This is the type of dealership that will sell you a problem and not fully disclose it. (2009 GTI,…read more140k miles, ~$8,000) I was told the car had a carbon fiber dash and hood. In reality, the "carbon fiber" dash was just a stick-on overlay, and the hood was standard aluminum. I was also told the rear window issue was a simple wiring problem they wouldn't fix--but that turned out to be inaccurate. Within two days of driving, the car developed a misfire on cylinder 1. The codes were being cleared prior to the test drive, which allowed the issue to go unnoticed. I was also told the car had a "tune," but no details were provided. After looking into it, it appears to be a basic Stage 1 tune with a blow-off valve, along with heavily worn K&W coilovers. After purchase, I ran my own vehicle history report (which the dealership declined to provide) and found the car had been in a prior accident. Further inspection showed the rear door had been replaced with one from a different model year, which explains the window issue. There was also body filler used to cover a significant dent instead of properly repairing it. The repaint quality is poor, with visible drips and missed areas. Even the stock rims appear to have been repainted to match. Overall, this was a very misleading buying experience. I strongly recommend doing your own inspection and pulling a vehicle history report before purchasing anything from here.

And after getting quoted for how much dealers are willing to pay for the car I'm down over 20k on what I bought the car for from him. Please bring a mechanic or someone to inspect the car he is selling you. Out of many used cars I have owned I have never felt this cheated out of money.

He mentioned the technician who did the full circle review was a 20 year veteran and master technician. Which is great, yet disheartening none of the other technicians over the last year didn't see these items?!? Also, upon leaving the service department on Saturday, something was off on the car. I texted Monday morning and was able to take it back in for review. A large nail was in the tire, and while it didn't puncture the tire, I did get all four replaced. The primary reason is the tires were 7 years old and well, needed to be replaced due to age. This def gave me piece of mind. They also had a nice deal but three get the fourth for $1. I am a fan of the service and quality of the work done here just need them to have consistent standards for what is checked on the full circle report card.

He was great to work with. Once he knew what we cared about and what we didn't ... he answered our questions and made several suggestions that were huge benefits for us. He owned the same vehicle we were purchasing, so he was very helpful and also gave his personal insight as an owner. I have bought numerous vehicles over the years. I usually do internet research and prefer to negotiate the specifics of the deal before I get to the dealership. Some places try and get you in ... and then try and figure out how to add in the costs to maximize the dealer profit to your detriment. Many try and get you into the dealership and then play the game where the salesman goes back and forth to the manager while you just sit and wait. This was, by far, the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. In the past, it took months of negotiations with multiple dealerships to get to a good deal. Because of Mazda's approach ... and the professionalism and approach of their folks, I was able to get everything I needed within 1/2 day and the vehicle was purchased by that evening.
