This is my new favorite nail place. All purple themed. The prices are so reasonable but you still get all the bells and whistles. There were flowers in my foot soak and I had green tea. I got a complimentary massage with my nails which I chose the "cateye" design for something new and fun.

Best nail salon in the area! I've visited this salon several times and am NEVER disappointed. I wanted a Gel X manicure with an intricate design. Alisa was AMAZING and did a wonderful job. Could not have asked for a better atmosphere. Very calming and relaxing, full of friendly staff. Great experience, will always return to Selah!

This was my first time visiting this salon. I called that day for an appointment for a gel manicure with a Halloween design. As soon as I got off the phone, I received a confirmation text with my appointment information. As soon as I arrived I was seated with Jubilee. Another technician got me polish samples while Jubilee wrapped my nails to soak off my polish. I provided her with a picture of the design and she replicated it very well. After my manicure Jubilee gave me a short back massage and then a hand massage. I would definitely recommend them. The salon is clean and fresh. The girls were very sweet and friendly. They are very professional and wear uniform scrubs. The salon is a multi service salon offering everything from nail and pedicure services to lashes, waxing and facials.

I got the gel-x nails. The application was so easy! They do charge a little extra if you get coffin shaped but over all I'm very happy with my nails! I'm hoping these will help grow out my natural nails and will last longer than my gel polish does. Would recommend these if you're looking for longer nails but you don't want to damage your natural nails!

This salon is always so welcoming. You're greeted with smiles and makes you feel right at home. I have been going to Selah for about a year now and I can only say wonderful things about it. Selah is my favorite place to go when I need a nail reset! They do such a detailed job with tidying my nails. I've gotten my gel nails removed here many times and each time, it's clean and precise and I love how they put focus and attention on making my nails look nice. I've recently been obsessed with their structure gel. I've gotten it 3 times within the past 3 months. It holds up so well and even though I use my hands frequently in my job, I find that my nails hold and don't chip even after 2-3 weeks! I'm also a huge cat-eye/magnetic nails fanatic! I visited Pittsburgh over the holidays and checked Selah's availability based on reviews. Their online system made it easy, and I even received a reminder call a day or two ahead of my appointment. In addition, on the day of the service, they called to see if I wanted to come in earlier, as they had availability. Karen, the manager was great and offered me coffee and tea when I settled in. My technician, Esther, was great and very detail oriented during my gel+dip manicure. The salon was very clean and their service was overall great. I'll definitely visit if in Pittsburgh again. read more

Wow, what an amazing salon experience. It was my first time here, and I was greeted by lovely ladies who were so friendly and accommodating. Firstly, the space was spotless and everything was individually wrapped and cleaned. I had the crystal spa pedicure with Esther and it was done perfectly. She was so kind and lovely to talk to and really took her time to ensure the pedicure came out flawless. Karen was a sweetheart as well. Selah came highly recommended by several neighbors so I made an appointment online for a pedicure. What a wonderful experience! Online appointment was easy to make. All the ladies greet you upon entering! The salon is so relaxing! Everything is very clean and decorated nicely. The pedicure menu was explained to me by Karen since it was my first visit and also let me know about their other services, facials, eyebrows and lashes. Jennifer gave me a beautiful pedi! Selah Nails has been my god send. Let me explain. A year ago my hubby passed away. I was his hospice care taker. After he passed, I felt emotionally drained and looked like it too. I needed to do some self care...I gave Selah a try. These beautiful souls there were just what I needed at this time in my life. They made me feel welcomed and took such good care of my self care needs. Just getting a pedicure here was amazing. These ladies take such good care of their clients. I continued to go and each time I began to feel better and better because I trusted them. The atmosphere is so relaxing and they truly want you to have a wonderful experience while you are there. Obsessed would be an understatement. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcome and Karen, the owner, sat down with me to talk about my gel options since I had never had gel extensions before. I had my nails done by Jubilee and she made my nails look perfect, I could not be happier. She kept asking if I was okay, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Plus a massage?? Would definitely recommend this salon to everyone! I have been going here for a couple months and get the UV gel, which is a good replacement for acrylics, in my opinion. My nails feel sturdier and cleaner and they are always done very well by the girls here. The salon is so relaxing, clean, and beautifully designed and the staff is the sweetest. I have tried a ton of different salons in the area and this is my favorite. Some services are a higher price range, but the quality makes it 100% worth it! read more

I had a wonderful gel pedicure today at Selah. The spa is very clean, beautiful, has a professional spa atmosphere. All of the equipment and decor is brand new and very relaxing. Pricing was clearly displayed and explained, and there were no surprise up-charges at the register (which was so nice and different than a lot of local nail salons). I treat myself to pedicures in the summer months. I had gone to other salons but saw recommendations for Selah on Facebook so I decided to try it. Their prices were comparable with other salons. The first couple times I went, I was impressed by the friendliness and the cleanliness of the salon, and had a good experience. However, I had Yolanda as my technician a couple days ago. She was a bit more interested in the kiddos a couple chairs down while filing the bottom of my feet. She ran the file up over the side of the ball of my foot and filed off a good layer of skin. Ouch! She did manage to stop the bleeding and put a Band-Aid on it. Accidents happen....I get it. But when my nails were drying, Karen came to me & said something about a review? What? I'm sitting there with my foot still stinging. That was the last thing on my mind! I give honest reviews like this one. I'm still putting liquid bandage on it, but no strappy sandals or closed shoes for me until it heals. I did make an appointment for a future pedicure, but I'm contemplating on returning. I'd have to request a different technician. I went years getting gel nails, but this is the first time I've gone to a salon for a mani or pedi & came out worse than when I went in! read more

I got my nails done for prom by Jubillee and I absolutely loved them. She was efficient and very neat. This is the first nail salon that has actually done my nails exactly how I wanted them done. The interior of the salon is SO LOVELY. The food videos playing on the Tv's are so entertaining to watch, along with the ambient piano music and pleasant smell. The ladies there were so nice. I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone. read more

My arm was so badly burned and blistered that it took few days for pain to go away, I couldn't sleep for few nights. I contacted Carrie and send some pictures, she wasn't concerned and said its all ok and not gonna scar. Let me tell you, she was wrong, I have unnecessary scar on my elbow. The rest of my skin on my arms and shoulders is in white patches where it was burned. IPL supposed to bring your dark spots (only) to the surface, but in my case it removed my pigment completely and now I have white patches on my skin. In addition, you should know that this place will try to rip you off! If you decide to go to this place make sure you check prices on their website before. In the beginning I only purchased 3 sesions for chest and they told me its $825 for 3, but when I checked their website its $200 for 1 session for chest (do the math.) When I brought it up, they add on shoulders next time to compensate. When I did arms only, its $150 on their website for 1 sesion, but they wanted to charge me $350 at the register. I will never recommend this place to anyone and regret going there.

Incredible experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. The staff was very welcoming and they took the time to explain the services offered. The salon is very clean and decorated professionally. I was eased into a state of zen while enjoying the relaxing music which played overhead. My 3rd visit here, my own nail is ruined and getting thinner these days so I wasn't sure what to do. So kept getting acrylics. the tech at Selah nail explained me what to do and the differences in each nail services. I choice " 2 dip gel" which has cracked and getting stronger. I recently moved back to the area and have tried a few places before but this was definitely the best in the area! I got gel-x and it was just what I wanted. Place was very clean, people were very friendly (staff and customers), reasonably priced (same/similar to others in the area).
