We went during off hours (3:00pm Saturday) and the entire place was empty but we weren't allowed to sit inside and then they sent outside which was also empty but not allowed to sit on any of the many empty wooden tables. This was so weird. They were nice but made it very obvious that we weren't welcome. Food was fine. But when you go out out you pay for the food and the experience. Will not return. The Trellis burger is a solid one! There are lots of styles of burgers and this one is a diner-style. They used to add pastrami to it but they don't have pastrami anymore. The fries that accompany the burger are top notch as well. (And Monday night is burger night, so that's cool!) They French dip is also very good. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch and we were seated promptly. We were pleased by the atmosphere and the menu provided enough variety to cover all bases. I enjoyed the albacore tuna melt sandwich, fries and coffee. My wife was pleased by a short rib sandwich and Evolution beer. The wine & beer list covered most preferences. I must have passed it by in the past but it's directly across the road from an AM/PM fuel station. Dundee is growing, evolving, and Trellis is evidence of that. This place had some of the best food we have had in awhile. Outdoor seating was casual and a perfect place to unwind after an already relaxing day wine tasting. The oysters were small but extremely tasty, they were served with diced apple which was surprisingly delicious. The steak frites was perfectly cooked and quality. Patio gas heaters were all out of gas so made for a chilly outside experience. 4 of us ordered the Eggs BeneDuck, featuring duck eggs. But they didn't have any; had to ask for a discount from the listed price which $2 off was granted. Corn fritters were good, short rib hash was uninspired. $9 prosecco? Really?
