day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We stayed at the Houstonian so we were able to walk to the spa; however, there is a parking garage for the spa and is a short walk away. Upon entering, you are greeted promptly and checked in. We were given a quick tour and then proceeded to change into our room. The ladies room's attendants were very accommodating and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We all came for massages and was pleasantly pleased with the services received. After the massages we stayed in the tranquility room that is designated for waiting before and after massages. There's tea, coffee, water and small snacks. After massages we changed into our bathing suits and we to the outdoor pool area where we enjoyed the heated pool. There is also wine bottles that is available for purchase as well as food. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will absolutely return!

There are two of these relaxation heated pools. There are signs on the fence in the background stating which pool is hot or warm.

Went for couples 60 minute massage. Be conscious of your time. It literally begins while they walk you to your room and explain the protocol. They allow you to quickly change. (So that you can get close to your full 60 minute massage limit). So don't take too long otherwise it gets cut out of your time. The ladies were amazing and adhere to your comfort style. I'll come back with their names. When done, you must quickly change and out the door. They are mindful that people have appointments. But after that, you can relax in the sauna, relaxation pools, and even lounge area for as long as you need to. That's truly the cherry on top!

A spa day is a real treat for me, and I have especially high expectations when treatment prices are high and a service charge is tacked on prior to a service being performed. Overall, I had a good experience at Trellis, but I wouldn't say it was outstanding. I opted to have the Trellis signature facial and the Trellis signature massage done. The massage was great! The facial was fine... I have definitely had better before. It was more of a face and neck/shoulder massage than a cleansing facial. Trellis is one of the few places left in Houston where you can get an all out "spa experience." After having my treatments, I lingered for a bit to enjoy the outdoor whirlpool, indoor steam room/hot tub and the soaking pool. The space isn't huge and it got pretty busy quickly. I would probably invite a friend to join me next time. The ladies' locker room was clean but could probably use a facelift soon. Trellis was a solid 4 stars for me until it came time for check-out. There's no other way to say it except: their booking system is extremely antiquated. I thought my treatments had been paid for, and they had not. It did leave a blemish on the entire experience as I also encountered someone at check-out that wasn't the nicest and clearly needed a bit more training before being trusted to man the desk. I sent them a message and it was addressed, but sadly the damage had already been done.

This was my first time visiting Trellis spa at the Houstonian! My experience was great from beginning to end. My masseuse listened to what I wanted and delivered! The facility is beautiful and love the services everyone provides. They give you complimentary items as well to make your visit more comfortable. The water amenities was my favorite part they have a warm pool, hot pool and cold plunge pool. You can also order food and beverages. I will definitely be back! Keep in mind gratuity is automatically included to ensure your masseuse receive a tip.

Had such a great experience with the gel manicure service. Linda was so sweet and has such amazing attention to detail. I don't have much in the way of nails yet she still went above and beyond to spend time shaping them and making sure they are perfect! Wish I lived closer so I could see her more frequently! Also a beautiful facility with such helpful women at the front desk!

Nestled on large sprawling wooded grounds, near a country club, lies this massive spa, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My friend who was visiting from out of town had made a reservation for herself. I decided to spend some time with her. And enjoy a relaxing experience, so I made myself a resy as well. I noted all of the reviews that had said this place was falling off. And that regulars were disappointed by the change. So I went in with eyes wide open. This was my first visit, so I had nothing to compare it to. So, I'll base my review on a few components (similar to my food reviews). Massage - Vanessa was my therapist, I think she was partially deaf, as she had what looked like a cochlear implant. Super easy to communicate with. She was great. She listened to my desperate plea for relaxation. She gave the pressure I desired and did not just do what she wanted to do. While it was a little bright with lights in the room, overall a positive experience. I love that they had 3 different oils I could choose from. I chose the relaxing sent. I also love that I had control over the music, there is multi different categories, and I chose the most relaxing station I could find. Those were nice touches to me. Service- while I did not get a tour of all the grounds, I would have appreciated this as it was my first visit, and the place is so massive. Check-in and check-out were easy enough. My friend had an "attendent" with her, which she enjoyed. But FYI, there is an attendent fee for having them stay with you throughout the visit, which makes sense. There was staff inside the massive changing room that can assist you in finding your locker, getting you slides etc. So in my opinion, it was good service. Amenities - I wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it was smaller than I expected. And there were already 2 people in there, so it was full. They do have a large outside area. But my friend was worried about mosquitos. So we stayed inside at the indoor wade pool. It was cold, sad. The upstairs waiting area is where they serve food/drinks while you wait for your services to start. My friends thoughts were similar to other reviews in that the place has changed, ans not as much "special attention to service" as she was used to have. FYI: They do charge an automatic 22-23% to the services for tip of the therapist. So you don't have to worry about calculating this at the end.

Another fabulous spa in the Houston area. Trellis Spa is located in The Houstonian Hotel and my friend wasn't lying when she said it was one of the best spas she's ever been to - and - one of the top rated in Houston! This place is great! I had the opportunity to play a bit of hooky from work in mid-October 2021 and took full advantage, booking the 50-minute CBD massage and relaxing at the facility on the stunning grounds complete with the soaking pools and garden, refreshing boozy popsicles, decent treats/appetizers, attentive service, awesome hot tubs and pools, and comfortable chairs! My 50-minute massage was great and I was truly relaxed all day long. I could have easily spent even more time at Trellis! My favorite, favorite spot was the Tranquility Room. I loved the variety of options - you can spend time inside relaxed in front of a fireplace or go outside and bask in the sun while soaking in a pool. Yes, their motto holds true - Trellis is unlike any spa in Houston! Highly recommend!

The foot spa was my favorite room were you can soak your feet in water good for blood circulation & relaxation but the water didn't stay hot for long. I would not recommend going on a Saturday as the rooms can get packed. Also the parking lot is not suitable for the size of the venue & they had a orange trailer taking up 10 parking spot so it made it difficult for me to find a parking spot. I had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to leave for a spot to come available Uniforms will be given socks may be purchased for $1

Blossom Massage has all those, and has been around for a decade-plus with a great reputation. Dunno WHAT took me so long to check them out, but I recently bought a couples massage (which included all-day pool access) as a Christmas gift for my beau. We planned on getting there an hour before our massage to enjoy the hot tub (they requested that we call ahead to let them know and get the heat going). Our massage started promptly on time, and we both opted for deep tissue. I had Deanne, who specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage (according to her bio on the website)... and let me say she has some STRONG hands. She found all my tension and pain-points and loosened me up. I was honestly a bit sore for days, but in a good way. A great reminder I need to take care of my body post workouts and after long days at the desk... My biggest feedback for them would be to have more info on their website about the pool access and what's offered (towels, robes) and how long we have pool access (it's all day, btw). Before booking, I had to call to get that info; it's be more convenient to add all of that info to their FAQ page. They also allow you to bring snackies, so I brought a fruit, cheese, and tinned fish spread. Also, wondering if they had hot tea service. That's always a nice touch post-massage. Looking forward to booking again!

The area was very clean and plenty of towels. You receive a bathrobe and slides. There is soap/shampoo in the shower. Also sun block is available which I was surprised by, but appreciative of. Right outside the men's area is the waiting area for your services. Also very clean and peaceful. Massage: Nick was my masseur, he was great. He checked in a couple times to make sure pressure was right. Great experience. After my massage I went out and hung out by the pool for a bit. You have access with spa services. First you store your shoes in a locker, then you get a set of pajamas. Afterwards you go into the locker room to shower (nude, communal area) and can go into the different baths, both hot and cold. After we worked up a sweat, my friends and I ate at their restaurant and enjoyed Korean specialties like sweet milk punch, corn cheese, cold noodles, and stone bowls. They were a bit on the pricier side for a cafeteria-style place but the dishes hit the spot. After we ate, we enjoyed more relaxation time going through the different rooms. My favorite was the room with the warm clay balls and the ice room. To cap off our day, we enjoyed ice cream cones. They were simple, nothing too fancy, but they were exactly what we needed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We went on a weekday so it was not too busy, though there were still 2-3 others with us in each room at any given time. I can imagine it would be very annoying with more people, as even some rooms had our peace interrupted by someone on the phone (even was with one guy that was on a Teams meeting...?). The rooms have a good variety of themes and very mild differences in temperature, and they are all mixed-gender. I tried every room, including the fire room (you either adjust to it or you don't haha) Overall, I'd come back with a friend or group, but the experience with the nuts definitely turned me off of ordering any food here. Lots of great places nearby so just come for the spa experience.
