I asked for a trim and ended up getting 3 inches cut off! I was so upset because I had been trying to grow my hair, and I didn't realize how much she was cutting until she came around to the front. I never returned after that first time, and I would caution anyone who decides to go here to be VERY specific about how you want your hair done!

Being a literal Bergdorf Blonde for a considerable amount of time, as well as a customer at Oscar Blondi, Federik Fekkai, Garren, Elizabeth Arden and Rita Hazan, where i followed my favorite Manhattan colorist, I can't stress enough just how picky i am with my hair. I have worked with the best of the best master colorists and stylists, and Mandy's skill, aesthetic eye as well as her taste and knowledge of what's hip is up there with the best of them. I'd been to others before her in Shadyside and other parts of the city but they definitely couldn't compare. Mandy could definitely hang with the best of them on Fifth or Madison Ave. Trust me, there's not a better stylist or colorist in the Pittsburgh area. Are there any who as good as she is? Possibly, but definitely not better. FYI girls, she also has a cut she calls "the fake trim," where she literally takes off the absolute bare minimum if you're trying to keep your length! On top of all that, Mandy is not a diva -- if you don't like something after she is done, if you tell her she will fix it on the spot, no questions asked nor attitude. I have seen all of their nail techs, and they all ARE FANTASTIC!!!!! I pay about 65$ for a fill, which I feel like is striking gold around here, and about 75 for a soak off and new full set. These ladies are fabulous, and if you haven't booked with them please do. You won't be disappointed. They also offer waxing services as well as hair services. They truly care about their clients.
