I order from Treasure Pot because they are the closest(for delivery)to where I live. However, they are consistently late with their deliveries. The last time I ordered, I was quoted 45 minutes- almost an hour and a half later, I called to inquire about my food, at which point the lady on the phone got snippy. She said IT WAS ON IT'S WAY. I waited 10 MORE minutes before it finally showed up and guess what?!? It was cold and rather tasteless. I will only order from here again when I'm desperate. read more

Sorry, but this place has completely gone downhill. I expected some sort of change with their new location on Simms (formerly Tams), but it may have actually got worse. Yes, the delivery was fast and everyone was nice, but the food was terrible. My wontons were over cooked, and the shrimp w/ vegetables tasted horrible. I was so excited to see the Treasure Pot listed here! I'd been searching for it since the restaurant on Ralston Road closed and it was my favorite Chinese restaurant. What a disappointment!!! The ambiance is gone, but I can live with that. We ordered egg rolls, egg drop soup, I ordered moo shu pork with brown rice and my wife had sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. The egg drop soup was really good but then came the rest of the meal. The egg rolls were about the size of a taquito (maybe 1/3" in diameter and 4" long) and the filling looked like some sort of paste. My wife's sweet and sour chicken was lukewarm and the breading was so thick it was hard to find the chicken but worse than that was that it was tasteless. I've never experienced tasteless sweet and sour, but this was tasteless. Her rice was all right. My moo shu pork was served wrapped in the pancakes like a burrito and they were filled mostly with vegetables and a little meat thrown in. The only thing keeping them from being totally dry was a minuscule amount of brown sauce. I had to wait an additional 5-9 minutes for my brown rice and when it arrived I wasn't warned that it was scalding hot. I discovered that when I picked up the bowl to put some rice on my plate and almost dropped it because my fingers were being burned. Service was mediocre at best, but it appeared that there was only one server for about 12 tables. We were ignored after being served until it was time to clear the plates. There's a very nice introduction for the chef on the back of the menu, but I find it hard to believe that he's really doing the cooking if his resume is accurate. Sadly, I'm saying goodbye to Treasure Pot forever. read more

We've been frequenting Treasure Pot over the last eight or so years and the quality has continued to degrade each year. The last time we ordered take out a curry was ordered mild and was so hot as to cause coughing and gagging. And this was indeed the last time we would order from there. read more

This place is waaaaaaaaay better than the Tea Garden, not sure why Tea Garden has better reviews. It's certainly shouldn't. The food here is fresh, speedy and delicious! I've tried their Pho, lemongrass chicken, egg drop soup and some other items. We typically get takeout but have eaten in before. Friendly staff. read more

After trying them a year later after they relocated( we had tried them back then and it sucked) I have to say not much has changed..which is too bad..Our regular go to was closed tonight so we thought why not..well..their portions are small the chicken very dry and when I asked for hot mustard I was told that NORMALLY we charge an extra $1 for this but we will overlook it this time..( I Gave him the $!) wish I could post the picture I took of the partially filled 1/2 oz container of mustard on an $82 order,,It must be Arvada West teenagers keeping them open because I can't believe they are still open..WE MISS TAMS.. read more

I went during lunch hours, which was a great deal. I ordered sweet n sour chicken that came with egg drop soup, a crab cheese wonton, rice, egg roll, and a fortune cookie all for less than $7. I just ordered the best delivery Pad Thai I ever had! Lots of flavor, tons of food. I ate the whole serving that was more than large enough to be 2 meals. Decent cheese wontons too. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. What looks like a skeevy stripmall restaurant from outside opens up into a fairly large restaurant, complete with buffet and a few more private booths and rooms. We go for the lunch buffet every so often- less than $8 and the food is very good. The buffet is usually very busy, which keeps the food rotating and fresh. I love a good Chinese buffet, and this one fits the bill! read more

I'm giving Treasure Pot 4 stars in the context of a Chinese restaurant in an older mini-mall in Arvada. If you're craving an upscale fancy restaurant this is not it. However, there service is excellent, the atmosphere is fun if a little dated, bathrooms are very clean. The servings were generous and the fact that my egg rolls were slightly different size and were yummy suggested they were homemade. I'm new to the area and was looking for a solid Asian restaurant that delivers. I think I've found that place! My boyfriend and I regularly order from Treasure Pot when we want takeout and the food has always been good so far. Nothing amazing - but good, and great portion sizes. The menu is a good variety of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes and when we order a certain dollar amount we've always gotten free crab cheese wontons at the checkout window on our smart phone ap. They are slow on delivery though, normally 45-60 min. We will keep ordering from them until we stumble upon a better place! read more

Absolutely love the food here...been coming since I was a little kid, and it's the basis for my comparisons to all Chinese food establishments anywhere...and this place consistently wins out! Hands down best hot and sour soup I've ever tasted, and by far the best noodles to put on top as well. This place use to be good in the 80's when it first opened but I can't say so much for it now. It has been around for a while and I think it needs to be updated. This is only partially for the Treasure Pot, the rest is for Yelp Eat 24. My first order was submitted ok via Yelp, but Treasure Pot forgot part of the order. To their credit, they did do a refund for what was missed. I got a $5 coupon to use Yelp Eat 24 for Treasure Pot again. Giving this process another chance, I placed an order, had to pay via PayPal to use my coupon...waited, waited, finally called Treasure Pot and they don't have an order for me. Treasure Pot offered to deliver directly but after the long wait, the prospect of waiting another 45-60 min wasn't sounding so sweet. I never got an email confirmation, maybe I should've checked for it sooner but using these sites, you want to think things are working properly. I'm done with Yelp Eat 24. May give the restaurant another chance in the future. read more

We have not been there for years and was meeting some old friends who live way up North. We decided on Treasure Pot and had so much fun! With apps, dinner, extra's and all the bill was very reasonable. Hubby ordered the Duck. BEST THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD! Soup was amazing and we had so much food we all walked out with boxes. Jackie Chan treated us like royalty. A few weeks later we were ordering take out and called on them again. Turned my friends onto Treasure Pot, they were also thrilled with the food, and timing of the delivery. IDK about everyone else, but we are hitting 100% satisfaction with this restaurant. read more

This is to be used TAM but now is new management. I was not impressed. Food are not very good compared to original TAM.

The food was pretty good but I am very let down. I have had problems with getting brown rice before so I made sure to check online and I even called them to make sure they had brown rice in stock and they they did sell it, I was told yes to both and expected to receive some. When the delivery arrived I opened the box only to find sticky rice. I am so disappointed that these people could not take a simple order and get my rice right! Will not be ordering here agian.
