I have been going to this salon for close to a year now, and every time, I have received excellent service. Each nail tech is kind, makes sure that your nails are how you like them, and makes a great effort to follow your vision. The salon is clean and uncluttered. Karen and her team are the best!

This is my new favorite nail place. All purple themed. The prices are so reasonable but you still get all the bells and whistles. There were flowers in my foot soak and I had green tea. I got a complimentary massage with my nails which I chose the "cateye" design for something new and fun.

This salon is always so welcoming. You're greeted with smiles and makes you feel right at home. I have been going to Selah for about a year now and I can only say wonderful things about it. My nail tech is a great artist and I always love showing off my nails after. 10/10 recommend this place. You'll never go to another salon again. Love all the Selah ladies!

WOW! Amazing customer service. I got a Gel X manicure and rose spa pedicure for $130. 100% worth it and will be back every month or so. Absolutely amazing. Grace gave me a great pedicure and Jennifer gave me a great Gel X manicure. thank you!!!

came to this salon looking for acrylic removal and after the service was done $20 this is how I was sent home. the nail technician barely said a word to me and I was really looking for a good place to do my nails (after all the good reviews) but I sure will not be coming back! in my opinion my nails should at least be filed neatly after this service! I was told to cut my nails and file when I get home! wow!

This was my first time visiting this salon. I called that day for an appointment for a gel manicure with a Halloween design. As soon as I got off the phone, I received a confirmation text with my appointment information. As soon as I arrived I was seated with Jubilee. Another technician got me polish samples while Jubilee wrapped my nails to soak off my polish. I provided her with a picture of the design and she replicated it very well. After my manicure Jubilee gave me a short back massage and then a hand massage. I would definitely recommend them. The salon is clean and fresh. The girls were very sweet and friendly. They are very professional and wear uniform scrubs. The salon is a multi service salon offering everything from nail and pedicure services to lashes, waxing and facials.

Selah is my favorite place to go when I need a nail reset! They do such a detailed job with tidying my nails. I've gotten my gel nails removed here many times and each time, it's clean and precise and I love how they put focus and attention on making my nails look nice. I've recently been obsessed with their structure gel. I've gotten it 3 times within the past 3 months. It holds up so well and even though I use my hands frequently in my job, I find that my nails hold and don't chip even after 2-3 weeks! I'm also a huge cat-eye/magnetic nails fanatic! I visited Pittsburgh over the holidays and checked Selah's availability based on reviews. Their online system made it easy, and I even received a reminder call a day or two ahead of my appointment. In addition, on the day of the service, they called to see if I wanted to come in earlier, as they had availability. Karen, the manager was great and offered me coffee and tea when I settled in. My technician, Esther, was great and very detail oriented during my gel+dip manicure. The salon was very clean and their service was overall great. Wow, what an amazing salon experience. It was my first time here, and I was greeted by lovely ladies who were so friendly and accommodating. Firstly, the space was spotless and everything was individually wrapped and cleaned. I had the crystal spa pedicure with Esther and it was done perfectly. Selah came highly recommended by several neighbors so I made an appointment online for a pedicure. What a wonderful experience! Online appointment was easy to make. All the ladies greet you upon entering! The salon is so relaxing! Everything is very clean and decorated nicely. The pedicure menu was explained to me by Karen since it was my first visit and also let me know about their other services, facials, eyebrows and lashes. Jennifer gave me a beautiful pedi! I got the gel-x nails. The application was so easy! They do charge a little extra if you get coffin shaped but over all I'm very happy with my nails! I'm hoping these will help grow out my natural nails and will last longer than my gel polish does. Would recommend these if you're looking for longer nails but you don't want to damage your natural nails! read more

Obsessed would be an understatement. As soon as I walked in, I felt welcome and Karen, the owner, sat down with me to talk about my gel options since I had never had gel extensions before. I had my nails done by Jubilee and she made my nails look perfect, I could not be happier. She kept asking if I was okay, making sure I was comfortable the whole time. Plus a massage?? Selah Nails has been my god send. Let me explain. A year ago my hubby passed away. I was his hospice care taker. After he passed, I felt emotionally drained and looked like it too. I needed to do some self care...I gave Selah a try. These beautiful souls there were just what I needed at this time in my life. They made me feel welcomed and took such good care of my self care needs. Just getting a pedicure here was amazing. These ladies take such good care of their clients. I had a wonderful gel pedicure today at Selah. The spa is very clean, beautiful, has a professional spa atmosphere. All of the equipment and decor is brand new and very relaxing. Pricing was clearly displayed and explained, and there were no surprise up-charges at the register (which was so nice and different than a lot of local nail salons). Would definitely recommend this salon to everyone! I have been going here for a couple months and get the UV gel, which is a good replacement for acrylics, in my opinion. My nails feel sturdier and cleaner and they are always done very well by the girls here. The salon is so relaxing, clean, and beautifully designed and the staff is the sweetest. I have tried a ton of different salons in the area and this is my favorite. Some services are a higher price range, but the quality makes it 100% worth it! read more

I treat myself to pedicures in the summer months. I had gone to other salons but saw recommendations for Selah on Facebook so I decided to try it. Their prices were comparable with other salons. The first couple times I went, I was impressed by the friendliness and the cleanliness of the salon, and had a good experience. However, I had Yolanda as my technician a couple days ago. She was a bit more interested in the kiddos a couple chairs down while filing the bottom of my feet. She ran the file up over the side of the ball of my foot and filed off a good layer of skin. Ouch! She did manage to stop the bleeding and put a Band-Aid on it. Accidents happen....I get it. But when my nails were drying, Karen came to me & said something about a review? What? I'm sitting there with my foot still stinging. That was the last thing on my mind! I give honest reviews like this one. I'm still putting liquid bandage on it, but no strappy sandals or closed shoes for me until it heals. I did make an appointment for a future pedicure, but I'm contemplating on returning. I'd have to request a different technician. I went years getting gel nails, but this is the first time I've gone to a salon for a mani or pedi & came out worse than when I went in! read more

However, when I asked where it was disclosed, I found out it is buried in their FAQ section under Pricing: Due to increasing supply costs, a 10% surcharge of up to a maximum of $25 is added to all services. Had this surcharge been more transparent and included in the actual listing of their services along with pricing, I certainly wouldn't have booked an appointment knowing how much that would add to the service.

Incredible experience from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. The staff was very welcoming and they took the time to explain the services offered. The salon is very clean and decorated professionally. I was eased into a state of zen while enjoying the relaxing music which played overhead. My pedicure was sooo relaxing and the best part was It was not rushed. I was even surprised to receive a shoulder complimentary massage to end my service. I can't wait to go back. My 3rd visit here, my own nail is ruined and getting thinner these days so I wasn't sure what to do. So kept getting acrylics. the tech at Selah nail explained me what to do and the differences in each nail services. I choice " 2 dip gel" which has cracked and getting stronger. She put so much details and took extra care on. Super super clean~ So glad that I found this place. Strongly recommend at Gibsonia for new nail place. read more

Excellent, can't thunk of any other words to describe them. Super clean, relaxing atmosphere, My tech makes sure every steps if I am satisfied or not. Surprised that they used individual sanitized tool bag. Explained me every steps and menu in detail so ensure me what is expected and what I am paying for. I recently moved back to the area and have tried a few places before but this was definitely the best in the area! I got gel-x and it was just what I wanted. Place was very clean, people were very friendly (staff and customers), reasonably priced (same/similar to others in the area). They also included a mini neck/shoulders massage while the lotion soaked in with a hot towel! Would highly recommend! read more

I just returned for a Christmas gel manicure last week. Tressie did a great job. The manicures here are always well done & last 3+ weeks. My only negative is that they tack on a $3 sanitation fee to every bill, and that was added during the pandemic, which was understandable when they went above and beyond with what they had to buy for safety and cleanliness. But sanitation is the nature of a salon business so I wish that that extra $3 fee was not still on there because sometimes it's added into the final price I'm given and I've tipped on it, which in my opinion is not right. I was also surprised that it was an extra $7 for cat eye gel. I do totally understand the extra for nail art, but waving a magnet in front of your nail for a nano-second, $7 seems a little excessive. But I'm guessing it's because that polish costs more than regular gel. Anyway they do a great job here, but they are pricier than other salons in the area. I advise booking well in advance for holidays especially, as finding a walk in slot here is tough.

I've been here twice now and had a different nail tech both times…read more The first time my nails were alright. I got a new set of medium length, almond nails, pink gel polish with chrome powder. The acrylic was set really far back from my cuticle and two weeks of grow out looked more like four weeks of grow out. I'm not easy on my nails and some of the chrome began to chip at the tips of the nails. I went out of my comfort zone with these nails and aside from the acrylic being so far from my cuticle and the nails not having much of an apex, they were nice and the nail tech was also very sweet. It was the first time I've had a nail tech talk to me while doing my nails and be friendly and kind. She asked about where I'm from, how far away I live, if I liked it here (since I just moved here). If this review was just about her I'd probably give four stars. I came back two weeks later hoping to get the same nail tech, but she was busy with another client and I was a walk in. This time I saw an older male nail tech. I asked for a fill and the same shape, but a little shorter, a deep french tip, and chrome powder. I was charged $75 for the fill, but I paid $80 for a new set two weeks before. He initially only put one coat of pink nail polish which was very sheer and was going to move onto the French tip. I asked for another coat of the pink and I'm not sure if he couldn't hear me or couldn't understand me, but after asking three times he understood and did a second coat. The French tip was good, but when I got in the car and finally could have a closer and longer look at my nails, they were all completely different shapes. One pinky is almond and one is oval for example. To top it all off, there was gel polish all over my skin on every single nail. I don't know what's worse, the gel all over my skin or being charged nearly the same price as a brand new set for a fill. I don't think I'll be going back. The pictures attached show the two weeks of grow out and the charges to my bank account. I didn't think to take a picture of the gel on my skin prior to picking it off unfortunately.

The reason for 5 stars is their wonderful customer service. My personal hell is over thinking after a nail appointment, trying to hype myself up to go back in and ask for a correction, and eventually just going to a different salon once I'm due for another pedicure. The automatic kindness when I came into the store will keep me a customer forever. I only had a smalll blank space on my pinky toe that needed to be filled in. Not only did they actively agree to redo any of the nails for free, with smiles and no hesitation (no asking to see the nails beforehand) BUT they also opened 30 minutes early just to make sure they could fix it ASAP and check for any other minor imperfections that could be corrected. And I promise, these were not fake smiles. They were genuinely understanding, not offended by me coming back and focused on my experience and accomodati my schedule. The owner very kindly coached the nail tech through the weirdness of my pinky toes, as it's hard to see where the nail stops. This was my first trip to this salon with new management, and instead of feeling like second priority to the many customers who were clearly regulars, I was welcomed and ENCOURAGED "to always come back any time I'm not 100% happy - they will fix it no problem".
