We have been visiting this site for years. Previously a Mexican restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised to find it's newest iteration, Tre Bicchieri. The manager and chefs took it over 3 mos ago, had their Grand Opening a couple weeks ago, and the menu they coupled together was vast. Wife went for a shrimp pasta dish, I ha d the short rib lasagna -- both of us were delighted. Heading back this weekend for the brunch which promises to delight. The furnishings fit the space better than the predecessor's; the bar remains a great gathering spot. read more

This restaurant recently opened in the place of a neighborhood favorite. Came with a friend for dinner to try it out. The staff was sparse and not very attentive, we had to ask for more water and flag them down throughout the evening. The wine was average and a less than generous pour. The menu seemed promising but the food was just average. There were issues with our order that were corrected thankfully. The good: the ambience and decor are really well done. We've tried the breakfast on the brunch menu five or six times now. The omelettes are all stuffed nicely with plenty of ingredients. A+. The bad: The potatoes that come with the breakfast C- . They taste like frozen potatoes and the supposed onions and peppers are almost nonexistent. The toast C- . It's one slice of choice of sourdough or a whole grain and it just sits there on the plate like a lonely piece of nothing. Sometimes it appears to be grilled and not in an actual toaster, which is perfectly fine and other times it just looks like it was thrown on the grill for three seconds. It just appears anemic lying there on the plate. The butter and jelly come in those little plastic prepackaged tubs, which instantly knocked the quality down a few pegs. The ugly: The hollandaise is so important to get right and this place is hit or miss on that. Sometimes it has a nice rich, buttery flavor and other times it's really watery without any flavor whatsoever. The perfect: Coffee is Lavazza and is excellent. Service so far for us has been wonderful. Servers are friendly, engaging and not intrusive. What we wish would change: other than encouraging them to stop serving what appears to be frozen potatoes and improving on their hollandaise, and the other smaller issues mentioned, it would be nice if they changed their hours and opened earlier for breakfast. I realize this is a brunch and dinner restaurant, but the west side is begging for really good breakfast places and this could be one of two that we actually have on the west side with a just a few improvements. We will be back to give dinner a try. We believe in you, Tre Bicchieri and would love to make you one of our go to breakfast spots. read more

I've visited this place several times since they opened, and it just keeps getting better! I'd like to address something mentioned by some earlier reviewers about a new business. In the beginning, they were working through a few service delays, but things have really improved since then, so I encourage you to give it another try! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food and cicchetti are excellent! They offer a fantastic happy hour menu with a good selection of appetizers and drinks. I got a side of fruit which consisted of two pieces of pineapple and two pieces of raw cantaloupe for 3.50 The spaghetti was only 13 something so that was good but overall I'm not going back. read more

This was our first time there. We walked in and were seated very quickly for a Saturday night. The owner was very pleasant as was the waitstaff. Wine selection is great. Bruschetta was the highlight. Nicely done inside. Comfortable seating and warm decor. Heather our server was as attentive as she could be since she was also the bartender. She was informative and talked us into buying the wine special for the evening which was a lovely choice! Food was very good for both of us...bruschetta board and a pasta dish. The only issue was the food took an awfully long time to arrive after ordering, but they gave us a discount to compensate for that! We planned on returning even without the discount! Our group of 4 went in last night. It was our first time trying this new restaurant. The concept was slightly confusing as it seemed split down the middle with one side being more fine dining and the other side being more casual bar vibe. We sat on the "fine dining" side unsure what to expect, especially since we are not the fancy type. Our waitress arrived at our table with waters right away and greeted us with the sweetest smile, she told us her name was Candy and suddenly that smile made perfect sense. She lived up to her name. She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable in our uncertainty . Before we even put our drink order in she had us laughing and feeling like we have known her for lifetimes. My wife adored her. Candy told us her favorate meal was the Chicken Bruschetta, followed closely by the Lasagna. When she described the dishes to us and how her face lit up while doing so, that was it, we didnt need to know anything else. 2 of us had the Chicken Bruschetta and 2 had the lasagna. And boy were they amazing! I had the Chicken dish and she was soooo right, It was to die for! I tasted my wife's lasagna one or seven times :⁠-⁠) Outstanding! We aren't alcohol drinkers so I can't say anything about that but looked like they have a full bar and great cocktails. Overall, we loved our dining experience! We will definitely be back soon!
