I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I was disappointed with my experience. I have given this salon several opportunities, hoping each visit would improve. What led me to write this review was that a newer technician cured excess gel onto my skin during my Gel-X application, leaving my skin attached to my nail. This is a serious safety concern and may increase the risk of developing a gel allergy. I also left with several small cuts around my cuticles from filing, and the curing process caused significant burning. I wish I had spoken up during my appointment, but I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and places greater emphasis on safer application practices moving forward. It's disappointing that the quality of the experience seems to depend heavily on which technician you are scheduled with, because the salon itself is very cute and in a great location. read more

They were able to accommodate us same day. Unfortunately the gel manicure wasn't done well. He didn't get close to the cuticle so it looks grown out. The tips of the nails are white, the color has seemingly worn off. It's been 2 days and it's already chipped. I paid an additional $10 for cat eye effect and instead of a cat eye, it's a big X on my nails. Pretty disappointed overall. I used to like this salon, seems the quality went down. read more

Was here yesterday. Terrible experience. Requested Carly, did not get Carly. This was just the beginning. I requested builder gel with extensions. I expected my natural nail to be cut, however, it was not cut. The gel was applied erratically, resulting in some on my hand, and on my cuticles. Then, in the UV lamp, there was a terrible burning sensation. It felt as if my fingernails were melting off of my hand. I've never experienced this at other salons. When I got home, I noticed this large gap between my natural nail and the extension. A very noticeable gap. A great breeding ground for fungus. I had notified the tech, and it was treated as it wasn't a dire situation. For a walk in friendly salon, they sure like to make you wait to get the gaps fixed. I was expected to wait three days. Fungal infections wait for no man. I ended up having to shower with gloves on. Terrible. I ended up going to a different salon the next day. The tech told me that the tips were applied completely wrong, and that the tips should've been applied onto a cut nail. Overall, would never come back. I was deceived by good reviews. I have been getting my nails done professionally for well over 10 years and this is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. Mike and Linda are professional, the salon is spotless and it is a quiet relaxing environment. Many other nail salons I've been to are often noisy and don't honor appointment times, but that is not the case at Treesdale Nail Spa. Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment (especially on weekends and around back to school), but I know that my appointment time will be honored and I will enjoy a professional experience every time. The quality of service is also top notch. I get pink and white on my nails and it lasts for at least three weeks (and actually still looks good!). My nails never fall apart; an experience I've had previously with several other salons. The prices are also very reasonable for the high quality of service. I never feel that I am overcharged. I really can't recommend this place enough! read more

They stay on schedule but never seem rushed and my nails stay on for over 3 weeks. I almost never wait that long but once in a while I have to and there is no problem. They blocked my moms number from being able to make an appointment after being a costumer for years, even when they were previously at a different location. The reasoning was because she was a no show one time due to a family emergency. So.... if you are having trouble making an appointment, might want to try a different number and name. read more

I am admittedly a snob about nails and care about detail. I have been scouring Allegheny county for a nail spa comparable to the amazing ones I used to go to in LA. I'd even drive my ass all the way into town in the hopes that something would be better there. Nothing, nada until - blessed be - Treesdale Nail Spa! Mike did my gel mani and pedi and was such a pro. I was in and out in an hour and everything was perfect, painless, and pristine. Also, he reiterated to me how they keep their appointments and pride themselves on that which is rare (and an incredibly frustrating part) of nail places these days. I have paid the same price at other salons for absolute miserable service and atmosphere so I was shocked when TNS was the same price and far above the rest.
